I've seen these "sponsored" videos on YouTube upon opening my browser and I've noticed that they're all identical and you'll get the idea upon seeing them. I didn't watch the entire videos because it's very obvious that they're trying to trick their audience into making money through chatgpt prompt into codes and running smart contracts and trading bots that everyone can make passive income by just copying pasting the codes for which there could be a stealer. This scam/hack is what probably others have done with the step-by-step process told in these videos and that's why their funds through their metamask or any wallet suggested have been sucked.

I'm not encouraging you to watch these scam videos trying to trick viewers as if making money is too easy but you can help by reporting them to YT. To the newbies and everyone, there is no easy money. And what's crazy is that this syndicate is shilling on the comment section as if real transactions were made and they've received back enormous amounts upon following the procedures.

Please don't be fooled, don't be deceived.

I believe that the channel on this first video with 214k subscribers is likely hacked or bought and the same with the other two.

1. In this first video, many will be deceived because of that cute girl trying to teach their potential victims about deployment and running a mev bot on ethereum (Metamask wallet)

YT link:
Code:

Actual screenshot of the video in the first seconds:

2. On this second video, note that this guy is also the one on the third video but on different YouTube channels.

3.

Note: I have included the link through 'code' so that it won't be clickable but kindly advise if I should remove it. I have reported it as Spam or misleading > Scams or fraud. You can also help to report it so that YT will take it down.

I see them quite often when watching on YouTube, I used to get annoyed about it but now I just ignore them because of how often I see then. It's amazing how a multi-billion dollar platform just allows videos like that on its ad slots while also saying that they aim to protect its users from scams.

There are hundreds of these channels and these unscrupulous YouTubers who lure their subscribers with video titles and thumbnails promising quick wealth. They craft their scam schemes through eaxaggerated positive comments, claiming that the bot works well and that they have earned thousands of dollars in just one day. This is a classic case of - too good to be true.

Anyone who follows their instructions, as detailed in the video description, is likely to fall victim to a clear scam and lose the 0.5 ETH [$1320] they set as the minimum deposit for their fraudulent bot, potentially draining his entire wallet , so it is necessary to do research and not blindly trust everything published on YouTube, as the platform allows anyone to post content and even these YouTubers can purchase subscribers. Remember, there are no quick profits in this field.

Truly they are annoying and Alphabet needs to step on this. Coming from google which allows phishing links to be on top searches as they're advertised, it's the same with the video platform YouTube.  Undecided

There are hundreds of these channels and these unscrupulous YouTubers who lure their subscribers with video titles and thumbnails promising quick wealth. They craft their scam schemes through eaxaggerated positive comments, claiming that the bot works well and that they have earned thousands of dollars in just one day. Remember, there are no quick profits in this field.
That's true, it's sad that out of the many viewers that they have it is very possible that someone out there has been a victim already and it won't stop unless these videos will be out of the sponsored and won't appear on their platform. They should be completely removed but they are for the money and these cons will continue to just buy and place ad spaces and YouTube is happy about it that they're fed with scam money.

I wonder why there are no restrictions on such content or at least restricting access to it to people who have experience with money and trading or have passed a 5-minute trading test supported by YouTube or at least warning that trading is dangerous and you may lose your money.

Such channels profit from referral links and scam.

Please don't be fooled, don't be deceived.
Youtube is like other media platforms, can be used by scammers but when they do their works, they will do it with a trend. In your post, you said these scams on Youtube are nearly the same, it's understandable and explainable. Scammers copy and use a same scam method in a scam trend.

In the past, scammers on Youtube did some scam trends too. In a market bull run, scammers are  more active than in bear market, because in bullish months, people are less careful than in bearish time and there are also more newbies in this market.

This isn’t new; it’s happening all over the world as hackers continue targeting popular YouTube accounts to run their scams. Recently, in our country, a popular artist's channel was hacked, and the hacker was promoting XRP scams.

This kind of scam needs more public awareness, because even though many of us already know about it, there are still a lot of people who are unaware and easily fall for it. I think this should be posted in the beginners and help section so that more newbies can see it and stay informed.

YouTube should put more measures before approving these ads. But likewise, with google, they don't filter a lot of these potential scams and with their help through buying these ad spaces, they're reaching more potential victims.

That's true that they're coming out of the caves when we're in a bull run and that's the sign. I have reported a bunch of them as well as with google results. The sad part here is that many ignores it and don't bother to click these ads when it appears on their feed because it doesn't makes sense at all because they already knew that it's a scam.

I bet that XRP scam has a video showing Elon Musk's talk and have some display of the address where the victims should send their money. there is no problem with us who are aware of this already. But you're right that it needs more awareness for the sake of the others that are not yet aware of this because who knows, maybe one from the forum or the other side of the world is about to believe these tricks are really gonna generate them some quick easy bucks.

I had a feeling that they were giving off the scammy vibes and true enough this thread proves it.

And yet fucking Google ain't vetting such ads when a singular one with gambling or "frightening" content triggers all the red flags in their system.

