Bull Or Bear Market which is most preferable to you?

I think that most of us are very bullish preference, because we faithfully believe what Bitcoin represents, but as far as I'm concerned this has two sides, that of market speculators and that of investors, obviously the only thing investors have to do is follow their investment, hold on all the time and only withdraw when they see benefits, but those who are traders know that they have to win even when the market goes down in price, in bitcoin I do want it to reach $100k this year, just to give the psychological + business blow, just for that, but it is somewhat difficult, however the rebound it has now is very good and can influence confidence, which for me is what can drive it to be more bullish, especially for December.

Yes, I mean it is not really that shocking to be bullish right now, we all know that it is going to be something that will take a while for it to happen and I think it's clear that we are going to end up with a good result eventually as well. Halving season is followed by bull period and that has happened all the time, so I do not think that it is that shocking to expect it to happen again, we all know that it will happen again so we should not be really shocked that much.

I feel like we are being too harsh on people who are doubting the increase, they just saw too much drop in the price to have that confidence right now and that's fine, some people could be like that and I understand it, we should just make sure that we understand their position but also keep holding as well.

That is why I like this period, people are all acting as if they knew that it would go up, when it was most of them that sold it and made it go up. If everyone knew that it would go up, then who were the people who sold to make it go under 50k just not long ago, most of them didn't know and they are all acting like they knew.

So I like bull period, and I prefer it sometimes, not for myself because I still prefer bear for myself since that is the time to buy and hold for long term and bear period gives me a chance to make some good money, but also we need to remember that it is going to be something that is getting us a good profit as well. However, I like bull period too because ı see people acting as if they know it all and they are making a lot when they were silent during the bear period.

To trade everything is clearly preferred and not only in bullish or bearish situations, because what is needed in trading is to be able to use the difference that we can get from the actions of both, so that it can produce benefits that can be obtained.

The title of the post above is interesting, in my assumption If the market conditions are good or not , look at the pattern,  For example, when the market starts to be bullish, it does not mean that all good opportunities to buy will continue to be safe always, because at any time the price of good can reverse direction beyond many people's expectations, there may be negative sentiment because whales continue to slam and sell their assets massively. that's true and it also a really important thing to remember for people who have open long position and already in profit in bullish market, previous bullrun i've seen many people got too much greedy not closing for profit and ended up going back to the beginning again.

even though currently I don't think we're near bearish time, but once BTC actually sets new ATH record, it will always be followed by bearish cycle since such thing is what make the market healthy and not manipulated market, always embrace for the changing of trend, never gets caught off guard being too greedy.

actually the aim of anyone to invest in bitcoin is to make money, I know quite well that cryptocurrency investment is good but you have to know the period you will invest that will be favourable for you to have profit or make profit for the investment,many investors fails to examine Bitcoin properly before they invest and that has been the challenge they face right now, waiting for bearish season is good ideas for starters in bitcoin, because if you quickly invest in bitcoin without grabbing the concept first, it will make you to feel discouraging for bitcoin investment, invest when your mind and instinct permits you to invest, don't follow others to invest due to their reasons that is convenient to them.

It is a fact, and this is where it is evident that in the market things are very different in each period of time, the situation that occurred with the penultimate Halving is not the same as the last halving , because the circumstances were different , there were other things that influenced the world , suddenly everyone was preparing for the Halving and not, in fact the opposite happened, the price went down and this baffled many , but this is the beautiful thing about BTC, about the market, that it is not when the masses tell them that it is when it should Really happen , for me the Halving Effect has not yet occurred and for me there is already an accumulation of ETF approval , Halving and Possibly the 4-year cycle when BTC goes up in Price , that is why I think it will be a bomb when it decides to raise the price.

That means, we need to acknowledge the bear market first in order to achieve the bullish market we all dream of.

Both the Bull and Bear Market are very important in the world of cryptocurrency, I recently learnt that for one to thrive in the market, you got to love both markets. Though they're both very important but different people got their most preferred/favourable market, those who don't have much in their portfolio and are yet to accumulate more love the bear market and constantly hope it occurs so they'll see an opportunity to accumulate as much as possible.
 Well, that doesn't imply to those set of people alone cause whales still accumulate more in the bear market despite having more than enough in their portfolio, however their are others who pray for the bull market so they'll take profits, mostly those who invest on Alts, Memecoins or shitcoins, so what I understand is that the bear market is very important because it gives every class of investors an opportuniy to accumulate as much as possible while the Bull market is mostly important for those who wants to take profits, so that got me curious to know which people in this forum really like, is it the Bull or Bear market?

