Here we go, cardsmiths in the physical game. Love seeing this. Cardsmiths has been blowing up and now with their partnership with gamestop this is only good for us. Spread the word.

I’m not seeing any mention of Ballet or their key making process on the site?  Are they affiliated with Ballet?

Yes, there is a mention on their key-making creation. Look at the item description closely  Wink

Edit: Congrats to the key pairs maker for the collaboration!!!  Smiley

I was wondering about the total mintage number of the coins... Also, if this is a one-of-release -or not- & if those sell out (initial batch?), will more of the same design get produced and assembled down the line?

Currently on pre-order, but... there is no mention of an estimated shipping time/ETA  (IMO there should be, since it usually makes a difference for the potential buyer if it is -let's say- 1 week, 1 month, or 1 year)

I will keep the thread posted on mintage. Im investigating. Jupiter would also be a great reference for this because he is affiliated with them. I assume that when these sell out they wont make any more of this style. Their custom series 1 ballet cards are selling out and they havent replenished. They just have started making series 3 custom ballets. They just came out today on the website so more info should come as we get further along

All of their crypto redemptions are done by ballet as well as these coins.

thank you Smiley

as for mintage - 510 of each coin were made - there were some graded and kept by cardsmiths, I also kept 2 pair (2 of ea coin) so for the ones to be "sold" there should be 500 of ea.

I know they also mentioned doing some testing of the holograms and keys - depending on how many they tested, there could be less than 500 of each version sold.

There may also be future coins - could be the same design (or different design - I encouraged them for an original design) They wanted this one for their first coin so as to be "familiar" in appearance.

Congrats to our friend Mopar and Cardsmiths. This is good info to bring back to the cardsmiths people. Thousands of new people over there. 90% of them confused on physical bitcoin. But this is a great way for them to dip their toes

Excellent Mr. Mopar!

Unfortunately, the shipping costs are a bit too high for Switzerland. I'll pass this time.

if anyone internationally is wanting coins but wants to avoid the higher shipping costs, they may order them and have them sent to me at the address below and I will either consolidate/reship with other items or can hand off to minerjones for the same.

If you spend enough time in the Cardsmiths Currency reddit group, you realize just how many people they are introducing to crypto and now physical crypto too. It's great to see! Essentially getting card collectors now into crypto collecting as well and physical Bitcoin. Can't wait to see the next coin design and hopefully maybe even a premium, solid silver version *hint hint* Wink

It be awesome to even see them send out some *loaded* coins for their crypto redemptions. Surely those would see a lot more long term collectible value too.

thanks and to be clear my contribution to the project was The holograms and the key/address generation/application to the coins. I was not involved with the design or material selection.
