Easy way to create a table in the forum.

Hello everyone,
I have a topic to share in the forum, but the topic will best fit in a tabular form. I have searched the forum and have read some threads on how to create a table,  but it seems I'm having difficulties.
Can anyone help me with a sample bbcodes to create a 3 column and 10 rows table?

There are many formats for tables with bbcode and you can try with these formats. With these formats, it is easy for you to add columns and rows to have 3 columns and 10 rows like you asked.

Some years ago when I joined the forum and wanted to create a topic but I knew that it would beat fit and pass the message well if presented in a table, I asked myself this question and proceeded to use the search box. There were many topics on tables but I went with the one that thought I understood the best. I tell you it wasn't easy at first. It was very confusing and took me the whole day to get the hang of it until I did. Creating tables is a lot of work and I avoid less I can't. I hope to see your topic which after you have created the table.

I think you have done a fantastic job. You can make the underscore longer so as to cover the length to the text. This is like the most basic table. I hope it suits what you need it for. There are advanced tables where you add some color coding. You can try all of these in your spare time,. you'll really find them fund and also worth the time ans effort.

Thanks for the follow up, I really appreciate.  I observed that without using colors, the texts in one table data tends to join the texts in another table data thereby disrupting the table alignment.  This is tedious to do with a mobile phone and then it is also fun. It has taken alot of my time, I am not sure I will do any other tabular post after this. I am not giving up because it's my first experience and I'm learning also.

Haha, best of luck buddy, You've done a decent job, and your first attempt is quite impressive, your efforts are worth appreciating, keep it up, tables do take some time but there are some other ways to present similar kinds of data in another approach where could have used the sub-headings with glow feature. Like

1. Hi buddy:

How are you doing........

2. For Example:

I hope you've got it, this approach is in repeating mode.


Also, you've used the Bold with the highlighted Heading, which does not look cool the normal text looks more pleasant, bold should be used only to mention important words or to highlight specific comments in the entire post.

Thank you very much. But the table is too hectic, next time I will use this type. Maybe I will have to learn how to use the  BBcodes very well because it's the little I learnt about BBcodes that I implemented in this my first table. It's really fun learning about BBcodes.

Not many people think that BBcoding is fun to learn but I agree with you and have to admit that it has it's appeal when you get it to work.
