Arsenal performed excellently in the last two seasons and not in the last three seasons.

When Arsenal played with Manchester City at Man City stadium, Arsenal was almost won Man City. Indeed Arsenal is a good club. I wish it could have won last two seasons and last season EPL. This season has just started, I am expecting something good this season.

I must say that arsenal had quite a good run last season but at some point they ran out of energy to continue and I think that's their major problem starting well and ending terribly, but if we are to talk about their performance level of 80 percent of their matches last season I'd say that they were quite outstanding, defense, and other positions were all in check but they still failed to be win the league. Looking at the fact that they had a good start this season I'm hoping they would do more than what they did last season, I'm expecting them to deliver

The problem with Asernal inability to finish well as deserved is mainly because of miss management of players after early leading in leagues, Asernal failure is not only in the prepmier leagues but also champions league Asernal have display a high level of inconsistent play technique and this always bring them back to zero each season.

You do make some good points about Arsenal's failure to sustain consistency of late. Particularly, specially, at times of adversity of change It is particularly true, though, that mental rigidity has woefully damaged the performance of a team. Arsenal are a good team but until they win the PL or CL there will always be doubts about them. They’ve been in leading positions, late in the season a couple of times now and choked when the pressure is on.

I am also on the opinion that this thread be locked because it doesn't merit its argument in my own stand. You cannot create a thread in the name of claiming that Arsenal lack consistency when it is also evident that Arsenal have improved well enough since last season and even better this season. Besides, there's already a thread which carries matters that have to do with Premier League this season or even Champions League of this year. They are both suitable threads to make this argument not necessarily creating a new thread for it.

This is something they are not capable of keeping up with, this team can't be consistent in keeping up a formation or a good record through out the entire season.. something tells me they might do remarkably well this season because they had a good start, judging them by their matches in the previous season they had a very good run up and I was surprised that they made it to a certain extent but like you said consistency is something that they lack.. I hope they win the league this  season,  it would e very interesting to place a bet on it

I don't think it will be easy for Arsenal this season. Man City and Liverpool have performed well so far and they will be Arsenal's toughest competitors. The last two seasons they were very close to the trophy. Especially last season where they led almost until the end of the season. It's just that they lost some points and had to lose to Man City with a difference of only 2 points. Arsenal conceded fewer goals than Man City. But unfortunately, they didn't score more goals than Man City.
This season, I'm not so sure, but Liverpool performed better I think. We'll just see which team will be more consistent throughout the season.

The start of this season have not been too great for them. They've had couple of injuries since the start of this season, and unexpected red cards, so what I think they are trying to do is to learn how to manage every game without key players. If you noticed recently, they've been some accusation of arsenal being a club of dark art, which directly points to time wasting during games. Well I don't know how true, because I feel almost all teams do that in the league. But it's clear that arsenal are trying to manage every situation as favorable as possible.

I can't really compare this season start to last season or last two seasons. They might get their hands on the trophy this time, but I think Injury has to favour them. Because as you can see now, they are trying to maintain their consistency even with the injury worries.

There are some few thing arsenal need to get right before they can win the Premier league title, since the coming of Mikel Arteta arsenal have really improved from the defense to the midfield and maybe attack too, Mikel Arteta and identity where the problem are and he is solving them, the team have no find it rhythm and they are doing well so far now but the key thing missing arsenal now is the No9. Until Arteta accept that he needs a prolific no9 arsenal might still struggle to win the league. Let take Manchester city as a case study, since the beginning of this season their are most matches they don't really play well but Halland will win matches for them, from first half Halland will kill the game and that what a title winning team does, the reason why Manchester city is dominating the league and will continue to dominate the league is because they have that no9 that will decide the game for them anytime, until the big names in the league get themselves a prolific no9 too Manchester city will always dominate the league

I believe this year will be very different because, while last season we were bored by the boring games between the two best teams in English football and in 2022/23 City won 7-2 on aggregate, now Arsenal have finally shown their strength.

Mikel Arteta's side came very close to coming away with all three points despite playing the entire second half with a man down. After such a brave performance, the equaliser in second-half injury time was a real blow, but I believe the 2-2 result should not detract from the fact that Arsenal have shown they are improving.

City gave it their all on the pitch, but Arsenal refused to be intimidated and played hard from the first minute to the last. City maintained their 48-game unbeaten home run, but for the first time in almost two years they felt the pressure of a majestic opponent.
Arsenal should now feel on par with City.... and rightly so, as they showed that aggressiveness that was missing in the last two campaigns. The draw did not put them in the lead, but it gives real reasons to believe that the title could finally come this time.