Well you have actually said a lot and what you said is the actual fact, the bull season and the bear season is very much important to everyone, to those accumulating or to selling off, and taking profit.
But in my own opinion, and according to your question, I prefer the bear season than the bull season, reason is that, in as much as it's an accumulative season, I find joy trading a bearish market than a bullish market,
 because when I do trade, I mostly trade trends, and it's very easy for the market to collapse than the market rising, especially when trading alt and shit coin, so my decision of loving the bear season is based on my interest, but that doesn't mean I don't have a good stash of Bitcoin in my portfolio.

So I try to maximize my gains in both seasons, but where the gains are, mostly are as an investor, is the bear season, because the price you buy is what mostly determine how profitable you are going to be in the bull season .

Yes, it is a fact, what happens is that the cycles help us have at least a guide and an idea of ??what can happen, however now in the world many things are happening, and many fundamentals that can be very small and become something very big, then in this order of ideas things can be more difficult when it comes to doing things better, in every moment that we are living in BTC I know that it is an opportunity, whether as you say, the price goes up or down it will always represent an opportunity, because I am sure that in about 10-15 years the price will be very high Compared to now.

Without the bear market to accumulate Bitcoin you would not be making profits in the bull market. It is the decision we take in the beer market that determine how our bull market is going to look like. If we buy Bitcoin in time during the beer market, it does not matter that much when we sell in the bull market because will still be making profits. For people that bought Bitcoin at all time low, they will always be in profits when Bitcoin bull market gets to its maximum height. They can make profits at any price that they sell until it gets below the price they brought Bitcoin at therefore the profits are made technically during the bear market and not the bull market. You make profits when you buy at the right and cheap prices. But both market are important as they compliment eachother.

In my case, I prefer the bull market, because in a bull market when the price is rising, it has had small drops, and in these small drops I can buy and when it rises I make more profit, because it is a bull market the risk of losses becomes smaller. In my opinion. for example, the price of bitcoin is currently at $62,000, it rises and breaks $74,000 and the bull market begins, then the price reaches $85,000 but then it falls to $78,000 and I buy, and then the price continues to rise, with each small drop in price I continue to buy.

You prefer the bull run but why look for a small drop to buy? Anyways, this should make us realize that we also need a bear market and not just the bull run. However, if I'm going to answer it in a more philosophical way, bull run must be better because we still can buy at highs and then sell at an even higher price because we are only talking about one direction here and that is, the price goes upwards continuously.

Back at you, when there is a bull run, the price can actually dump hard but it is a much better buying opportunity than the ones you want there which are small drops only. Though I think I understand why you wish for it. Because small drops can also make the price to recover easily. I think that's true but it also occurs in a bear market because many people tend to buy hard during it.

In terms of risks, it can depend on the coin first. If it was Bitcoin, then a bear market is less risky since a lot of people are still buying it despite its price is dumping and this makes the price to recover easily. While in a BTC bull run, a lot of people are going to dump their coins for profits. As for the low-quality coins a.k.a shitcoins, bull market is less risky for them because they are only in for the hype. And if there is a bear market, this is also their clean-up time.

Both moments should actually be equally liked by everyone who likes real profits, because if some people don't like bear market conditions, of course those people will also find it difficult to make a profit because usually such people are always afraid to buy when the price drop is happening. So clearly there will be no way to hate bears if they still like profits because profits at bullish moments are only obtained by people who have dared to buy in bearish conditions. Of course anyone that has been holding for years prefers a bull market. Why wouldn't they? And then everyone that hasn't invested in bitcoin or any other crypto or already has sold their investments prefers a bear market so they can accumulate/rebuy at a much lower price to gain profit. And then there are regular traders that don't care if it is a bear or a bull market. They take the advantage of the current volatility to make as much profit as possible. So yeah, in the end, it depends on the individual and their goal. But do keep that in mind that both a bear and a bull market is always on your side. Don't sell during the dip and take profits during the rise.
