Email protocol was first invented in the 70's or 60's I think, its amazing how back dated we are with the technology and something like AI to advance general usage is well over due.   Emails, spam and the general misuse resembles the problems of the system it replaced, efficiency is key and AI should be about that improvement more then anything else.  Its a requirement more then a question.
 
We should not be so reliant on old tech when computers are capable of far better but the biggest reason why is the usability and reliability of use of those products which might try and replace these old systems.   AI is just the polish not the substance imo, people will still matter far more and exceed the ability of computers in unique ways but iterative computation with repetitive tasks is where automation thrives.

Indeed some jobs will end but other jobs will be created, the problem will be if new jobs are rare here the competition will be high and the pay will be very low but as long as you develop yourself you will always find a suitable job. The current problem is that the more development increases the more difficult it will be to access resources due to the population of the Earth which means that the quality of some things like food and water will decrease in return for the increase in working hours and the slowness of jobs.

most of AI are created with efficiency in mind, and this efficiency means cutting costs on the spending for the employee side, I don't believe AI will create that much job since it will be pointless and if efficiency that was expected wasn't meet, then company won't migrate into using AI. its pretty obvious what direction we're gonna be taking. but surely that small amount of job that gonna get created will pays huge amount of money but it needs specialization that not everyone can get.

I guess that's how the gap between poor and rich will be created all over again, but i'm sure there will be regulation to keep such problem from arising.

There's this American movie I watch which they were trying to shows us how it is possible that some AI can function with neuroscience, that's to say, they created an AI that can mimic every steps or move you make. For example, if you are close to the robot and you raise up you hands, it will do that same thing you did. After watching that movie, I saw a video on social media where a man was using that kind of AI to harvest carrots and potatoes in his farm. What happened was that, as the man was busy harvesting some carrots, the robot was just taking exactly same action that the man was doing and was also harvesting carrots too.

These means that there is steady improvement in the development of AI and with time, if every company can afford to buy this robots, they will actually go for it, to reduce costs of paying workers which will reduce the rate of employment by private companies but I think government jobs will still be available because the government can not allow people to suffer without any source of income.

This is already happening, AI is gradually replacing humans in certain fields and positions, but that does not mean it will push many people into unemployment or job loss. As technology develops it will change everything, some old jobs will be eliminated but it will create some new jobs for the world because this world cannot function without human intervention.

Not to mention, the government will know how to balance things because as you know, as the population continues to increase and if the unemployment rate increases, it will not be beneficial for the country at all. Social evils are created from that and I think they know that very well so there is no need to worry too much as AI becomes more and more present in our lives. There will always be a balance between humans and AI and governments will create that balance.

AI isn't going to take jobs from people as mentioned like so, rather it will reshape the flexibility in jobs and make life easier and more efficient for people. A work that will ordinarily take you days to execute might end up being carried out in few hours with the use of AI to execute repetitive actions, manufacturing jobs and basic customer services. The manufacturing industry for instance can be more effective and faster if you have AI to assist the workers in human risk prone areas and in maintaining accuracy as well.

But while AI can greatly assist you in the automation of some of the tasks to make your work easier, AI cannot take certain things from humans, an example of this could be emotional intelligence, complex decision making processes and some complex creative jobs wh8ch will require your intuition and high brain work cannot be executed smoothly by the AI.

I think it's easy to say and hard to do if you talk to a company and they will agree with you but it will cost you a lot of money because you mentioned robots. What is certain with AI must have negative and positive sides, but what is clear is that AI is a complement to being more productive. For those who work using technology, AI is very helpful. Remember AI is not a substitute for human creativity, it still needs human creativity.

A small example that I got from my environment, I have a friend whose profession is in the coding section who has started using AI as his assistant. As a result, all work becomes easier and faster. Even for my friend in the coding field, it is very helpful because he knows his coding mistakes. Sometimes doing work takes 5 days to complete, but with the help of AI which usually takes 5 days can be cut to 3 days. Now is the time for the world to change, if we don't change one day we will be the ones thrown away by change.

Your narrations and comparisons are good, though not perfect but they are still very okay to have reflect the reality of things. Technology has its good and bad sides, and so is AI, if care is not taken, it will affect the labour force which is what we should be focusing on. Fine life goes on after the invention of the ATM machines for instance, but if we are sincere, the ATM has stolen millions of human jobs in the banking sector. Not that the banking work didn't go but those people who would never been allowed to work there will automatically get engaged elsewhere since there was no vacancy in the bank due to it.

This can also increase the unemployment rates in the world because had it been there were no ATM machines, instead of seeing 5-7 tellers at the small bank branches, we would've been seeing 15 tellers or more with this growing world population. With AI taking control of everything now, if care is not taken, it will take the job of many people in all sectors and would even take programming job if care is not taken, to see how dangerous it could be.

There is also a belief into AI making the world a better place because there is a chance we could have easier deal with research as well. So with AI, the world could become a better place, like doctors providing all the sickness data to an AI, like every possibility and every solution and every diagnostic.

Then when a patient comes in, just get the bloodowrks and what not, MRI or whatever if you need, and feed it to AI, then AI could come up with a possibility scale, and next steps to take to figure out what they should do, and if the patient gets better then we are done, if they do not, AI could come up with another plan to check what other sickness it could be and just keep doing the whole list until the patient is healthy.

I believe there is a huge possibility of this growing to be very important in health. I think 100 years old will be quite common after a few generations. Too late for us, but kids who are not even born yet, could be very luck with it.

Instead of debating the development of technology that is currently developing that is happening, it will be better for us to be able to adjust to the development of the technology and I agree with you that many things that AI has not been able to do and to be able to run, of course, humans are still needed to run it, and also if there is damage, of course, human labor is still needed to be able to run it,  However, if we only vilify the development of technology, of course we will never be involved in it and this will certainly make us far behind and do nothing, of course this will harm ourselves.

Why would people would really be that too scared of such development? We arent that going backwards if we do speak about advancement or progress on which this is something that cant be stopped. Lets just appreciate or recognize into those people who do made out some discoveries or inventions because they are all been created just for the sake of humankinds benefits on which its just right that we do appreciate it.

Lets not bad scared on such changes because it is really just that for the benefit of us. Just like on what you have said that everything would really be that in balance on which on the time that there would really be certain issues been raised up then government will really be having that kind of sense of responsibility on making things in balance on which if there's shortage of jobs then they would be able to provide somehow
but doesnt mean that they will really be able to cover it 100% or entirely. This is why these kind of global problem cant really be that resolved easily even if they would really be taking up some actions but still it wont really be enough to solve it out.

Watching up too much movies in relation about AI and those kind of movies that shows that robots are rebellious then its not something that would happen.
