Imagine a person lives in Spain, speaks only Spanish and Catalan, but is a great content creator and local board contributes (suppose guy is good at coding). Why he should be not welcomed in your campaign?

You have good point, but looking from advertisers perspective, they're focusing on English speaking boards to get most visibility. Hiring someone who only posting in local boards will be less cost-effective.

Some campaigns pay for local posts, others don't, and my opinion is that it makes sense to pay for part of the posts in local boards as well, because there are some communities that are quite active and can promote the project at the local level. Of course, the key is to find the right ratio of posts in the general/local forum, and the more active the user is in several boards, the more visible the signature will be and the better the results for the campaign.

All in all, I think that managers in sig companies do a good job, at least when it comes to campaigns that pay exclusively in BTC, I can't say anything about bounty campaigns because I don't know anything about it.

You can interview campaign managers so that you get knowledge of their experience. It's obviously a skill and they learned it thought work, study and personal development.

I expect that could consume some time, even if you PM them some interview question and waiting for their answer.

Yes. Doing such will create some valuable contents too. Already there is an interview topic on the reputation board or meta if I am not wrong. OP can find it and collaborate with the creator in the Interview topic.

Thanks for bringing this up, but I don't think I'm the right person to do it since I haven't gained much reputation yet on the forum. But honestly, this is a great idea. I just feel like I'm not the right guy for this. Maybe one of the more well-known forum members could take it on. If you have time, sir, I’d prefer if you could do it instead. I’ll just stick interviewing the being a 'wannabe' campaign managers here.

There are not many campaign managers there and I don't think they really want to help others to become one because the one who they will be helping is going to be their competitor too.

For the starters if OP is interested then he can PM and let them know about this thread first and let's see what's their opinions and if they still wanna go with interview like some questions then it would be possible.

Campaign managers know best, because they not only have a strategy to offer to the client but have also talked a lot with the client about what the client wants to achieve from the campaign, and what we suggest may be good but may not be applicable to the manager, because good advice may not be in accordance with what the client wants.

There are not many campaign managers there and I don't think they really want to help others to become one because the one who they will be helping is going to be their competitor too.

Don't assume, there's actually lots of collaboration between managers from my experience.

I had help when I started my journey and I occasionally also seek for their helps when I need one and they always come through for me (speaking about other top managers). Same goes when I get contacted by upcoming (aspiring managers).

When I was very active in the bounty section too. I get approach frequently and I rander help. Friendly competition is fine in business but not an unfriendly one because it spoils the atmosphere. If you don't believe me, message any manager on things you're finding difficulties at and you'll see how helpful they'll be to you.

If you ever got the chance to manage a campaign, what would you do to keep the forum a good place? A lot of us start as posters, join campaigns and stuff, but some might end up becoming managers at some point, right?

If you've already proven yourself through quality posts, trading, or whatever, how would you handle the responsibility of managing a campaign? Feel free to throw out ideas on how to make the forum better... kind of like an interview, but chill and open-minded.

Also, this could be useful for campaign managers right now, whether in Bitcoin or altcoin signature campaigns, they might pick up some tips!

Not sure why people have a goal of joining the forum and thinking they want to manage campaigns? Anyone thinking they are just going to start managing might want to consider some things.

1. It's a very competitive business. Anything can and will be used against you from competitors. This includes any dirt they can find, fake business proposals via here or telegram, fake accounts spreading FUD, and just downright trying to badmouth you to current people using your service so they can steal your business away.

2. There are only so many campaigns and 100 managers. You will not be able to get all the business and will be lucky to get even 1 client if you are not a popular person with good strategy.

3. Being trusted to hold money is huge. Noone is just going to hand you $50000 and say here ya go.

I will not accept users who only got merit from local boards

If the brand you work with, targets Spain, then the manager should definitely consider participant from Spain board that gets most of the Merit but I think that when you look at Merit history, you have to keep in mind how many merits the user got and for what.
If someone got 200 merit from one good topic but there is another guy that got 200 merit from 100 different posts, then I might consider hiring the second guy.

By the way, if I am looking for English speaking participants, I would really hesitate to hire a person who got most of the merits from local board but almost 0 from international boards.

My personal assessment is that all the paid campaign managers here have done and made a difference to each other, they are the best, they have done all the actions and examples, they have implemented extraordinary things in this forum, especially for the participants.

If and when I have the opportunity to become a campaign manager, maybe I will not be much different, I will do as they do, perhaps, without any additions or specials, what they do for me is extraordinary, Just ask the company owner which local areas need a lot of exposure and immediately adjust it to the situation. If they say free, of course it's not a complicated matter to choose participants, so in general the existing managers have provided the best example.
