Revenge Gambling, Is That the Right Way When You Lose?

Losing and winning are common things in gambling, some even think that these two things are a cycle. Doing revenge gambling can be one way to get back the previous bankroll that has been lost, this just happened to me last night, I lost $250 in my gambling section, then I made another deposit twice as big as before, and it ended up with $1,000+ in my bankroll. Many people think this is a bad habit, not having management in gambling, but if I didn't do that, maybe I would have lost last night.

All these can only happen when a gambler is running after the loss he had already made, which is as a result of many of them, gambling for the purpose of making money rather than having fun in it, if their target set is not achieved, then they try to rush for a recovery plan and still achieve nothing at the end.

Yeah, done it many times before, specially in the beginning and I have no idea or memory of how much I lost with this kind of attitude. But obviously, it's big money of my part and for sure for others too, because initially, we wanted to recoup everything what we have lost in gambling and we can't accept it.

And this is one of the dangers of gambling and one way to really fall in the category of being a addicted gambler and so this is very dangerous attitude. Maybe when we mature and have self-control that we can get away with it. Games like slots and dice or even table games like baccarat and black jack in my experience are just some of the games that really suckered me in to deposit for me and chase my money.

You feel the action is right because it works, but your feelings will be different when the result is the opposite.

Of course it has happened and the results are not always the same, sometimes it works but also the opposite because when you want to chase a loss by taking revenge, it makes us more pressured to be able to produce more, and I am sure many gamblers experience the same thing, so taking revenge to chase a loss doesn't seem so good in gambling.

As I mentioned in the first answer, it doesn't look good. If you want to keep playing, play the next day because your mind will be fresher or when funds are still available and haven't passed the limit that day.

Foolish. That is the only way to describe what you've done. You had more chance of losing $750 on that day than you did of walking away with an extra $250 on top of everything you had deposited. That's the reality of it, you risked an additional $500 in order to make $250, after you had already lost $250. You got lucky but if you understand how the games and odds are stacked against you, if you did that every day you would lose everything. You call it revenge, everyone else sees it as the gamblers fallacy which has been known for centuries. Doubling down on your losses, just leads to bigger losses down the road and the casino knows how to keep you coming back until you spend every cent.

To me I don't normally encourage that to be honest because there's still chances of you multiplying those losses by losing those deposit you plan to use , to  get back what you lost . The truth is that luck was on your side that night that's the reason you endup winning and the initial money you use which is $250, to me is too much , what am trying to say is that ,the reason you endup going with revenge gambling because the amount you lose is to much that's why you double the risk just to get it back . it revenge gambling is not a good thing I know. because it will push you to gambling more and in this way you loss more than before. so I'm not interested in Ravenge gambling. final loss in any bet I forget instantly because if I noted that then I can gamble more for recovery my loss and loss again.
