Maybe get ATH. In fact, it is difficult to predict the value of a valuable asset like Bitcoin, even though it is a volatile asset. But as a normal investor I expect we will see another ATH by October. I think the bull run has started and every investor should be patient and take care of the holdings to increase the profit margin.

Yes that's the goal of most people, seeing the ATH in October which is a bullish month in the last 5 years.
But we also have to be ready if the trend changes and have a reserve strategy to start buying back when a deeper decline occurs.

I set my target for a higher ATH, $100k++ could be my first point to sell some of my Bitcoin holdings to take the profit I should have taken.

Regarding the investment that OP will make in October, it is actually late enough to get a cheaper price, he should have come when a bear market occurred and bought below the price of $50k.

But if you really want to start now, make sure to buy when a correction occurs or when bitcoin consolidates again.
Don't buy when pumping is done and only buy on FOMO basis, it will only ruin your trading strategy and of course as a beginner you will panic more when the decline happens again.

From the little I have learnt, I think is a wrong approach for a newbie trying to figure out the right time to enter in to Bitcoin, if truly the plan is to invest and hold for a long time rather trading for short term profit, the advice I have always seen as newbie investor is to get started preferably with the DCA strategy of accumulating Bitcoin by buying frequently either weekly or monthly without considering the price points.

Answers will be the same about telling you, it's a yes and it's advisable to invest to Bitcoin before October and many will say to you that the best time was years ago and the next best time is now. But before you proceed, since you have mentioned that you have never invested on it, it's better to know what you're buying.

Even if Bitcoin is like a safe haven asset on this highly volatile market, it's recommended to DYOR as usual.

The Bitcoin investment have know time that a person will say it can’t no invest, both the newbie’s and the old members can invest in Bitcoin at any time they want is just that a newbie’s needs to lean the more about the Bitcoins investment and understand how dose work; to avoid him loss of his money Since the bitcoins can’t not tell you the time that is going to pump or dump and that’s they say if want to invest we should invest the amount of money that we can afford to loss.

It is never too late to buy Bitcoin if you have set a goal for yourself to accumulate it in your wallet. To do this, you need to study the DCA strategy in order to properly allocate your balance for purchases.

I don’t think their is a specific month which we are suppose to invest in bitcoin, bitcoin investment is not what we should do within a specific month, I don’t know why people think October is the highest potential period for bitcoin, but don’t invest in bitcoin just because of the article, their is no assurance that we will be seeing anything different in the month of October, so if you investing, then it shouldn’t be because you expecting a increase in bitcoin price by October, because no one knows when the price will pump or dump, so just invest and hold, if you end up investing because the month of October is approaching, then you might be disappointed if things doesn’t go as planned by you.
 
If you want to invest, then it shouldn’t be because you heard that the price will pump by next month, you should invest in bitcoin because you are interested in it and you want to hold it, and I do recommend anyone planning to hold their bitcoin should do so for the long term and not the short term.

I don't think not problem with your bitcoin or altcoin investment for this month on October but few days left before September ended cryptocurrency market show good progress after first time Bitcoin hit above $66k after crashing significant almost one month left. I don't know will show more significant movement price for October or will get correction after price of bitcoin and altcoin have raising up above 5% more.
You can wait awhile and waiting until the end of this month will bitcoin and altcoin keep showing recovery to higher price or make correction before get moment to make huge investment at October.
Usually difficult for predicting with market condition at the end of this year have two months left before 2024 end, you can start investing few percent of your assets and don't forget spend left your capital preparing if another lower price upcoming several weeks later.

When you talk about investment especially for bitcoin there's really no perfect month to execute this action. Those people say that its good to invest in month because there's something good pumps that might happen is just a pure hoax. Bitcoin is unpredictable and for sure that they are just speculating for some events to happen. So for you not to delay your investment so better start right now. Because for sure that once bitcoin pump on October you will get afraid to buy since your next concern is bitcoin price is expensive.

Also if you want to invest with bitcoin avoid that kind of thinking where you should invest only in specific month since that will just delay you and possibly that to many missed opportunities that might possibly happen  to you.

