After the shit airdrop by Hamster Kombat, I am getting a sense that the next big T2E is going in the same path as HK did. Yesterday the owner of this project came up with a weird announcement stating that the tockenomics has to be changed due to unforeseen circumstances.

That's true. Those that have became successful have airdropped a lot of money to its community. But the next one like this could do something worse than the past that have became a hit. I'm done with them at least for now and won't do that much efforts tapping anymore. I'm okay with the distribution that I have received and just proven that those projects like dogs have been so good but their next move is going to be unknown. Well, as they have mentioned in their latest statements, the first players from first phase are going to receive 70% token of the total supply, because they already took the first snapshot, during the second phase which they call chill phase, while calculating the number of tokens going to be distributed for first phase, at the same time it’s a chance for the new players also old ones to boost more their gains. However, the second phase will only receive a 25% of the supply.
From their statements every they have done so far is going on community side, although the price will be the important factor here. Hopefully they will not fail us just like Hamster Kombat did.

Everything should go as promised to show how legit it is. I half agree with you on this, while it is true that some of these projects may prioritize and take advantage to their own interests, but at the end of the day they are not forcing anyone to participate in their airdrops. It’s a choice to do the tasks and play the games, or even invest inside those games. Personally, I minted X Empire NFTs for around $2 or less in TON Coin, and I already had a 100x return on that investment before the token distribution even happened. So even if the team is looking out for their own interests, that doesn’t mean participants cannot also benefit and take advantages.

Like with trading, there’s always the chance you will win or lose, and it’s the same with these airdrops IMO, some turn out good ans others may not. If people feel these projects arenot trustworthy or worth the time, they can simply stay out and in the end, the project’s team will be the ones to lose their investment in developing the game. But I think that the community plays a big role in making these projects successful, then later blaming them when the airdrop isn’t as expected or seems unfair. So they just decided to start again? That's kind boggling, months of work of the users just wasted. I guess they are recovering from it, people are back to farming and they are even celebrating the appearance of X empire on pre-market. When they announced it, I bet many players got frustrated because they worked very hard at leveling up their accounts. Also, the games that give out the keys are super boring, it actually helped me sleep once while playing it because of how boring it is and the advertisements are freaking long.

If they change their stance again, it will not look good and they will lose their community trust. I have serious doubts about the token listing price and how many tokens will be airdropped to those who have been playing the game for a long time. I somehow feel it is going to be the next HMTSR.

Only time will tell, however, changes that were described indeed change the credibility of the project in the eyes of people, which isn't good, however, I don't think they will be bothered much because of that fact.
