I am new in the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency industry.  I am trying my best to read a lot of things that are somehow technical, such as trying my best to know the technical aspect of Bitcoin. Now I'm trying my best to read everything about it. It's fun reading, but it consumes a lot of time. I want to understand whether it is really necessary to know this in-depth of Bitcoin. Is a common knowledge of how to buy, sell, and store Bitcoin, okay?

What will be the benefit of anyone who dedicates a whole year to knowing the in-depth of Bitcoin?

Will there ever be a time that such a person will be employed, maybe to be teaching about Bitcoin or do any other Bitcoin related job?
Having a good knowledge about Bitcoin and its technical is a good thing  because it can be a knowledge that will have add value to you in one way or the other. The knowledge you may have about bitcoin technical may not be use to gain employment but it is not a waste. If you  think learning Bitcoin technical is interesting to you and it is fun for you to understand, them you have to go for it because one of the good thongs about learning is when you have passion for something,  with passion you don't have to force yourself to learn.
For me I think it is a privilege for those who see learning Bitcoin technical interesting and very easy to understand because many people like to have knowledge about the technical aspect of bitcoin but it seems difficult because of some reasons.

Will there ever be a time that such a person will be employed, maybe to be teaching about Bitcoin or do any other Bitcoin related job?

Understanding what Bitcoin is about will open your eyes to what you don't know and what you don't know is more than what you know. Let's me start from privacy and fiat. Your transaction is open to the government and no matter how the banks tells you that your transaction is encrypted and not open, it's like that from the public but in the back end, they know everything about your transaction because it's link to your kyc which you have have done  with them. However, with the use of Bitcoin, you don't need kyc and the pseudonym makes it hard to know the source of the transaction.

Bitcoin helps you breaks censorship, it's resistant to dictatorship and anyone trying to makes you not enough the freedom of transactions. Your bank can decide to reject your transaction if they wish but the Bitcoin node and miners can never reject your transaction unless you are trying to cheat the Bitcoin protocol which is even difficult thing to do. There is much for Bitcoin to show you than the ordinary eye but you have to get started, you will learn new things along the way.

Well, it’s not mandatory for everyone in the crypto space to possess the in-depth knowledge of Bitcoin, it’s more like a choice you make, while it’s an added advantage to have an in-depth knowledge of Bitcoin, it doesn’t in anyway mean that those who fail to acquire the knowledge will not be successful in their Bitcoin journey.

To begin your journey, the most important thing is to have the basic knowledge of Bitcoin and maybe with with time you can advance your knowledge gradually, you know what they say, learning never ends. Basic knowledges like the fundamentals of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency, being able to use wallets and exchanges and knowing how to keep yourself safe and secure in the crypto space I believe are enough to help you start your journey and along the line, you’ll be able to improve in your learning.

Yes spending a year studying and learning about the in-depth knowledge of Bitcoin may have its own advantages too, with the experience and knowledge you’ll be able to accumulate within the period, you can earn yourself a good level of recognition and potential career opportunities in the the field and with the right connections and opportunities, you may potentially land yourself great jobs in cryptocurrency education, blockchain development, regulatory compliance, analysis and other areas in the crypto space. But sometimes this may take longer than you’d think.

Learning about bitcoin is not by force, You don't need to know everything or the technical aspects of bitcoin before you start. Bitcoin is very broad and vast, so you can learn the primary aspect which involves buying and selling or stacking bitcoin for futuristic purpose. Then you can be learning other important aspect of it to make your fund more secured. Theoat important thing in learning dip things if bitcoin is to be personally Secure from cyber criminal because they are not in any way tired you also will learn ways to sulecure your asset.

You're doing great right now, I think if you come up to learn bitcoin and the platform itself will also benefit yourself through learning. You'll get what you really need to know thru reading the depth of bitcoin including the risk and management.

I am new in the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency industry.  I am trying my best to read a lot of things that are somehow technical, such as trying my best to know the technical aspect of Bitcoin.
You are new in bitcoin, and you decide to ignore the basic of bitcoin and you jumping to the technical aspects of bitcoin, you should know it’s going to be kind of difficult for you to understand it. The best thing is just to start from beginning, then the more you get to understand the basics of bitcoin, then you will be able to advance, but you can just jump into technical aspects of bitcoin, because we all know it to be the difficult aspect.

