Dear Community,

I want to bring something to you attention regarding the Online Casino Chips.gg

Chips.gg invited me for a VIP Transfer from Stake (I'm a semi-highroll player) and offered nice bonuses (Raw Deposit, High Sports limits, etc). Registered on 25th of September, deposited, played, withdrew something, everything fine.
Within the next 48 hours I managed to get some solid wins and when I tried withdrawing something two days later (27th of September) my withdrawals were closed, so I contacted live support.

The Live-Support agent asked me to do Level 1 KYC - no problem, done that. Then right after they asked me to do Level 2 KYC (ID + Face verficiation) - I said alright, nothing spectacular. I wanted to upload my ID on their Website and then the Agent intervened and said I must wait in Live-Chat for a Link to a third party site to be generated where I then would have to do KYC. I didn't agree at first because they even refused to email me that link, but in the end I did it because I had no choice.

5 Minutes after completing KYC, the Casino's Owner entered the Chat and banned me immediately - the Livechat session was still active though. I asked him what's going on and why they are scamming me, he answered:

10:31 AM | Tacyarg from Chips: Hello, I am sorry to inform you. Your account will remain closed due to you playing from a restricted country.
He then linked me a list from a subpage of Chips.gg (that has no direct links anywhere on the Chips.gg Main site) where they list basically all major European Countries as restricted. However, they knew from multiple channels that I'm playing from a restricted country (their VIP Manager who invited me knew, they knew by my IP and by my profile too).

This is when all communication dropped, no replies on Chat, no replies via Email, nothing. Until today, they are refusing to pay out my balance of 2801 USDT.

Any legitimate Casino warns their customers (or even prevents them) that they are not accepting players from their country - a few examples: Rollbit.com (Warning Pop-Up) - Bitsler (Warning Pop-Up) - Roobet (Warning Pop-Up + escorted off site).
Friendly reminder that this casino is designed to lure customers in by inviting them and once they accumulated a solid balance, they will ban you and steal your entire balance. Stay away!

I can see that you already replied on their ANN thread here, so this should be taken as a scam accusation and should be made in that board with all relevant details.

In cases like this, users should not be allowed to register or deposit on the site if their region is restricted, if they are allowed to do this, then they should be able to withdraw from their account before it is locked.

While the conversation is not really deep (a total of <10 messages before I got banned & ignored) it's too confidential I think, I'd have to blurr out too much for it to make solid sense.

I had two cases before where a Casino stopped offering their services in my country but they gave me a grace period to withdraw before closing my account.

Some users believe that they can't be caught, they have forget that they once use their device to visit the casino and that's why they get the non supported location message? The next thing they will do is find a VPN and use that to register.

I am not saying that this is exactly what happened but majority of gambling are guilty of this habit, maybe OP don't even bother to read the terms of service who knows? OP I will wait for your proof first, drop screenshots just like others asked for and let's start from there.

I thoroughly read the Terms of Chips.gg - and there is nothing to be found about not accepting customers from my country. Why would I sign up to a a casino that does not accept me as a customer? It does not make any sense.

While I appreciate your response, I see that you're getting paid by Chips.gg - so naturally your response is biased. But you seem to completely ignore that there is no way for a new customer to find out whether they accept me as a customer or not - because they don't list it in their terms. They know my Geolocation by IP and let me register, deposit and play.

Assuming op's story is true, you are trying to defend chips.gg in the worst possible way. He was invited by a vip host, no one asked him to complete kyc, no mention of being from a banned country. There is no need for op to use a vpn or any other way to manipulate the system because he can simply change the platform without a headache.

There is no justification for the rude way he was treated while contacting support because a compromise formula should have been found that would satisfy all parties, including at least allowing him to withdraw his deposit.
The intentions cannot be ignored from the beginning because there is no justification for inviting users to other platforms without having the ability to provide support.