I appreciate what you're doing, OP, as scammers constantly innovate their scams, so it's important for those of us who are concerned about the crypto community to continue educating newbies to prevent them from being scammed or at least minimize it. If we just ignore these issues and blame them for not doing their research, and the incidents and scam reports keep increasing, it will negatively impact the image of crypto as a whole, and we all know the consequences of that.

What you did may seem like a small effort, but it has a big impact. Kudos to you!

Even with reports, they don't take action. It looks like the report is lucky if they respond to it but if not, they're cool with that many of their users might be a victim of such scams.

But you're right that it needs more awareness for the sake of the others that are not yet aware of this because who knows, maybe one from the forum or the other side of the world is about to believe these tricks are really gonna generate them some quick easy bucks.

Thanks!
This is the least we can do; everyone is doing their part in this community. Other forum members have had a greater impact.

But you're right that it needs more awareness for the sake of the others that are not yet aware of this because who knows, maybe one from the forum or the other side of the world is about to believe these tricks are really gonna generate them some quick easy bucks.

With the current set-up in cyberspace, it is quite easy to conduct fraudulent activities as they can do it anonymously. So yeah, it is up to the individual now how he will be tempted to take the bait of these scammers. If the rewards are too-good-to-be-true, then, high likely that it is a scam! Do remember, scammers will offer mouth-watering bonuses just to get naive people on board.

I come across some of these videos often, especially when  I search for educational videos that teaches certain things I might need to understand at that time. Truth is, on sighting any of these video thumbnails that displays a particular crypto currency with enormous amount like the fifth and seventh photo on your thread, it's already a red flag for me. I have always believed that certain information (especially financial information) that could change lives are not always present for free for the whole world to see. If some of these YouTubers that indulge in such scams even have in their possession half of what is usually displayed on their thumbnail, I don't think they will be spending time creating scam videos.

I understand that fine, YouTube is a very good tool to learning, but I don't think it has all information that will just give someone such passive Income. It's even sad that YouTube can't regulate some of these things, so I just go about minding my business. But I feel sorry for those who will end up falling, because they've failed to identify a scam from the onset. There are certain things that just sounds too good to be true.

Even with reports, they don't take action. It looks like the report is lucky if they respond to it but if not, they're cool with that many of their users might be a victim of such scams.

This is the least we can do; everyone is doing their part in this community. Other forum members have had a greater impact.

Well, baffling ain't it.

That's why we have to use those adblockers. The Google search pages are even more dangerous because they are listed right above the first result, and are phishing ones.

I fell victim to one many years back.

It's frustrating to see these misleading ads pop up, preying on people's desire for easy money. And this is truly concerning how these scams are being spread so easily, even on huge platforms like YouTube. The fact that these sponsored videos are designed to prey on beginners with promises of easy money is deeply troubling, especially when they involve such dangerous tactics like manipulating smart contracts and crypto wallets.

Thanks for raising awareness! Sharing information like this helps protect others from falling victim to these scams. I’ll report these videos also.

What make me surprised is why they didn't going to jail? you said that they're scam and there are many people watching their videos, so there must be someone who report them to the police for spreading scam, isn't?

I don't think spreading scam is actually legal especially in first world countries where they have a strict regulations.

What surprises me is that there are still those who have to be specially explained that they are scammers and that YouTube influencers should not be trusted. If they have such good and profitable methods, they will certainly not share them publicly and spend precious time explaining them to unknown people on the Internet.

I think these kinds of people are relying on loopholes, I'm certain they'll say they aren't scams and what they are doing isn't illegal because of "this" and "that" and the law can't do anything about it because they technically aren't breaking any law despite it being ethically/morally wrong.

There's so much tools and resources in YouTube but not with these kinds of videos. They're made to trick people into believing that making money through crypto passively is as easy as how they're explaining it. You'd see how complicated things they're teaching if you happen to realize that if it's easy to make money like what they're telling then everyone has became rich already. Don't also believe with the comments below there because they're all part of the shilling marketing strategy that they're doing to entice readers.

Even with reports, they don't take action. It looks like the report is lucky if they respond to it but if not, they're cool with that many of their users might be a victim of such scams.

All of them are dangerous, especially to the uneducated ones and not yet aware of these scams. And as you've shared that you fell with one of them, you returned stronger and will never fall for it. I think that all of us have the same story that we've became a victim of these cons once.

It's frustrating to see these misleading ads pop up, preying on people's desire for easy money. And this is truly concerning how these scams are being spread so easily, even on huge platforms like YouTube. You're welcome. We should do our share even with our common friends and families to be wary about these because they might think the same as the beginners that this is how to make easy money crypto. But in reality, there's no such. Everything is a hustle and bustle in legal ways.

What make me surprised is why they didn't going to jail? you said that they're scam and there are many people watching their videos, so there must be someone who report them to the police for spreading scam, isn't?

I don't think spreading scam is actually legal especially in first world countries where they have a strict regulations.
It's about the platform, YouTube. For sure that concerned people have reported them but these scammers will just pop out everywhere and multiple times, unlimited times once their ads have been reported and removed. We are just hoping for the best that YouTube should deny or decline such ad request for similar videos that are placed on their platform.