I want to understand whether it is really necessary to know this in-depth of Bitcoin. Is a common knowledge of how to buy, sell, and store Bitcoin, okay?
If you are going fully into bitcoin, then it’s better to have in-depth knowledge about bitcoin, just knowing how to buy and sell won’t really be enough, but if you learning, you can’t start from the difficult part, you have to start from the scratch, then with time you will enter the next phase.

What will be the benefit of anyone who dedicates a whole year to knowing the in-depth of Bitcoin?
Why do you have to dedicate a specific time to accumulate bitcoin knowledge? If you learning about bitcoin, then it should be a continuous process, and not what should be stopped after a specific period of time.

If you don’t have goals to further your knowledge about bitcoin and just settle only on the basics, then this forum won’t definitely serve its purpose to you. You are here to gain daily dose of knowledge and through consistent reading and understanding its contents, you will become more knowledgeable and perceptive to the different concepts about bitcoin.

I guess you have not yet understood why you are here in this forum. But if you’ll stay longer, I believe you will come to understand and appreciate why this forum exists not just for bitcoin investors but also for those who have high interest to learn about bitcoin.

There are many things that are required on the journey to fully understand Bitcoin, starting from the simpler ones is a must for anyone who wants to learn it. If someone is interested in history, of course they will study it starting from the history of money throughout time to why Satoshi introduced Bitcoin to the public.
Continue to learn about this golden stick that is increasingly being hunted by all elements of society, never think that it is too late to learn about it because the journey that has been taken has not even approached the second stage. Even if someone takes a premature path to get to know Bitcoin better, nothing can help him learn faster than expected, That is why we are always active in this forum to learn to understand every aspect that is needed.

It all depends on you. What exactly are you learning cryptocurrency for? Focus on what you have in mind to learn because crypto knowledge is very important if you can have deep understanding over it, but the crypto space is wide, you will get discourage if you said you will learn everything once. Take it gradually and you will get to where you are going to.

As a beginner, learn the basics about blockchain technology, Bitcoin transactions, wallets, private keys and public keys before you start investing in crypto. You can learn from this and you can as well ask questions here in this forum for further explanation.

My response depends on the extent to which you want to learn about bitcoin, because limiting yourself because of what people say will stop your potential in learning, but the point of view that you must have is that you have your own goals in learning biitcoin because that is what should be your reference for learning so that you understand the benefits you get if you get to the point of your goal in understanding bitcoin, even being a teacher can also be, nowadays there are also many educational institutions teaching bitcoin to their students.

So remember your goal in learning bitcoin, there is no benchmark in learning bitcoin while you want to learn continue both from mechanisms, trading, investing and other fields related to bitcoin.

How is it even possible for one to learn the technical aspect of Bitcoin while ignoring the basics? I never stated anywhere that the basic aspects of Bitcoin are not neccessary in this my journey. Definitely, one must start from the simpler ones to the technical ones.
Maybe you should just go through your post again.
I am new in the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency industry. I am trying my best to read a lot of things that are somehow technical, such as trying my best to know the technical aspect of Bitcoin.
Since you are new in the crypto space, all I was expecting you to be learning is basic aspects, but from your post, you never said you already know about the basic aspects of bitcoin, all you said was that you were trying your best to know the technical aspect of bitcoin, so I just believed the technical aspect shouldn’t be what you should be learning as a beginner. Since you made it obvious in your post that you are new in the crypto space, then you should go for the basics first. So maybe you should show me in your post where you mentioned that you already know the basics.

The entire Bitcoin investment is required a depth knowledge and which is very important for anyone who is interest on build himself in bitcoins most have seek for, so he Well not having any issues when ever his trying to invest in bitcoins: a person who doesn’t know how the bitcoins works.

Furthermore, you know has a beginner the best things for you to do now is to go and leaning about the basics aspects this are the key ways of leaning everything you wants about the cryptocurrencies; because their are peoples that they will be new to the Bitcoins systems instead of them to depths their self in learning the basics aspects but some will directly go and start from the technical aspects.

