Trump reminds me of African politicians. They have the sit-tight syndrome that can make them go to any length to gain political power. An African politician is ready to instigate the people to go to civil war because of his ambition. Knowing that he lost the election and still encouraged his supporters to invade the United States Capitol Building in Washington, D.C., should be classified as a coup d'etat. I guess the US standard or quality of democracy is gradually dropping because, in a functional democracy, Trump should have been barred from holding any political office for life.

Presidential elections come with all that fighting among the candidates because of money. It's like this.

People have made deals/contracts with government. Even average people have done this with things like Social Security, WHICH IS VOLUNTARY. This means that government has all kinds of authority over them. The President has become a king, and gets rich because of the authority he has by contract with the people. If he pushes that authority too far and too hard, the people will rebel. If they understood, they might rebel; many of them have.

Rebelling is easy and hard at the same time for the people.

It's easy in the way that they can simply revoke their signatures off their contracts with government. It's lawful to do this.

It's hard because of the way that government has penetrated their living conditions. They would have a hard time living in society if they were the only one who revoked the contract.

Besides, most of them don't know about all this. Knowledge is the way out.
