Pure coincidence. I can't believe this is being discussed here. People are still trying to find who Satoshi is or ever was, while there are other important things to talk about (like scaling Bitcoin and making countries accept it as legal tender). Satoshi could either be Hal Finney, Nick Szabo, Elon Musk, Jeff Garzik, or all of them together. Who cares, right? As long as Bitcoin does the job it's supposed to, nothing else matters.

The community is what makes a project stronger. Not a single person. Right after Satoshi abandoned Bitcoin (2011), things have been going along as usual. I'm sure everything will remain the same in the future. Just remember that we're all Satoshi. I sure hope no one ever finds who made Bitcoin for its own good.

I believe that there's a less popular candidate to be Satoshi in that documentary - Lens Sassaman, a cryptographer, a privacy advocate, and a contributor to PGP encryption.

DYOR, and I will not post anything about what I believe, or connect the dots about what happened one month before that made Satoshi stop going online, BUT Sassaman tragically died because of "suicide" during July, 2011.

I don't know why many people were so disturbed about the creator of bitcoin, if we dive on the history of bitcoin, many have also joined in the contribution of the decentralized network and some have even worked on several occasions to create a digital coin but all avail not, until Satoshi turned to be the successful one, so when people are asking about bitcoin developer or inventor, we only have Satoshi and no other.

So Bitcoin was created by a team of developers. So it was probably a politician or globalist who led the team. Maybe it was Biden, or Larry Fink or Klaus Schwab. Perhaps it was lost in the annals of history for a while, and it was really Nostradamus, or Pythagoras.

Does it solve the scaling problem? Does it ban ordinals from exploiting Bitcoin network? Does it make the Bitcoin transactions instantaneous? What is changing?

What's the point of such conspiracy theories if these do not change anything for better?   

That’s the point,
I’ve had to see some of the news pop up on my device about an investigation into whom or what the real nature of Satoshi Nakamoto is and I just slide past it. It doesn’t seem to have much relevance to me and wouldn’t.
Until I begin to see someone or group step up and start making changes such as the once’s you’ve highlighted above, then I can see reasons to want to believe either of the claims.

An inventor knows what’s best for the invention and part of that have been the founder so graciously getting out of the seen. The means by which, domains were bought, registered and paid for had been explained which practically didn’t leave tracks or traces so, let it rest @OP.

Aside all the nonsense, Twitter become relevant to crypto years after btc launched, so are you saying that Jeff Garzik predicted that? And like someone already pointed out, many people joined into it in 2009. I joined year before and it was crowded already.

And who would be better? Let him / her / them alone. Finding out who made it would probably only hurt bitcoin as people might make a big deal about this person and centralize vision and decision making around the "real" satoshi as a cult leader. Without leaders we are way more organic, apolitical, decentralized and untouchable.

Even if Satoshi Nakamoto is still alive and the potential for his life security is found, he will no longer sleep soundly because many bad things will happen to him (all will be taken). It is common for us to enjoy the results of his creation now and start continuing the investment journey in BTC again and at least he will be happy that the results of his work can be used, run and the results can be enjoyed by everyone around the world.

The truth is, we can speculate but we don't have enough solid facts to say this or that person is Satoshi.

IMO if Satoshi was alive he would've at least moved (if not used) some of his money by now.
Back in the day people used to speculate that around the time of his disappearance there were many natural disasters, for instance the tsunami in Japan in 2011.
I'm a believer in his untimely death.

I also agree with the statement that it doesn't change anything for bitcoin. The only thing that you'll change is the life of that suspect. If you can prove it, that someone will become a target. Do you really want that?

There are many theories to who Satoshi was. I don't think Lens Sassaman is the guy. I believe the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto belongs to a group of developers that created Bitcoin. Perhaps, Hal Finney, Nick Szabo, Lens Sassaman, Jeff Garzik, and David Chaum collaborated in the development of the project. They're all involved one way or another. It's just that there's no way to prove these guys are actually Satoshi. Without signing a message using Satoshi's keys, we may never find out. I think this is for the best.

Leaving the community in charge of it will ensure its survival in the long run. Without a publicly-known creator, Bitcoin would remain as decentralized as possible. Satoshi Nakamoto discussed about idea of disappear and abandon Bitcoin community and the forum, before actually did it.

See? That's what I'm talking about. Would you imagine if Satoshi revealed his identity in the first place? Anything happening to him, would have a direct impact over Bitcoin's price. It might even go as far as affecting its mainstream adoption. Satoshi did well by leaving the project in the hands of the community. Without no one to focus on, Bitcoin will remain as decentralized as possible.

With Ethereum, it's a completely different story. People now consider Vitalik Buterin as the "CEO" of a company. Especially when most people think crypto is the same as stocks. If ETH's market price goes down or if the network experiences issues, they will quickly blame Vitalik. All of the attention is on him right now. We certainly don't want this for Bitcoin, do we?

At this point, it's safe to say we're all Satoshi. The quest on finding Bitcoin's creator will never end. Some will proclaim themselves as Satoshi for fame and fortune, while others will come up with conspiracy theories about who Satoshi is or ever was just to gain the public's attention. I really don't care, as long as Bitcoin keeps "chugging along" as usual.

I don't know if somebody here still care about who Satoshi is, but for me, I don't care anymore. I mean knowing who the real Satoshi is doesn't bother me at all. I might be excited FOR ABOUT 15 SECONDS and then I will be back to the reality. Many people claimed that they're Satoshi and that further makes the searching way difficult. Let's just not waste time finding who Satoshi is because knowing him/her/they will not change the current problems of Bitcoin. PLEASE!!!

Yep, the market won't be affected because of the fact of who Satoshi is, there won't be any scheming or something grandiose about it for more than 15-60 seconds like you said.

Yeah we will never know who Satoshi is & that’s for the best. He walked away after creating his masterpiece, he desires to remain anonymous. We can speculate until we’re blue in the face but it’s a waste of energy. Satoshi is & will remain anonymous.

Yeah, if he is found, there would be an endless charade of questions, proposals, and such about BTC, and as a whole, he would become an influencer of sorts, which is not what he envisioned, in my opinion.

Questions are here for many years, no answers officially from Satoshi Nakamoto after his disappearance years ago. If Satoshi Nakamoto is found, he will have many risks like arrest, imprison and many things. Fortunately, it's his personal issue and Bitcoin will not be shut down by Satoshi Nakamoto even he is arrested like Pavel Durov, the founder of Telegram.

Telegram is centralized and if the found is arrested, forced to do things to satisfy governments, he will do it as we witnessed. Bitcoin is different as it is decentralized and Satoshi Nakamoto has no power to change its protocol by himself. If protocol needs to be changed, it must have consensus in Bitcoin community via Bitcoin nodes.
