yeah I personally consider money to be risky as well in time of crisis, inflation could literally eat up our money's worth, which is a big no no for me, I'd settle with something that has proven to be resilient against inflation since centuries ago or the fastest growing asset today which is either gold or bitcoin, just feels safer.

As I said “it's the same thing” CBDC is a representation of FIAT money without having a maximum amount, it is very unlikely that they make CBDC with limited supply because from what I see it is only a change in form not a change in the financial system, especially a country that cannot meet its needs with its income, the budget will be sought for financing, and therefore requires new money to finance the country's spending.

With CBDCs, governments can turn on the money printer whenever they want. It will give them more control/power over the mainstream economy. If you thought paper money and credit/debit cards are bad, CBDCs are going to be worse. The current financial collapse is nothing more than a plan to reset the global economy. External wars and foreign spending will accelerate the transition towards a full-fledged cashless society. Banks and governments will win, while average individuals (especially the poor) will lose. People are calling for a doom, and they are not going to get it, because while there could be crash here and there in our history, which we had in 2008 and then again during covid as well, we always recover from this and get back on our feet. The words you said are your thoughts but the reality is that none of us have any such message. I even think that you yourself have no information where you can show that the banks will disappear in the future. I believe that banks need to offer more benefits in order to stay competitive. They need to improve their service quality. Since fiat currencies will always be valued, so we shouldn't think accept banking system. A bank may not be able to survive in the competition but it doesn't mean that all banks will be disappear.

I personally think the world economy will be stronger in 2025 especially cryptocurrency adoption will go a long way. The deterioration of the financial situation in the world due to inflation can be restored. I think positive thinking is better than negativity.

Here I agree with your few points, currently we are suffering completely different level problems in few countries even they can fix things which will bring stability and positive impact but nothing happening which is wired for many due to social media pressure we are now living in world which is full of propaganda and fear because few peoples love to have things like these around even they understand consequences of these as well.

Right from origin there has been financial crisis or bank facing bankruptcy, but that doesn't mean all bank will fold for one bank mistake. You should also know that what happens to bank has happened to cryptocurrency exchange like binance, mt Gox and many other exchange that expirenced such a tragedy as hack, yet people did not give up on crypto. So the case is vise versa for both centralised and decentralized finance and one should not be neglected for the other. Well that doesn't make a lot of sense, aside from the use of crypto.  If banks (all of them) collapse, there's not going to be much cash to go around--not that I think any scenario like that is imminent.  Maybe at some point in the next few generations, but now?  Nah.  The world economy is in much better shape than you seem to think it is. 

This has been the topic of many threads, by the way.  If there was a global catastrophe that put the use of fiat in jeopardy, it's more than likely that there's going to be more than one currency that's still stable, and that's what people would turn to waaay before they started using crypto to buy stuff.  Look at Venezuela or one of the other countries that experienced hyperinflation; they started using the USD or a neighboring country's currency, not crypto.

Not going to argue you are incorrect but I do need to add we have had this same post maybe 20 or more years ago.  I dont want to go recall the post, the videos and audio podcast type discussions I used to listen on the collapse of the dollar etc.   Its nothing new especially is all Im mentioning and its even justified.

The current global system even if we disregard specific countries and their problems, the current system is a lead balloon.  It shouldn't be this way but it is and its quite fair to say its not really a proper capitalist system at all.  Its far too self centered and biased towards the largest entities in that system.  Capitalism done right is from the bottom up not top down, the gigantic government cost and dominance in most modern countries is the most simple clue as to why its true and why it will fall apart.
  Governments dont make money, they use it up so those large government countries are relying for their continuation on the people who support them voluntarily or involuntarily.  

Its quite casually referenced, the fall of the global reserve system so I dont think its an extreme view.  Not everyone is interested, if it works it works so why argue.   I heard it a few minutes ago on Bloomberg, cant get more mainstream so its not surprise news etc.  it might take decades and I guess we could argue it may never happen just people take on the endless cost and put up with it for some reason.
