I'm thinking now, what use could artificial intelligence bring to the gaming industry? Perhaps it can be used to calculate odds. AI can be used in general to process large arrays of statistics on sports matches. But AI, in my opinion, can be used mainly in sports betting, in the casino industry it is more or less useless. I see AI as a helper/assistant of human in his or her daily activities. AIs are not better than human because if they are left alone, they can not do anything in their own but they work with algorithm, they process their information and produce results based on already made information, and because they are AI functioning on preprocessed information, they can produce a quick and fast results within a short period of time that humans can not be able to come up with the result so quickly.

AIs can be able to dive into the crypto market, feed on previous and current crypto related news and come up with the result for the token or coin you should trade, and they can do this within a short period of time but it can take a human longer time to make that same prediction because human will also use different tools and perimeters to determine the future price of an asset.

AI can also make prediction in the casino using every information they can get about the game to make their prediction.

In conclusion, AI is fast because they use seconds or minutes to produce a result but human can take a bit longer but that doesn't make them to be better than human, perhaps they uses a collective data of human information.

I haven’t come across any AI that actually tries to predict the winner of sporting events. There’s tricks you can play to get an answer, but it isn’t legitimately researched by the AI. There are two different customers, one is high roller and another one is looking to make money from gambling.

What make the casino survive is the high roller because they're not looking to make money from gambling and they spend a lot money on there. Hidden injuries? You mean that injuries that no one knows about? I don't think you can blame AI specifically for that, because if that data isn't available to anyone, everyone would be unaware about it.
And technically it would be easy to train AI by adding real time weather data sources. And AI could look for patterns if there is any correlation on how different teams and different players perform on different conditions. That would be insanely hard work for any human and computer could do it in seconds. Personally i don't believe that connection would be significant enough to even study.

Obviously AI would have blind spots, and these public AI's are just horrible in such tasks. But with enough computing and hard drive space, you could train one that would act only with the API sources you would provide. It would be far from perfect and would have errors in the data, but imho it's an interesting idea, just to study what kind of correlations it would found on different things.

Using AI to forecast something can help us to make decision, but make sure we've collect all the information and data instead of relying on the developers. Because we don't know what data and information they collected, not to mention some sites didn't collect the recent data.
