It is known that many presidential debates have achieved little in terms of changing things, but I think that the last one Biden-Trump was an exception since it got Biden replaced.

Biden withdrew because of health complications after he caught covid19. I hardly think the debate made any difference with what could have happened with his health. Even with the debate or not, he would probably still have withdrawn for health concerns.

Debates will sway some undecided voters while those who have sides would probably not be swayed anymore. They already have biases and anything their candidate says is right even if it’s not.

I heard that when Kamala goes to church and everyone sings Amazing Grace the song goes "I once was white, but now I'm black".  But more importantly, when Kamala mentioned AI and quantum computing, she did not mention reversible computing at all which is very suspicious. According to the scorecard poll of CNN; Harris won over Trump in the first Trump-Harris debate. It's quite too easy to say that Harris will beat Trump in a landslide victory if it is about points raised in the debate. Let's keep that aside because winning on debate and winning the ballot are two different things. Someone can win the debate and lose on the ballot, and vice versa.



Why is Harris calling for a second debate in a hurry? This makes me imagine if she can say all these in a debate, why is it taking her too long to have her stated facts implemented since Biden is not way too strong to keep ruling the Americans as the president

Will she downplay and lie about her immigration failures or will she be honest and state that she’s trying to replace Americans with immigrants?

I am not sure to what extent such a thing is true or not.
Assuming it is true then there would be no reason for the Republican party to get Trump to participate in rallies and get in touch with people in rural areas and things like that. If Trump deviated that much from the average sentiment of the American people, it would be counter productive to include him in any debate. The last debate he had with Joe Biden was mainly claimed to have benefited him, we could argue why. Whether because Joe performed worse and got all the negative attention? After all, Trump did exactly the same he did yesterday and spat his political nihilism all over the place and yet, he "won" that past debate.
Trump has charisma, that means it does not mean how wacky he can get or how outrageous things he says in public, he will continue to appeal to people or at least an important percentage of the people in the country.

Trump could absolutely destroy the Republican party by simply telling his base to not show up to vote. No other politician in US history has had this kind of control over a major political party. Because of that power, the Republicans will support Trump no matter what he does or says. He could literally be running from a jail cell and they would still support him; he could literally be running from a geriatric care facility and they would still support him. They have absolutely no choice.

So in the end, no legislation was passed while Trump was president because he couldn't make a deal, and under Biden there was a deal with strong bipartisan support - until Trump decided he preferred "open borders".

This election will not be determined by immigration policies alone. People are more concerned about other important problems in American society. I don't like Kamala but I gotta say, she's been so impossible for Republicans to get something to stick to her that all they can come up with is the same old racist immigration tropes, just turned up to 11. It may or may not work for the 50k or so hillbillies that they need to convince in the swing states. I know a guy who honestly believes Kamala herself is an illegal immigrant and the deep state is covering it up.
