A few years ago, the US government had to fine some celebrities for promoting scam projects. These influencers are just after your money and nothing else. They even go as far as conniving with the creators of these scam projects to defraud the people. They will later claim that they are not affiliated with the scam company.
November last year, some group of investors filed a lawsuit against Cristiana Ronaldo for promoting an NFT from Binance, which most of them invested heavily in Cristiano Ronaldo sued for $1 billion after promoting NFTs from crypto exchange Binance

Sometimes some of the influencers are just doing their job as ambassadors to the project, and they sometimes make it very clear that they are not part of the project. Investors should invest wisely, but some investors, out of the love they have for the person, might not even want to think about the project; they will just invest as long as it's being promoted by their favourite celebrity.

And I love the fact that the us government have a disciplinary action on those that are misleading people just because they know that what ever they bring people will want to follow but if they see that people are held accountable for misleading people will actually learn, people love content makers but they are selfish and they will only promote when it is beneficial regardless of the project.

Quote
Most of these content makers don't have any knowledge or experience in the crypto industry, so listening to and applying the advice they give is risky.  Engaging in intensive research is not non-negotiable because scam projects have been on the increase and they are getting more sophisticated. It is not bad to hear or learn from people who know the crypto industry, but be sure to verify everything you were taught.

Majority of them have zero knowledge but most of this ideas are given to them by people and they see as a way of making money out of people which is very wrong but do they really care about how the people feel about when things go wrong. Just that issues like this depends on the country and how tight they are if not you won't promote a scam project and go Scott free. So that you don't do it next time. Only few influencers know about crypto and those once are dedicated to make crypto contents.

Some of this crypto content makers are after profit and not really building a community because  initially I thought once you see a crypto project and you go to their Twitter page check their following, check their content, check big accounts that are backing them and you see updates then you are good to go.  But over time I got to understand that some of this project can buy accounts, pay big accounts to sell out their projects and some of these projects use those accounts that already have large followings for whatever scam they want to execute and some of the big accounts following this project are paid to promote them so whatever they put out to get the traction the project needs and they get their money is what they do.

Just know that it's not about big accounts it's not about content, you need to pay attention to white papers details, you need to pay attention to the pattern if they are really sincere about what they say. Don't trust the information you see on these crypto content creators' accounts because some of them are being paid to back up a project just so it gets people to participate in the project.

So we must really be careful about these scam projects, don't let the rush for quick money or destination to cash out big cause you to fall for scam. Invest in only what you know and trust so you will not lose your hard-earned money to them, the economy is already hard enough to insure losses.
To be honest, not some of them but all of them are after making money from their content. They only say what will be pleasing in the ears of the community not something that could possibly help the community. Only few are willing to share useful informations regardless of them hunting for subscribers and money. If you are referring toc crypto projects most of their account are bought and their followers are fake. What they do is that they come to the forum here find one of the easiest and cheapest managers to do a campagin for them so that all the bounty hunters can share fake news online. This is the main reason why these projects are willing to allocate more of their shitcoins to video influencers, and signature wearing.

Sometimes not even whitepaper can help us because these days many projects plagiarized some whitepapers on the internet, with fake founders and tone allocations. The best possible way to identify a scam project is to make through research on the internet about such projects and inspect their code.

Situation like that would open up our minds that we should be vigilant dealing with anything promoted by personalities. Since even if they are famous individual for sure that they don't know what they are dealing for since at the end these people is going after for the money paid to them and they don't really care about the people put some money on those projects.

Financial literacy is always import and we can achieve that if we do a lot of research especially for verifying if the NFT or project is really good.

What also great reminder here is we should not always go with the hype since this will put us in huge risk. I know some may think that its fine because they are risk taker but they also make sure to sell when they are in profit since if they hold to much losing will provably follow especially if the hype with those project starting to collapsed or fade out.

At first I will say most crypto content makers are doing a great  work keeping users updated, especially those content makers from X (formally known as twitter) . But they are some that are still misleading users especially newbies, especially in this telegram mini apps season, ever since $Not got listed and alot of users who farmed it , endup with some good reward, which have on boarded alot of users to this space .

Well days back I came across a Crypto content maker advising folks to invest in a certain shitcoin from tg mini apps that got listed ,  a project without any good potential, project that let their community down , and now the coin as dip massively and I believe alot of folks got reckt in the process. One thing you guys need to know is that most of this so called Crypto content makers on social media are only interested on your reaction and stuff, most of them don't have the proper knowledge about this space , so be careful at there.

Is not bad to do airdrops but always participate in it with caution,  And don't forget to always DYOR ,  And if you want to invest, you can invest on bitcoin to be in a safer side , because most projects at there are pump and dump.

So work on your get rich quick mentality, take your time and learn , gather good knowledge, this space is not all about tap-to-earn alone there are more to it than that .
Most newbies follows some content creator since they are making a lot of money on their videos , but some are just using the platform to get subscribers and also lots of referrals for some their bounties, and they don't even realize that it is happening, follow those who are just explains what are the trends on crypto and also give recommendation not those who have lots of referrals on their page, they are just riding the waves and collecting followers for it, but its not bad on the other hand just make sure you learn something not just clicking their links.

But sometimes i imagine if all these content makers no longer care about their reputation just because of what they stand to gain by promoting scam sites and scam projects. They don't care about the number of their fans and followers they will mislead and make them lose their money just because they trusted them so much. If i was to be a famous content maker and i have a lot of fans and followers, i will never engage in promoting any project that is not worthy of enticing people to invest their money in it because if you do that and people lose their money it's gonna tarnish your reputation and decrease the numbers of fans and followers you've got.

One thing i find out why most people falls so easily for scam projects being advertised by content makers is due to FOMO, they want to be the first when a particular project is launched without making out time to do their own research thoroughly before they invest or not. Well telegram crypto games are just here for the time being, soon all of them will all fade away so it's better to pay good attention to good projects and not some hype coins all in the name of shitcoins that can't even withstand the pressure in the crypto market.

Yes you are right sadly most online content creators care more about making money than helping their audience. They say what is popular instead of sharing useful ideas. It is hard to find creators who share valuable content without thinking about getting more subscribers and money. Crypto world has big problem with fake accounts and paid followers. Projects mostly use cheap advertising to spread false information. To avoid being tricked by scam projects it is crucial to do research and check project code. Even official documents can be copied and leaders might be fake. Checking if project is legitimate requires careful investigation and fact checking.

It is also difficult to detect the defense of newly born coins/tokens and quickly listed on certain exchanges, this is because currently the number is increasing day by day after their campaign and I have a feeling that it will be clearly visible over time.

Yes. we will see together whether they will also be affected by Delisting from the exchange because their value will continue to fall and decline. However, it is unfortunate that many users will suffer repeated losses if they happen to buy even though the price is very cheap.
