A few years ago, the US government had to fine some celebrities for promoting scam projects. These influencers are just after your money and nothing else. They even go as far as conniving with the creators of these scam projects to defraud the people. They will later claim that they are not affiliated with the scam company.
November last year, some group of investors filed a lawsuit against Cristiana Ronaldo for promoting an NFT from Binance, which most of them invested heavily in Cristiano Ronaldo sued for $1 billion after promoting NFTs from crypto exchange Binance

Sometimes some of the influencers are just doing their job as ambassadors to the project, and they sometimes make it very clear that they are not part of the project. Investors should invest wisely, but some investors, out of the love they have for the person, might not even want to think about the project; they will just invest as long as it's being promoted by their favourite celebrity.

And I love the fact that the us government have a disciplinary action on those that are misleading people just because they know that what ever they bring people will want to follow but if they see that people are held accountable for misleading people will actually learn, people love content makers but they are selfish and they will only promote when it is beneficial regardless of the project.

Quote
Most of these content makers don't have any knowledge or experience in the crypto industry, so listening to and applying the advice they give is risky.  Engaging in intensive research is not non-negotiable because scam projects have been on the increase and they are getting more sophisticated. It is not bad to hear or learn from people who know the crypto industry, but be sure to verify everything you were taught.

Majority of them have zero knowledge but most of this ideas are given to them by people and they see as a way of making money out of people which is very wrong but do they really care about how the people feel about when things go wrong. Just that issues like this depends on the country and how tight they are if not you won't promote a scam project and go Scott free. So that you don't do it next time. Only few influencers know about crypto and those once are dedicated to make crypto contents.

Some of this crypto content makers are after profit and not really building a community because  initially I thought once you see a crypto project and you go to their Twitter page check their following, check their content, check big accounts that are backing them and you see updates then you are good to go.  But over time I got to understand that some of this project can buy accounts, pay big accounts to sell out their projects and some of these projects use those accounts that already have large followings for whatever scam they want to execute and some of the big accounts following this project are paid to promote them so whatever they put out to get the traction the project needs and they get their money is what they do.

Just know that it's not about big accounts it's not about content, you need to pay attention to white papers details, you need to pay attention to the pattern if they are really sincere about what they say. Don't trust the information you see on these crypto content creators' accounts because some of them are being paid to back up a project just so it gets people to participate in the project.

So we must really be careful about these scam projects, don't let the rush for quick money or destination to cash out big cause you to fall for scam. Invest in only what you know and trust so you will not lose your hard-earned money to them, the economy is already hard enough to insure losses.
To be honest, not some of them but all of them are after making money from their content. They only say what will be pleasing in the ears of the community not something that could possibly help the community. Only few are willing to share useful informations regardless of them hunting for subscribers and money. If you are referring toc crypto projects most of their account are bought and their followers are fake. What they do is that they come to the forum here find one of the easiest and cheapest managers to do a campagin for them so that all the bounty hunters can share fake news online. This is the main reason why these projects are willing to allocate more of their shitcoins to video influencers, and signature wearing.

Sometimes not even whitepaper can help us because these days many projects plagiarized some whitepapers on the internet, with fake founders and tone allocations. The best possible way to identify a scam project is to make through research on the internet about such projects and inspect their code.

Situation like that would open up our minds that we should be vigilant dealing with anything promoted by personalities. Since even if they are famous individual for sure that they don't know what they are dealing for since at the end these people is going after for the money paid to them and they don't really care about the people put some money on those projects.

Financial literacy is always import and we can achieve that if we do a lot of research especially for verifying if the NFT or project is really good.

What also great reminder here is we should not always go with the hype since this will put us in huge risk. I know some may think that its fine because they are risk taker but they also make sure to sell when they are in profit since if they hold to much losing will provably follow especially if the hype with those project starting to collapsed or fade out.

At first I will say most crypto content makers are doing a great  work keeping users updated, especially those content makers from X (formally known as twitter) . But they are some that are still misleading users especially newbies, especially in this telegram mini apps season, ever since $Not got listed and alot of users who farmed it , endup with some good reward, which have on boarded alot of users to this space .

Well days back I came across a Crypto content maker advising folks to invest in a certain shitcoin from tg mini apps that got listed ,  a project without any good potential, project that let their community down , and now the coin as dip massively and I believe alot of folks got reckt in the process. One thing you guys need to know is that most of this so called Crypto content makers on social media are only interested on your reaction and stuff, most of them don't have the proper knowledge about this space , so be careful at there.

