I do not trust the posts of this Vitalik in social media anymore. He was sharing bullish thoughts on Ethereum for this month, however if you look onchain, the Ethereum Foundation which is under his control and his personal wallet were sending ETH in exchanges for dumping.

Is his plan to publicly mention these projects that are in stage 1+ in decentralization are really the tokens of projects that he and the members of the Ethereum Foundation are holding? This is very headshaking behavior.

I take this seriously. Starting next year, I plan to only publicly mention (in blogs, talks, etc) L2s that are stage 1+, with *maybe a short grace period* for new genuinely interesting projects.

It doesn't matter if I invested, or if you're my friend; stage 1 or bust.

Multiple ZK-rollup teams have told me they're on track to be stage 1 by year end. I'm excited to see that happen!

Of course we should not throw away training wheels become we're actually confident that the proof systems are secure; that would be irresponsible. But stage 1 (75% threshold on council to override the proof system, 26%+ of council must be outside the rollup team) is a very reasonable moderate milestone. The multisigs I'm in have not had a single liveness failure in years, let alone 26%.

The era of rollups being glorified multisigs is coming to an end. The era of cryptographic trust is upon us.

You should not trust any statements before doing your own research and since Vitalik cannot influence the market significantly it is better not to take his predictions too seriously.

Their selling now is illogical as we all know the price will rise in the coming months so maybe there were things that had to be paid like loans for example.

I don't know how the regulatory laws have changed but in some countries you can be prosecuted if you give financial advice that leads to real losses.

These developers have their own agendas to whatever they say on social media. Whether it's for clout or for more shilling, don't be trusting with whatever kind of impressive and appreciating words they say. I remember the times that Vitalik always get a huge stack on his stash with the memecoins and said that he'd donate all of it. That's something that still boggles me up to now that he'd always have those memes that pumps and then dumps it all at once. I think he's more of Elon or a combination of them? RIP John though.

That's the expression I looked for while running through the OP. I mean it doesn't make any sense if he will be selling now that price isn't bullish while he could just week a few weeks and max out on the same thing.

OP, I don't know the part that qualified him as the new John McAfee by your books. Sounds more like the good man with
the ladies thing, huh or the wavering position? Nice picture angle, though.

Before you boast of your material acquisition, take a stroll to a morgue and there you will find those who were once better than you're.
Only fools think they've it all. Stay humble 🤔

This makes no sense.  You're complaining about the EF dumping its ethereum. We know well that the EF is a non-profit organization.

https://eu.ci/organisations/ethereum-foundation/#

And how can EF fund its operational costs & RnD? They received nothing from fee revenues generated by their protocol. The protocol revenue is fairly going to all miners and validators who helped maintain it.

It's normal for EF to dump their ethereum to pay for their operational costs and continue their R&D.

This is interesting. Why should Vitalik Buterin be dumping Etherrum? Is there something he knows we don't know

I would think the user bbc.reporter is more likely to self destruct like John McAfee. They seem to believe anything that was put in front of them without doing any research.
Personally I don't like ETH and use it only when needed, but VB is transparent about what he does and why he is doing it.

Seriously, not a direct dig on you but there is so much BS out there about ETH / VB we really don't need more.

Without research? Do you know how this issue began? The Ethereum Foundation sent 35,000 ETH to an exchange without any financial disclosures. Vitalik has also been dumping his coins from his personal wallet while sharing bullish posts about Ethereum in social media while dumping. What does this imply for you? That I am not doing my research? How would it appear for Ethereum holders if we witness this while ETH is underperforming against the whole market because many institutional investors similar to Jump Crypto are also dumping ETH?

Also, there are only 2 people who has always have the real control on the Ethereum Foundation. This is Vitalik and Aya Miyaguchi. Vitalik is hyping while dumping from his personal wallet and Aya is dumping the foundation's ETH without disclosures or announcements. They only announced when the Ethereum community began questioning them in social media.

Everyone should stop riding on the Money Skeleton's groin and do their research.
