What do you think could be the main reason people care or don't care about prices of products/services while making purchases? You think it's due to economic status, are there other reasons you can think of?
 Most times I would not be too bothered about the price of products if I think they're worth it, or if I think that's actual price of the product, whether I can easily afford the price or not.  And I often times price things quite low when I'm not sure about the real price or the true worth/value, hoping to get the sellers bring them lower down to their actual worth. Some sellers tend to move things up too high if they think they are uncommon and attractive, or the buyers are rich. Once I suspect this kind of sellers I either bargain hard, tell them I'm not too rich or check somewhere else where I will try to appear not-too-rich or pretend to be already familiar with the products

Everyone should be careful with their money really. You'll find that it is a common trait with the richest people to spend wisely because you never know what will happen tomorrow. We are bombarded by advertising every day and especially when you're younger it can be easy to fall under it's spell. In the age of influencers and streamers, they'll often be pushing products on you subtly and you might not even know that they're getting paid for it. It is a skill that you will only pick up from time and experience, learning where it is possible to go a bit cheaper on a product while getting a similar quality. A lot of brands these days are built on hype and don't necessarily deliver a higher quality good or service. However, you'll also learn over time when it is good to treat yourself or indulge in luxury.

I don't bargain, unless someone approaches me with an offer, or I'm looking for a contractor. Contractors often get paid a lot and they have large margins because they expect you to argue about the price. It's the same when you buy a used car, sellers usually are ready to lower the price by 5% if you can reasonably explain your motives.

It's not about zh country, there's no country where goods and services aren't bargained for between the buyer and seller. It's all contingent on where you went to purchase whatever product or service because there are stores where you don't bargain prices it's already there base on the standard they have kept and they assume that for an individual to walk into their space then it's someone up to that standard.

But on the streets you can virtually bargain prices and it's so annoying that same people that goes into those high standard stores and centers purchasing items without bargaining on the price, but when the come to the street to get those same items that's where you see them show their bargain talent and skills.

How urgently I need what I'm buying, and the quantity of the thing adding together with the total worth will determine what length I can go to know the exact amount I will buy it.
 
If it's just for products that aren't worth much, I don't pay much attention to it, but if it's for goods that I want to use for something important and lasting, like household appliances or building materials, I don't mind moving from shop to shop, way house to house, just to get who can give me the best price.

Before, I don't care at all. But whenever I purchase it and I know that there are some other shops where I can buy a product, I compare their prices most times. It's a wise thing to do before making any purchase. And I have noticed recently that most of the products and services have already increased by 5%-10% from their original price. That's because of the economic status that everyone is experiencing and we're all affected by it. If the shop owner or store staff is allowed do accept bargains, I would do that and it also depends on the shop where you're going to negotiate because if they're renting the area, it's not a guaranteed that I can bargain so I look for other stores and compare their prices.

Bargaining is part of business, and I bargained, of course, to get the best prizes, because buying a product or commodity at the best price possible gives you a sort of extra joy; likewise, buying a certain commodity or paying for a product with an extra cost gives you the feeling that you were cheated when you later get to find out that you could have gotten it at a cheaper rate. Individuals who bargain are financially conscious and may be doing it because they are on the strict budget.

I think it depends on where you are buying the goods, if is in an open market where you are allowed to negotiate the price, then you have the freewill to bargain the price from shop to shop checking for a favourable price, but if it's in a mall where there is a price tag placed on each goods or product, then you wouldn't have the opportunity to negotiate the price. However most people because of their financial background, they don't find the need to check on the price tag on some goods, they just go and pack whatever they want and go to the counter or pay points and make payment, while others would have to check at their budget before they can start any purchase, so it all depends on which of the classes you'll find yourself.

Anyone who just buys something without knowing the market price is a sucker. Sure, some people might be rich and do not care about price tags, but that only makes them rich suckers in my eyes.

I do both, unless a person is rich already we know how difficult it can be to earn a living, so I make sure to try to get as much as I can for the lowest price possible, because not doing so will only make things harder for myself down the line, now I do not go overboard with this just to try to save a few cents or anything like that, however I have saved a lot of money by simply being mindful about my purchases and waiting for a discount on the items that I want, money which I invested in bitcoin and that it has grown through the years.