Is not bad to do airdrops but always participate in it with caution,  And don't forget to always DYOR ,  And if you want to invest, you can invest on bitcoin to be in a safer side , because most projects at there are pump and dump.

So work on your get rich quick mentality, take your time and learn , gather good knowledge, this space is not all about tap-to-earn alone there are more to it than that .
Most newbies follows some content creator since they are making a lot of money on their videos , but some are just using the platform to get subscribers and also lots of referrals for some their bounties, and they don't even realize that it is happening, follow those who are just explains what are the trends on crypto and also give recommendation not those who have lots of referrals on their page, they are just riding the waves and collecting followers for it, but its not bad on the other hand just make sure you learn something not just clicking their links.

But sometimes i imagine if all these content makers no longer care about their reputation just because of what they stand to gain by promoting scam sites and scam projects. They don't care about the number of their fans and followers they will mislead and make them lose their money just because they trusted them so much. If i was to be a famous content maker and i have a lot of fans and followers, i will never engage in promoting any project that is not worthy of enticing people to invest their money in it because if you do that and people lose their money it's gonna tarnish your reputation and decrease the numbers of fans and followers you've got.

One thing i find out why most people falls so easily for scam projects being advertised by content makers is due to FOMO, they want to be the first when a particular project is launched without making out time to do their own research thoroughly before they invest or not. Well telegram crypto games are just here for the time being, soon all of them will all fade away so it's better to pay good attention to good projects and not some hype coins all in the name of shitcoins that can't even withstand the pressure in the crypto market.

Yes you are right sadly most online content creators care more about making money than helping their audience. They say what is popular instead of sharing useful ideas. It is hard to find creators who share valuable content without thinking about getting more subscribers and money. Crypto world has big problem with fake accounts and paid followers. Projects mostly use cheap advertising to spread false information. To avoid being tricked by scam projects it is crucial to do research and check project code. Even official documents can be copied and leaders might be fake. Checking if project is legitimate requires careful investigation and fact checking.

It is also difficult to detect the defense of newly born coins/tokens and quickly listed on certain exchanges, this is because currently the number is increasing day by day after their campaign and I have a feeling that it will be clearly visible over time.

Yes. we will see together whether they will also be affected by Delisting from the exchange because their value will continue to fall and decline. However, it is unfortunate that many users will suffer repeated losses if they happen to buy even though the price is very cheap.

If anyone finds this forum in their early days, they are lucky to discover millions of truth about bitcoins . You see those content creators or influencer to say, are been paid to do their job, so they are working for money and they do not really care about their followers, even if they do, they do that after they have posted wrong info then returning to beg them that they are sorry after they have mad a lot of people loose money to wrong project.

Sometimes this influencers are part of this  project and they use the opportunity they make it known to their innocent community.

Well I do think people do fall victim of their trick because they are just too curious to make money which is born out of greed

You don't crypto content makers and alt/shitcoin shillers if you only use bitcoin. You wouldn't need them unless you thought you were late to the bitcoin party and what you are left with is finding a new bitcoin. The truth is, there will never be a new bitcoin because the coins that have come out after it were created for selfish reasons: make a small community of developers and team members rich on your expense.

Thousands of coins have come and died since bitcoin hit the scene. 1/2 altcoins have died or will die in the future. In the meantime, bitcoin keeps going strong and gains more and more attention by everyone.

Content creators are business people that will promote anything for a price, to most of them it doesn't matter if the project is a scam, as far as they are getting paid. If most newbies in the crypto space knows this they will not be in a hurry to believe everything that they hear. Bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency that you don't need to DYOR before you buy it and it doesn't promise you unrealistic returns on the short term, that is to show that most new projects are launched to scam people with their unrealistic promises of huge returns. I personally take what I hear from content makers as information on trending topics but I will not put my money in anything that they say until I do my research and even if I must risk my money on any cryptocurrency that is not Bitcoin it must be a small amount that I can afford to loose.

I find it difficult believing people still fall for this, we hear different issues having same storyline yet people refuse to take correction from others mistake. I will not blame those content creators because they do all that for the love of money misleading newbies including full time investors, what’s more beneficial is when they get the streams beyond their expectation still they care less about viewers. People should grow up mostly newbies who want a long term investment should go for bitcoin because it’s reliable. Content creators teach about bitcoin correctly but, the moment the discussion is changed teaching when to buy, the right coin to buy in due season I’m sure the person is just creating a false narrative. From my observation I believe little scam projects work hand to hand with content creators just to market their fake project, with the way they get to discover newly launch coins and start advertising needs to be studied.