You are lucky op that you did not lose a larger amount and that you came here to warn about the risks of dealing with chips.gg. I hope you reach a solution with the platform because it has not been involved in any suspicious activity before and seeks to establish a good reputation.

Thanks for your support, I registered to this forum specifically to warn people from Chips.gg, but I get many strange comments (you can check the ANN thread of Chips.gg) by Chips.gg affiliates not even reading my statements and saying yeah its basically my fault, I didn't read TOS.
But that is to be expected by people who benefit financially from Chips.gg blossoming.

I'm not too sure about them having an interest in solving this. 2800 USD is a sum that is not neglectable and will pay for a month for their support center located in the Philippines. Unless this complaint here reaches critical mass they won't do anything (not sure if even then).
They are not responding at all via Email/Live-Chat, also not in their ANN thread.

This is the normal process with all legitimate casinos, when entering the site, you are either not allowed to register if you are visiting from a restricted country, or the site won't simply open, an error like "you are restricted from visiting this site" may appear as a page on your browser.

And let's say the casino used to allow users from a certain but due to one reason or the other, they stopped, they site will always make available a time period that users who are affected are allowed to withdraw their funds before the opportunity becomes unavailable.

Anyways, it's unfortunate and I am not really surprised that this happened and chips.gg is the suspect here, several times I've come across this casino, even through signature advertisment on this forum, it never used to look like legitimate casino to me, but all the same, let me still give then the benefit of doubt and hope they will allow you withdraw your funds somehow, lets wait and see.

What country are you based on op? I went through their Toc and found
from your story though it clearly shows that you were invited by the Co host of chipp.gg which in one way will make more sense that they should have at least asked for your country of residence before depositing. I'm sorry about your loss mate. This is more reason you should make sure you go through these much details before depositing on any casino or online platforms it will help you evaluate some major issues that might arise later on. We hope to hear from their team here on the forum.

He was invited by a vip host, no one asked him to complete kyc, no mention of being from a banned country.
OP has not submitted any proof that he was invited. We cannot assume whatever OP is saying is a gospel truth. If he was invited then he should show the proof and then we can decide who is wrong here.


There is no justification for the rude way he was treated while contacting support because a compromise formula should have been found that would satisfy all parties, including at least allowing him to withdraw his deposit.
The intentions cannot be ignored from the beginning because there is no justification for inviting users to other platforms without having the ability to provide support.

I agree here he should have been allowed to withdraw what he had deposited. That is his money and the casino in not entitled to keep his money further the way they treated him is disgusting.

I thoroughly read the Terms of Chips.gg - and there is nothing to be found about not accepting customers from my country. Why would I sign up to a a casino that does not accept me as a customer? It does not make any sense.
What country are you based on op? I went through their Toc and found

I'm sorry about your loss mate. I'm from Germany, nothing in the ToS about Germany. The worst part really is them saying "Other Restricted Juristdictions" "as communicated from time to time" - no way in hell this is legally sound.

...I am not saying that this is exactly what happened but majority of gambling are guilty of this habit, maybe OP don't even bother to read the terms of service who knows? OP I will wait for your proof first, drop screenshots just like others asked for and let's start from there.
I will rather wait neutrally for the evidence to be presented (which has already been) and for the casino to give a comprehensive reply as to why someone who was directly invited and informed them of his country got his account blocked and why a blocked account cannot withdraw their funds.

When you make suggestive statements like you did, you are already leaning in the direction that the user could be the one cheating and absorbing the casino of any possible wrongdoing.

It is sickening that it took a week's public pressure to get a reply. You could have replied to any of my emails within the last 7 days. The Owner himself banned me and said I will not be able to withdraw, there was NO MISUNDERSTANDING.
I can see that you now implemented a warning on sign in for German users on your website, preventing them to log in, good!

Germany isn't mentioned there. A user is required to read the terms of your casino when the create an account, it isn’t their responsibility to read any articles from help desk.