I don't see anything special about the month of October you are talking about, and I am not aware of any advantages of investing in this period because I think we can only invest in Bitcoin any time or whenever the price of Bitcoin gose down, or of you wants to invest in altcoin, you will take advantage of the market to make some profit within a short period of time.
And for Bitcoin, you can invest any time using DCA which is what is saving most people that don't have good capital to invest once because they can invest anytime they have money regardless of Bitcoin price at that moment.
This is not reliable, if you are willing to invest in Bitcoin for a very long term, you can buy anytime and hold and you will definitely get profit of your investment.

Well op is good you ask questions just desire ,many have said it all as much you have what it take to invest you should because I don't think Bitcoin investment has to do with time or period it's based on individual decision and choice of time, no time has ever been the best for me the more you wait on time the more you loss some value of what you might have invested because it's very hard to save money holding it without been invested mean while you can also be waiting for a drop while you wait in  vain.the method investment and constantly accumulating bitcoin I when ever you have what it take without considering rise or drop for me has always been the best way for any one who want to grow because it will be hard to gather money that will give you a greater shift in accumulating Bitcoin at a time if not gradual buying at any given time without considering rise or drop factor, though one must be calculative enough to achieve much but let not your calculations exceed your success to invest, I believe even when one buy at high consistent buying even when high and when there is a drop can still be joined to give you the actual accumulations where profit can be made if actually enough is in your possession and there is a long time holding practice.

For me look at the price actions, if the price is gradually going up, you might wait for a bit for the price to go down for me if the price last year October goes down, that might be the trend this year it might be the other way around the thing is you should control you're emotion, that is a very big factor when going to crypto investing, you should not let you're feelings dictate what will you do, you should also watch the situations, or anything that will affect the price, i have been there where i should have accumulate or profit big time but since i let my feelings dictate it, don't let it control you, at-least for my own experience I maybe able to help in a small way.

OP you can invest in any month of the year if you have enough funds to invest, but remember to get experience about investing before investing. Many suffer by investing at the wrong time due to lack of experience. Since crypto is volatile, investing in crypto should never assume that you will get rich quick. Yes you read that right in the news article that October is a promising month for Bitcoin. This chart probably makes it clear that October is a bullish time for Bitcoin. From 2013 till date, the price of Bitcoin has gone down twice in the month of October and the price of Bitcoin has been up the rest of the time. Maybe this year is going to be the same.

Their is no bad time to invest bitcoin because every time is good time to invest. When to invest bitcoin should not be a problem for beginners but what needs to be consider first is if the person really understands what hhe/she is about to go into. In the first time of investing the time to invest is not really the problem but what really matters if one has the real knowledge that is required for the investment to be successful.  If you have the knowledge about Bitcoin you are free to start your investment when you are ready.

If you don't understand the market it is impossible to invest bitcoin,  the problem beginners always have while investing bitcoin is that they misunderstand the volatility of the market which they see as threat.

You already have some good suggestions. But, I would say you stop trusting these news articles. These are just speculations and nothing else. As a newbie, the more important thing is to know where to invest, where to keep your Crypto, which wallet you should use, and what you should avoid. If you are a beginner and don't know which crypto you should choose, I would suggest you pick Bitcoin.

Make sure to use non-custodial wallets to store your Bitcoin. Never believe in money-doubler projects that offer you to double your crypto in a short time. Never store your seed phrases online and never share them with anyone. Do not invest in altcoins because you are not able to research the project properly.

Actually I'm experiencing some movement in the price of bitcoin for some days now, but I don't actually know the reason behind that. Or should I say is because we are about entering a new month or something LoL. However as a newbie you can invest in bitcoin at anytime, there's no specific time or month that you need to invest in bitcoin as long as you have the money you can invest at anytime, though it depends on your choice there are some people who invest in bitcoin when the market shows green they don't invest when the market shows declined.

Why wait till October, before you can buy Bitcoin, from what I've read too, October, will be a bullish month. If you're going by what is said about October, then you need to buy now and wait for it. Although nothing is certain and nobody really knows what Bitcoin price will be in October, everything that you hear are just speculations. As some experienced members have suggested to you on this thread, it's better to equip yourself with Bitcoin knowledge first before investing so that you will not panic unnecessarily when price begins to dip when you're expecting it to skyrocket. You can decide to buy now and hodl or you can wait till after the bull run, then buy in dip when we'll enter bear run.
