I greatly appreciate all of your responses! You guys are a wealth of information and awesome for sharing it. I think I may have found a solution for my purposes and would like any input you guys can give. It's called HODL Wallet (I believe this is different from HODL HODL).

Im merely trying to receive anonymously and hold the BTC for a long period of time. I will eventually need the opportunity to send it out at some point or withdraw from a BTM (not sure if you can do that with HODL Wallet).

Do you guys believe this is a viable option or know of a better one?...I like the simplicity of the app (I'm not looking to trade any other coin or do anything other than send/receive anonymously.
Given that you are a beginner, at least based on the questions you ask, it would still be better to use a proven and reliable wallet to start with, rather than experimenting with some new and relatively unknown wallets.
I never heard about the HODL wallet, I would definitely avoid it for holding coins for a long time.

Solution?!  Roll Eyes
First you are asking a bunch of non KYC exchange questions, and than you are shilling for some unknown wallet with shady name, and you say that you don't want to trade, just hold coins.
If this was some kind of promotion for this wallet, than it was done terribly.

If there are concerned on KYC for U.S. residents, consider to user DEX or alternative. For example:

DEX: Thorchain, Komodo Wallet/AtomicDEX

non-KYC cex:  xeggex, non-KYC exchange, etc.
