Who ever thinks that airdrops is something to relay on might actually be wasting their time. Airdrops is not worth giving any serious attention because you might just end up being disappointed. Years back, you can have a reasonable profit from airdrops but it's no longer profitable as before. Cheating is immoral and the only people that have and are making a better profit from some of those airdrops are those participants that commited cheating.

Still a gamble in my opinion, there could be some who made success specially if they are lot the early bird and keeps on farming on the so called tap to earn right now and later after, they will get their airdrops and see how it made for them. Others received $100.00 or even higher, so I guess that you can conclude that they made serious money. But I have heard those who are hype on some projects in the farming and tap to earn games not getting what they expection. So still the success rate is not that high. I do agree though that way back around 2017 to 2018, airdrops are a thing for us crypto enthusiast, as we can easily get $100.00 or more in a single airdrop. Others got as high as $1000.00, and so it's very easy to make money during that time. But I do not think that we can experience it again, as those were the golden year of airdrop.

Well, personally I only follow hamster kombat, and it does take months to work on it. Even when the listing on CEX is popular, the price is really far from the target. Anyway, it is indeed not satisfying, but most airdrops have been like that in the past, so don't expect too much from airdrops. This is not the first time. In fact, I feel that maybe out of the many airdrops that exist, the possibility of paying satisfactorily is only a few. So, when following an airdrop, don't expect too much.

An old friend who characterised himself as a game designer used to say "never have a rule that you cannot enforce".

Note that does not say cannot be enforced, as it could in edge cases require decades or even hypothetically centuries (Fermat's famous last "rule", anyone?) just to figure out whether in principle it could be enforced.

Thus my tendency to suggest that "bots" ought to be part of the game.

Which as it happens today has me reading papers and whitepapers about artificial intelligence, the usefulness of artificial intelligence in markets, and - of particular relevance to my goals around the simulation of markets gamification of markets and marketing of games - the usefulness of markets in artificial intelligence implementation(s).


If I don't want to bother trying to rule out bots, then in essence farm-owning is the game.  

Thus it behooves competitive game-clients to incorporate artificial intelligence.

Thus too hopefully eventually "non-player characters", "un-played nations", "player versus environment antagonists" and such can be out-sourced by the server to other servers or to clients.

A lot of potential upsides, in my view.

That is why "player accounts" in e.g. the Galactic Milieu's MUDgaard server permit up to ten characters up to five of which can be online at once...

...Allowing you for example up to five 24/7 workers for when you are away from keyboard, plus a party of up to five adventurer types for when you for whatever reason while at keyboard desire to play the game directly rather than sit back and chortle at how well your characters play it for you.

This is what you could expect when it comes to copycats on which if there's something become a trend then lots will follow. We would really be flooded out by tons of similar projects on which they are really that trying out to aim on achieving the same success into those projects that had firstly launched on which we've seen on notcoin and dogs on which these meme coins did really make out some great price increase
and same goes on making some good free money into those people who had done their airdrops and this what makes the impression becomes more positive and driven off with that strong community support.
We do know on how crucial community support would be and its really that something which is really that great factor that affect a projects success and value in overall.

Is it worth it? It will be something not to be predicted because we dont know on what would be the end of the line. There's no way that we could really be able to make ourselves be able to know
on whether it would really be a success or failure. On the moment that you would already having some experience towards airdrops specially on TG type then you will really be having that idea
and you are already wary and act accordingly basing up into the experience that you had been able to encounter in the past. So it will really be just that a normal approach thing that you will be doing.

According to the comments I have seen on these projects' YouTube and Telegram channels, most users are dissatisfied. After 3 or 4 months of activity in these airdrops, I realized that Telegram airdrops can only be valuable for people with many referrals, and normal users promoting these airdrops. Additionally, these projects aim to retain their users even after the airdrop ends. So what do they do? They pay you only a part of your airdrop and the rest will be paid in the next chapters "to active users".

What I gathered from the opinions of many who participated in Rockyrabbit, Hamster, and Catizen is that these were some of the games whose airdrops were completely worthless.

