If 100k is to happen the touchpaper needs to be lit immediately and Im not seeing it today at least.   BTC can do anything and has moved rapidly in the past but I think even moving beyond 70k requires alot and may not occur this year.

Dealing up with a speculative market will really be giving out that kind of hope and those kind of speculations on which you would really be normally setting out those numbers that you do assume that it could hit up on the future. Its normal since we are just humans and we've been investing into this unpredictable market. But actually the best thing that you should really do is not to make yourself that too much in stress
on trying to chase or make a certain price to happen in a particular schedule or date, because on the time or moment that you do make yourself having this kind of behavior and turned out that the price wont really be able to get along on what you had predicted, then it will really be bringing out that kind of disappointment.

We should just bare in mind that we are still in the post halving year, and that is enough for us to be very bullish as this point, specially this month. I'm only on the thoughts tha there are a lot of things that is going upon the world, the geo-politics that really not just affected the Bitcoin market, but the whole financial in general.

So let's see, as for me, it might not be $100,000 in the next 3 months, but at least a price that we are going to look as if we are in a bull run, maybe a new all time high between $73,000-$83,000 might be a good end of the year price for us. So something might start for this month. And as you could see, the price is slowly getting up again to $62,000 at the start of the 2nd week.

September this year is considered to be the best September ever, it is not bad at all and can be said to have broken the September curse for bitcoin. Not to mention, Bitcoin hit an ATH before the halving and this has never happened in the past. So it cannot be said that bitcoin is still repeating its own history, some things have changed and we need to adapt to that change.

But for me, a little change is understandable because things will change over time, because each year will have a different impact on the market, we cannot ask bitcoin to always repeat exactly to every detail. And as you said, October is not over yet so we can't draw any conclusions yet, let's wait and see how things turn out. It's possible, we don't need experts to tell us that, if you look at the the chart and zoom it in, there is a big possibility that we might hit $100k next year 2025. And there is also this big possibility as well that we might reach $85k at the end of the year.

We have the US election next year, and this could be one positive news that will push the price to a new all time high. What we need is more patience, as we all wanted to see that price as early as this time. Bitcoin reaching $100k will depend on so many factors. I think peace in the Middle East will help push the price high. But if the conflict escalates, it will affect oil production, which will lead to an increase in price. Hitting the stated price will also be possible if the US Feds keep cutting interest rates in their subsequent meetings. Its never been easy to predict the price on the first place because if we've been trying out to look the communities mindset or assumptions few days ago when the price is starting to climb up. They do already have those assumptions that the price might be able to break or touch up $70k, but look at on where we are now? We are down below 60k again and i havent checked out on what are the news that mainly affected it.

This is why it would really be that ideal that you shouldn't really be that making yourself that way too positive or hurrying up yourself with those high numbers because on the time or moment
you will really be having those kind of thinking and the the market would really be having these drops then you would be finding yourself that getting disappointed.

If we do really tend to check the drop % then it will really be making 3-5% on a single day or even more but this one turned out to be just like an ordinary day here on crypto space.

It is possible but again just as I have said on other related threads discussing this same issue is that we do not have the momentum to make this happen this year. $100,000 is not a small target and it needs something to make the market starts moving up which we can get from the outcome of the election but I still strongly think anything that has to do with $100,000 has to be next year. Why I think it will be next year is because $100,000 might be the highest price for this bull market. I do not want this to happen because I want higher figures but we do not know what the market has for us therefore having the highest price for the bull market happening in 2024 when we still have one full year is somehow odd, that is why I believe we should be expecting that price next year 2025 and not this year.

And now the price goes down again, below $60k, and that is a bad sign in my opinion. We should at least maintain and sustain that $60k price so that investors are still in the middle, but right now, it seems that they are really bearish on the market. So it's going to be very hard to see at that magical 6 digits at the end of the year. Although the US election might be one factor that could tip the price to that level, but everything is still up in the air, as it could be a pro-crypto or a hard line stance US President that might get elected.

Although I will go and tend to believed that regardless of the outcome of the US president, Bitcoin will continue to thrived and go on a massive bull run next year. So still a long way to go, short term, we might not hit $100k, but if you look at the bigger picture, still possible in 2025. Are we supposed to be expecting new All Time High this year? I think we have achieved that some months after halving, which is currently around $73k, and I am not expecting any extraordinary pump within this year again; in fact, I am expecting some bearish periods, which usually come at the end of every year. I will only expect the Bitcoin price to go above $85k next year, maybe early, and I think we might attain the $100k expectation if everything goes well next year because we should expect some pump some months after halving, which I think will happen next year, but for now, the price of Bitcoin keeps fluctuating around $58-65k within the last two months, which to me is a sign that we should accumulate more Bitcoin if we have money to invest because next year might be too late to invest once the price skyrocketed, unless people are using the DCA method to buy Bitcoin at anytime and at any amount.

this one align with what I think seeing the chart of BTC, price always swings, following the descending channel pattern, we'll talk about BTC reaching $100k once we break through.
if i'm being honest, market cap of BTC is already quite big, so a delay in reaching ATH is kinda normal, money need to come from somewhere else and usually BTC could get massive rally when there's right narrative and the retailer are also FOMO.
but overall none of that happening right now, maybe in 2025 we will see something different, but I'm kinda pessimistic to the idea of BTC reaching $100k in just 3 months.

Anything can happen who knows, it’s Bitcoin. It would sure be sick if it did hit 100k for a nice little Christmas present. I think there could be a chance that it does
