Ok! Jeff Garzik is the founder and creator of Bitcoin.

Does it solve the scaling problem? Does it ban ordinals from exploiting Bitcoin network? Does it make the Bitcoin transactions instantaneous? What is changing?

What's the point of such conspiracy theories if these do not change anything for better?

The real identity of Satoshi Nakamoto remains a mystery. I am sure a large number of the community members do not want Satoshi to be revealing his/her real identity for good. Let's respect that!

There are many possible candidates. There is nothing special about buying a domain and joining Twitter. How does that prove anything? Out of the many theories that have been proposed, there has never been a strong case for Jeff Garzik being Satoshi. You woke up after almost three years of inactivity to write this nonsense. Nobody, he is definitely the one, just like the others who has been given considered as Satoshi, they have obvious reasons for thinking they are the ones and we all can say they're Satoshi but still yet nobody gives a damp about all these claim.

The only way for someone to prove that he is the real Satoshi is to move some BTC from the wallet, that belongs to Satoshi.
AFAIK, Garzik is one of the first Bitcoin Core developers, but this doesn't prove anything. I think that the real Satoshi is most likely dead.
There's going to be an HBO documentary "revealing" the true identity of Satoshi Nakamoto. Maybe you should watch it.
I don't care about who Satoshi Nakamoto is at this point. Revealing his identity won't change anything in the crypto world or the BTC community.

Yes, Satoshi is from the Eastern Part of Nigeria  

Well the thing is that, some people are just very inquisitive in nature and maybe they believe that helping to reveal or find the real identity of Satoshi would help solve a few problems, or maybe make them a notable figure in the history of Bitcoin as the man or woman that discovered or revealed the identity of Bitcoin creator after he went on a self imposed exile and disappeared from the surface of the earth.
But in reality, this is just a total waste of one’s precious time (well except your time ain’t precious to you) because Satoshi’s identity being revealed still wouldn’t solve any problem in the network, but is likely to eve create more problems. So people should just take a chill pill and calm down from this whole discovery shit.

Oh yes really have to end this up because digging about who Satoshi is does not have impact on the Bitcoin valuation factors.
Whoever Satoshi is, he has done it own part of creating Bitcoin for everyone so, we hold the responsibility to optimize the effectiveness of Bitcoin.

If keep making research of this who Satohi is, who is going to make research or me or you within this Bitcoin industry?

Another documentary claiming to know the identity of Bitcoin creator satoshi nakamoto and suddenly everyone knows who satoshi is. Personally, I’d go with Dave Kleiman or even Hal Finney before Jeff Garzik if I felt the need to proclaim who satoshi is. At this point it doesn’t really matter though. Unless you’re worried Dave’s brother has access to that million + BTC.

It's more likely it's Hal but then, everyone becomes satoshi now. Mad respect to all of the Bitcoin developers who have helped it thrive and contributed during the early days and until now.

It was one of the toughest days for Bitcoin to survive because right now it won't be wherever it is because of those folks.

But definitely CSW is not part of the ones that we give that respect.

OP, personally, I would truly LIKE that to be proven TRUE. Because that would prove that Bitcoin's model for decentralization is actually WORKING!

But there's a big problem, the Satoshi wallet that contains billions in Bitcoin. But until an entity could sign a message from the corresponding private key, then no person could prove that he/she is Satoshi.

But this is not enough to say Jeff Garzik is Satoshi Nakamoto and created Bitcoin. You need more evidence to conclude Jeff is Satoshi.

Satoshi created both bitcoin.org and this forum, which was originally at bitcoin.org/smf. Later, the forum got its own domain name, but due to this history, bitcoin.org and bitcointalk.org have traditionally been linked, and for quite some time Cøbra and I have together managed the domain names. However, Cøbra has never had much involvement in bitcointalk.org's operation, and I haven't involved myself in bitcoin.org for a couple of years, so the linkage between the two no longer really made made any sense.

If it is as simple as you thought, Cøbra can be Satoshi Nakamoto too.

How if he is part of Satoshi Nakamoto? We don't know for sure. That is just a speculation from many people. I still like if Satoshi Nakamoto remains a mystery because they will safe from anything that can harm them. I used they because I feel that Satoshi can be anyone.

If Jeff is Satoshi, so what will people do? They will ask donations for some Bitcoin to him? Satoshi will be in danger if he/she/they reveals his identity. With Bitcoin phenomenal, I don't think he can drink his coffee/tea with calmly as many reporters will come to his house and ask many things

Many of you people do not want to accept that we are all Satoshi. If you are a bitcoin developer, holding bitcoin or teaching about bitcoin, letting people know about bitcoin, you are Satoshi. This is what the person or group called Satoshi Nakamoto wants you to understand. This is the reason you can not know who Satoshi is. You people should not disturb yourselves when Satoshi is not ready to reveal himself or themselves.

Your post is very interesting because it has some facts about people who deny to be Satoshi Nakamoto and people who claim to be Satoshi Nakamoto.

First, Satoshi Nakamoto knew about risk of be identified so privacy was defended seriously at beginning and the Bitcoin founder decided to disappear (if not die) to avoid any risk personally. By this privacy and safety approach, it's impossible that Satoshi Nakamoto will appear and publicly claim as a Bitcoin founder. It's impossible.

For two other types of people, the first type is people who claim to be Satoshi Nakamoto. They are Faketoshi, it's clearly.
Another type of people, who deny to be Satoshi Nakamoto, in my opinion they are not Satoshi Nakamoto too. Because if I am Satoshi Nakamoto, I don't appear and make any denial, that only put me at bullseye.