Many people, whom I found just yesterday, had sold what they received for less than $5. Honestly, Im not surprised by the price the token reached or the amount they received, as with millions of players holding large quantities of the token's supply And the hidden hands manipulating it, there’s no doubt it would be worthless. I don't see spending months for few dollars as an appealing deal for some. Frankly, their strategy of paying in future chapters is a clever trick to prevent players from abandoning their games and moving on to other games. They promise you crumbs while you help them make millions.

I've been using Rockyrabbit, Hamster, and WatBird for about 3 weeks now, after learning about them from a friend. I don’t spend too much time, but I log in 2-3 times a day. These projects are all referral-based, not play-to-earn, so your success depends on how many people you can get to sign up under your referral link.
It's only worth investing your time if you're popular enough to get a lot of referrals. Otherwise, be careful—you might end up feeling tricked. Just remember that these projects mainly use players as tools to make money through social media and the crypto world.

They've been tricked into paying, and they end up getting pennies, or working for months and only getting a few dollars. I actually have friends who worked on three of these for three months all day and was devastated when they see the rewards.
They all thought it was another Dogs or Notcoin in the making; they've been tricked, and they don't think they will continue, but they will analyze all the airdrops that come along because not all are worth working, some bad developers have explored this type of airdrop into making them their cash cow, How unfortunate.

I think most of the coins in future that will come under TON will be sh1t or scam. NOT was very profitable for me, 4 digits in airdrops, skipped dogs but was playing Hamster. I knew price will be low since there were way too many people but 30 Eur for 4 months lol. Ofc we can hope it will grow one day, but let's be real. For someone who is in to altcoins and TG apps, I found out about new “blockchain” Selenum coming in 2025. I'm not related to this project and i don't have any additional information about it, and will it ever come online, but we all know first coin / app on new blockchain will pay something. I think every project should be checked like its:project  background , its motive , its objective and project owner co-founder . Campaign participation is a scam on those project who show you false dream like: if you participate before ....... date you will gets millions of dollar its totally scam.

It's always the OG project that actually worth it to do, whatever project comes after always disappointing because either whales are dominating the allocation with their sheer capital or there are too many people getting interested and therefore the reward allocation distributed to huge amounts of people.

same thing happened, to retroactive, staking meta, and now it's telegram mini app airdrop, so no, it's not worth it after OG project's airdrop actually takes place.
have you seen pendle's leveraged staking point actually yields negative APR for the past few projects? . that's some of the clue right there

so expect disappointing result with whatever TG airdrop that's about to come, set your expectation low so if any of them actually have decent reward you can appreciate it.

Yeah, we are going to see telegram end up being a great place for airdrops, but the amount of money that is distributed would be tiny per person and that is why people shouldn't put too much hope into these things since it wouldn't really pay out good chunks of money to each person. When you are dealing with something like this, you are not getting a good result and you shouldn't be worried about it neither. I think it's clear that we are going to see this growing to be something much bigger, I think that's the most important part.

I think we should not really be looking into airdrops in general to be fair because usually they are not great places to make some money and that is why we need to avoid them as much as we can.

Lowering expectations on projects like that are the best and when you do that, you won’t be dissatisfied by the outcome of them.

Yeah, this could be a right approach how we must deal with airdrops in general. I feel like just because of telegram in involved in airdrops these days, nothing is going to be changed with respect to the final outcome an airdrop. So, lowering expectations and not spending much time on airdrop may lead for not having any disappointments when a project fails to keep up their words.

Airdrops themselves are now difficult to rely on, including luck that may or may not be obtained, because those who follow airdrops are currently very many, unlike a few years ago when not many people followed, maybe that is the factor that caused the shrinking payments received from this airdrop.

It's worth only for few projects, the rest aren't.

Recently, Hamster Kombat has been listed on CEX, although I didn't participate in this airdrop, but many people said it's not worth it because they've farm it for few months and there are so many tasks need to be completed. But, they only earn $10 from all effort and time they spent.

So, we are now in 2024 where you can not even get a certain good reward from airdrop and there are too many scam projects. In these trending telegram P2E airdrops, so many participants are not even getting up to $3 which completely render their effort waste, because even the reward of $3 can not be withdrawn.