It’s okay and you don’t need to learn more about bitcoin. Those are the basics and if you’ve learnt about the basics and understood it, you don’t need to go extra mile to get to know about the technical aspect of bitcoin. That’s the broader part of it and if you’re not looking to be a technically inclined person in bitcoin, you can limit about it.

Quote

The benefit of the person will be that they’ll know more about bitcoin base on the aspect they tend to dedicate all of their one year to learning. Bitcoin is very broad also, and has different aspect you can focus on to have knowledge on.

Quote

Yes they can. There are a lot of career opportunities in bitcoin that one can delve into and if you’re lucky, you’ll be needed by a tech company that focuses on blockchain to work for them, maybe as a blockchain developer.

It all depends on the opportunity that comes your way. If you dedicate a year or more of your time learning about Bitcoin, at to a certain point you will definitely be sound in Bitcoin knowledge and if in the future you have an opportunity to teach about Bitcoin in any organisation I don't think it's it a bad thing. You could also get a remote job in any of the existing crypto or up coming crypto firms. But it will benefit you the most to invest in Bitcoin while you are learning about the Bitcoin, so that you be among the holders. You know it's not beneficial to you to know about something without investing and holding that thing you acquiring the knowledge. As you are investing that's how you will be motivated to learn more about Bitcoin.

What did you want to learn about Bitcoin? Learning about Bitcoin is not that you have to know everything or learn to the extent of taking you up a year before you learn it, I know that it is very important to know much about something that you want to do but learning more about Bitcoin and even thinking to the extent of being employed is another thinking that can not be possible although you can work on any crypto organization who are willing to employ you because of your experience in cryptocurrency there is nothing in bitcoin more than buy, sell, store and understand some valuable key points that need to know about for someone who just wants to in bitcoin, it is your choice to know much about bitcoin that you can even teach people but the main is bitcoin is to know as much as you can and be able to hold your bitcoin for some time and also avoid some risk when holding bitcoin.

I so much align with you mate on this your points. In as much as it is learning there is no harm in doing so. There is no crime in overlearning if such a word exists. Learn as much as possible because no knowledge is a waste. Not even a knowledge concerning bitcoin which is a relatively new technology that might take over the whole world in few decades to come. My concern is how passionate Op is to learn about Bitcoin. If they are passionate about it, there's no problems. But if she forces herself always to learn the technical aspect of Bitcoin, it will be fine to go natural.

How sure are we that op is still following this conversation?

I must say that Bitcoin is a speculative asset one of the best if not the best attempting to fully understand the depth of it can be very problematic, it requires firstly getting the basic knowledge and figuring other things along side with time, Bitcoin is a growing asset class of which one can not or never learn it all, learning about Bitcoin is a continuous process, as a newbie in to the space it is  always advise able to start accumulating Bitcoin with the dca strategy which allows you to buy Bitcoin irrespective of the price points either weekly or monthly with an amount that you can be comfortable with
a primary intention of holding up for a long time of possibly 4 to 10 years or more While figuring out other things about Bitcoin along the line.

The answer to your question depends on the path you want to go in Bitcoin and basically we have the investment path and trading path so if you are going or interested in the investment path I guess you don't need to stress yourself much because it won't be necessary rather you should learn to discipline yourself so that you can be able to hold your coin for a long period of time provided you observed things that is attach to investment process such as keeping your emergency funds etc. On the other hand if you wishes to go into the trading aspect which is very risky and requires a lot of knowledge, technicality, analysis etc, though all these doesn't guarantee you will make profit all the time but rather it will only help minimize your loss rate, so th choice is yours.

There is no way you can learn everything about bitcoin in One day op, but if you can settle down to learn the difference between bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in the industry, I think it will allow you to position in the right way to enjoy all the benefits that attached to those that have the knowledge of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. If you learn how to buy and sell in the industry, nothing wrong about that, it will help you to know the one that is profitable among bull season and bear season because there are some people that prefer to sell at anytime in the market, which they are entitle for small income from the market, while there are some people that prefer to sell in the bull season which they are entitle for big income, and I believe you will like to join those that earn big income when you understand the difference between short term and long term investor in the industry.