 When I go to make a purchase for a good, I usually base my staying to buy from the first shop I get to on manner of approach. Sometimes, the first person I meet may have their goods on the high side but I won't be bothered because the environment is welcoming but I may still go out to check other places just to satisfy my curiosity. Some people prefer to compare prices so they can know the current cost of things while others prefer to bargain with an amount they have already forgetting that prices of goods skyrocket everyday.
 It's crazy how things are being so expensive and sometimes, when you leave a shop to go and compare prices, you would find that the first or second shop sells their goods a bit cheaply but when you want to come back to make purchases, they will increase it and tell you they have confirmed prices and that's why they had to up the price. So usually, some will just buy in the first place they get to, believing that it's like a uniform price everywhere.

It all comes down to economic status. People who grew up not so rich would want to spend as little money as possible. In my country we even ask for discounts as long as we can lol. I think no matter how rich I get, I would still continue to explore prices and check if I can get the same product or services at a cheaper price. You would find that some are even cheaper even if they have the same quality as the more expensive one.

If I really need to buy it and there is no other cheaper option then I will just buy it. But I will not just buy it without even checking other stores or platforms. If I have the chance to buy something cheaper then I will find that chance. It is not being too cheap it is just being smart about my money.

When I buy something simple I don't worry too much about it. But when I have to plan to make a big purchase, I try to be well aware of the product and service before making the purchase. I definitely compare prices. Especially when purchasing large quantities or items where I know prices can vary greatly, for me it's more about getting the best value for my money than just the lowest price. I think a lot of people compare prices. It's not just because of the economic situation. But they also compare prices for personal gain or satisfaction.

It's interesting how some thought haggling could be the way of purchasing. Especially in markets or places where prices are not set, others did not bother so much because it's convenient for them. This is essentially absolutely true as far as I can tell because cultural backgrounds play a tremendous role in whether or not people want to enter into a contract or not. A negotiation in some countries cannot be carried out effectively due to price uncertainty. On the other hand, in other countries, fixed prices are more predominant and credible. Personally speaking, I find you likable and never compromise on daily purchases for sure. I like to shop in stores or places where I can be sure about the price. And that they would not have extra intentions to cheat at the cost from the seller.

As you've said, if I'm buying in bulk, I should know ahead of time. I check the product, read reviews, and sometimes ask, if there's some kind of discount on it. Negotiation, though? No way. Work can be uncomfortable or uncomfortable. Especially where you don't live.

I have recognized one thing - that's the online price comparison tools that shopping through the Internet on will be much easier for you to know that you are receiving a fair price for your purchase.

For expensive things like a car, yes. For day-to-day things, usually, no. Many years ago I used to do it, but now that my economic situation has improved a lot, I buy what I like the most and that's it. I don't like to wasting my time, for daily spending I don't care with how much I paid, but I do buy it from different place in order to know the most worthy one. After I found it, I will stick with that seller over and over.

If I want to buy cellphone or car, I will browse how much people sold in online marketplace, if in offline store they charge too much, I will move from one to another store in order to find the cheapest one.

If I am buying electronics like a new TV or computer, I will usually wait until there is a sale. There are always big events like Black Friday or Prime Day on Amazon where you can find some really good deals. For Apple products I have used the Education store to get a discount. market survey is very necessary when you're out to get goods that are of a negotiable nature. It's not out of place to try and see what other shops sells the goods before making your final decision. Chances are that you could meet the first buyer who will give you the best rate but you still have to check out other sources to be sure of this. You know you can't tagg a particular seller to be a bad person just because his price is quite expensive. There are a lot of factors that could make his price more expensive than that others ranging from the price of the goods at the time he bought his or his believe that his goods is of a higher quality.

Some sellers are also prone to giving different prices to different set of people, this is also understandable because they are business people that are out to make profit. The only thing is that if it's an item you could get to know the correct price online before going out to source for it, you could first of all go check out the price and then you can go and if a price tallies with what you have in mind, there wouldn't be a need to check out somany stores but in general, checking out prices and the quality of goods from different stores before eventually buying is the best way of getting quality product.

The reason some people care about the price of a product before purchase, is that, they don't want to be cheated in that particular products than to bargain with the seller before purchasing, secondly, they don't want to wast their money on few products than to approach the seller to bargain to his satisfaction.
