So localcoinswap is now a KYC exchange? Unbelievable. Noone exchange is expected to be a KYC exchange. It is easy to know from Paxful. The founder will want it to be similar to Paxful.

You should go through many exchanges listed on https://kycnot.me/. Most of the exchanges are supporting monero and they are also P2P exchanges. On many of them you should be able to convert monero to fiat and fiat to monero without KYC.

It’s sad what happened with XMR. It really is a great coin which does everything that it promises. It’s a brilliant privacy coin but its strength is ultimately what has proven to be its downfall. Governments hate it & unlike with Bitcoin & Ethereum, they will never embrace it, it won’t be allowed to go mainstream. Regulation has killed any chance XMR had to go mainstream.

Options will be limited to Bisq, Robosats and Haveno, and your location will determine whether or not you can buy XMR with cash, as some areas will have more offers than others, so be prepared to travel to the town closest to you.

One still has to use the service with caution because their past hasn't been so transparent. Up to now, I am still not sure if their intentions are really genuine.

Maybe some better options here - https://kycnot.me/?categories=exchange&currency-mode=or&currencies=xmr&currencies=fiat. I can't pinpoint a single service.