I was on X on Tuesday which happened to be 8 of October and they were all ranting about the last one they did, the ticket name is CATS and I think that is the worst of all airdrop they have done so far, the influencers were also paid and the highest money they made from the mini tap game was $300, despite paying huge amount of tons for transaction, they didn't make much money and for that many of them has concluded that airdrop is dead and I was just laughing reading the comments.

I think the bull run many people expected and never had is making them go through a lot of things and doing anything to make money because most of the alts aren't moving. Even the memes aren't longer paying the bills and it's pathetic how people are just creating animal names just to pump their bags, some of the content creators hunt each same traps.

Most of those content creators you see only first start with sharing useful information to gather the audience that they need, and when they have that audience, their target now is not just on the click and the view.

But rather on deals with those projects they get paid more to spread lies and promote scam projects than the payment they receive on engagement, which is why believing everything they say it's at the person's risk, all I do is pick a few pieces of information that's worth it and do my own research. I don't invest in airdrop projects to start with myself.
It has always been deals with crypto projects from the beginning especially those that shill particular token or coin. Their motivation is just the money and how they will get the money is where their loyalty lies and not what happens to those who consume their content. In bounty campaign in the Altcoins section, content creation is one of their key component. It require users to make nice reviews of the projects and get paid in return. As you know, they will always say  nice things about the project, even those that were setup as scam from the beginning. It is important that every investor must be able to do his personal research about where his funds will be invested into and not rely on what others say.

But to bad its still happening. Not everyone have due diligence to research what those crypto content makers shown to them since some people have this lazy attitude where they just believe on what those guys said since what they only know is they can earn money with the projects promoted by those scam influencers.

If they would just do a background search of those content creator provably they would know if they are for real learnings or just a total shill which promote what project could give those content creator lots of income.

We have certain indicators that those crypto content maker is not good to follow.

Always say that you can earn big with this project and show something to good to be true like big cash flow to come if you go with them.
They are not transparent towards the risk what people might encounter.
Also if they have track records promoting scams.

if they see this indicator they better avoid watching their videos.

There are some genuine content creators that have compassion to their viewers. But the majority of them is like that. They wouldn't mind promoting projects and information to mislead a lot of people, newbies and not. They should be more careful in what they promote and just like what we're saying, they also need to DYOR. Because it's not only for themselves sake but also in protection of their viewers only if this is what's on their mind. And as we've said, not all of them really are concern to their fan/viewers because it's vulgar and not a secret that they're all for money.

It is not even entirely the fault of the people who create these contents, i blame the people who invest in projects such as these, they should know that it is either you are extremely lucky and you make some money from them or you get burnt; that's why they are called pump and dump coins. The projects that pumped didn't do so because they had any potential, it was just because of the hype, so you can't blame the influencers when the next project didn't generate enough hype for it to pump.

To some extent, I won't blame those influencers but I will blame those who blindly follow them to invest in whatever the influencers shill for them. After all DYOR that we've been hearing for a very long time now, I don't think people will still take financial advice from so call influencers. These influencers in twitter per se are mostly recruited by the project team to help them in marketing and they are strictly doing such for their own interests either to get referral or engagement benefits. It's not ideal to follow random influencers online for financial decisions, you're likely to regret in the end. Crypto space is wide enough to accommodate everyone that you don't need to rush and forget doing your own research.

Do you know what influences do? They get paid for projects to get promoted on their pages, they can be sued if they don’t do that after collecting payment to help advertise a project. Now this influencers are sometimes the more reason why newbies fall into scam projects and losing lots of money, especially those ones that are not ready to learn and do their own research before taking on investments. Some influencers do take their time to go on a research on projects they want to promote in order not to mislead their followers into having high hopes or investing in projects that won’t make them any gain.

Those type of influencers are the real OG’s that should be reliant on their informations and projects they bring forth to their communities to engage in. As there are plenty of influencers that mislead their followers for their selfish gains, a few of them that are established don’t joke with that and so the needful before bringing a project for their community to follow. The crypto space still remains a DYOR place and all and sundry shouldn’t joke with that statement always.

It is very possible that they don't have any interest in the shitcoins that they're promoting. They're paid to do that so they just have to stomach in with the advertisement and contents that they're doing about it. Trying to convince the viewers that they have even though behind their minds, they shouldn't be doing that and they're bringing more people into the pit of malice. While the researchers, they don't have issue with it because they will know if the content creators are lying to their audience and just have to let that video pass on with that type of advertisement.
