If you can't resist to loss in trading, it means trading isn't for you.

Not everyone can become trader because not all people can predict the bottom and the top, if everyone know the bottom and the top, everyone would be rich. But, this is impossible because in economic it's always zero sum game, if you make money, it means there's someone who lose.

The only challenging part is how you will apply it and how you master it. Trading is extremely difficult especially there is already emotion involve and your hard earned money already.
Newbie traders can start trading with carefulness but with time, and in a bull market time means profit comes easily, they will become more carelessly in trading. It's time for emotional trading decisions and nightmare with big losses come from here.

If you can't resist to loss in trading, it means trading isn't for you.
Agree with you on this because fact is, trading is not suitable for everyone and very minority of traders can get profit in long term trading.

Is day trading profitable?
Quote
Depending on the source, only around 5% to 20% of day traders consistently make money. That means that up to 95% fail and lose money by day trading.

What proportion of day traders find themselves profitable?
Quote
Approximately 1–20% of day traders actually profit from their endeavors. Exceptionally few day traders ever generate returns that are even close to worthwhile. This means that between 80 and 99 percent of them fail.

Quote
Not everyone can become trader because not all people can predict the bottom and the top, if everyone know the bottom and the top, everyone would be rich. But, this is impossible because in economic it's always zero sum game, if you make money, it means there's someone who lose.
When they see figures on percentage of profitable traders, they will quit trading, or prepare more in knowledge, psychology for their trading and surely will trade more carefully. If they know this fact and feel like they can not have these vital things for trading, they should stop trading immediately.

Man, I’ve been feeling like I’m just spinning my wheels lately with trading. Every time I think I’m making a solid move, something unexpected hits, and I end up covering losses instead of stacking wins. It’s getting to the point where I’m questioning if I should even keep going. Like, what’s the play here when you’re stuck in this cycle of two steps forward, three steps back?

It feels like I’m missing out on some strategy or opportunity that others seem to know about. I’m not looking for a magic fix or anything, but if there’s something that can at least help balance out the losses without feeling like I’m gambling every time, I’d jump on it. Maybe I’m overlooking something simple.

I understand how frustrating it can be to feel stuck in trading—I've been there too. It's important to remember that even the most experienced traders face setbacks.

One idea to consider is joining events like the These. Bitget double your profits. It offer a chance to test your skills, learn from others, and possibly win significant prizes. While not a guaranteed solution, they can give you fresh perspectives and connect you with other traders for support and advice.

Remember, trading is a long-term game. Stay disciplined, keep learning, and don’t let short-term setbacks discourage you.

Maybe it would be better to step away from trading for a while? Your trading strategy might be getting emotionally sabotaged by yourself. After a few bad trades you can start trading irrationally without even really realizing it in the first place.

Not everyone can become trader because not all people can predict the bottom and the top, if everyone know the bottom and the top, everyone would be rich. But, this is impossible because in economic it's always zero sum game, if you make money, it means there's someone who lose.

The goes to any kind of investment really. If you like an asset when you bought it from a certain price and you hate it as it goes lower, unless there are some really bad fundamental changes in the asset (like bad earnings, shitty management etc), you are doing it wrong. "If you like x at $yyy, you will love it at $yy." Should be the motto of any investor out there.

Trading on the other hand is a whole different thing because people usually don't care about the asset's intrinsic value which they are trading. As long as it has a chart, these people don't really care what the asset is. They would trade pig shit if there was a market for it and they won't ask a question. I don't really understand their mindset but as long as they are making money who am I to question their ways of making money right?

Almost all traders experience this, periods when they feel like they are stuck. This period is usually characterized by many losses, giving the clear evidence that there may be something wrong with your strategy or you are doing something wrong with the market. That the best way to really settle down and get things right during this time when every trader hits a trading block and have that's feeling of being stuck, is to take time away from trading and give yourself a break. A break can greatly help, it will give you time to think of the market from outside the market, not thinking about the market while you are in the market.

This is the feeling of many challenged traders, they think they are missing out on something but it is always beyond that and they will continue to lose if care is not taken. I wouldn't advise you to continue to push it and lose but I like to tell you to try this method, and you might reconsider trading if it fails instead of losing your money.

Take a break from trading to ponder on all your faults and weaknesses. On your resumption, work on how you fight to win the weaknesses and train to maximize the strength. Above all, ensure that you have the winning trading system and let your risk management be the kind that is dependable even as you work on your emotions.

You feel like you're gambling when you're trading because you aren't doing it correctly. Do you just start trading without any previous research or reading of the market. Most newbies make this mistake and this is the main cause of their losing. Trading isn't easy but a difficult thing to do although as you get the strategy currently, trading become easy for you while others that haven't leant still find it difficult. When you're getting consistent losses, get some rest buddy because our brains need it alot. We lose when we're not focused and we have other things disturbing our minds. You can't cheat trading, if you don't know it you can't make profits. You'll get some few newbies luck and win some early-ish trades but that's about it.

You should definitely study a risk management strategy that you can use to reduce losses in trading. Of course, studying alone will not be enough for this, it will take efforts from you to clearly adhere to this strategy.

I do that. My mentor used to say, not trading is actually a strategy..could you believe that?? Ahah.

You've given good advice. But the Bitget event is something only a clear headed person could participate in. But OP could try, who knows there might be breakthrough ahah.. I might also consider if I've got the time..

Probably taking a break, like a long long break, a month or two at the very least if not more is the way to go at the first step of the way. But what to do when you take this break, should you stay away from trading completely? Of course not, the only thing you would benefit from taking a break without trading, would be learning about it and getting better at it.

So, what you should do, is check your mistakes, learn what went wrong, if you can see what went wrong in technical analysis then you are good to go, but if you were great at it right now then you would be losing this much, meaning you do not know yet and you should study. After you reach a point where you can see your current mistakes, then you will become good enough to start trading back again.

However, I would say taking a complete break for a week or even two would be still fine, this way you will have zero trading in your life for two weeks, then study trading for 2 months, then start back trading after that's done, perfect way to get back.

If you want to make profits as a newbie in trading, what you must do is to concentrate on a single coin and in my case I focus on bitcoin and for that I have less risk in over stepping my leverage liquidation if the market happens to go against my predictions, although some may say that using 1% leverage is best, but if you have to take the risk to make profits using such low leverage will not earn you any significant profit on the short term basis.

Trading is a bit technical, but the best lesson comes from your own experience and also making your loses to be a such of expirence that build the skills in you as a trader and how you withstand the future happenings.

Remember that trading is never easy but it's certainly hard learning it. But it's always better to learn it the hard way than to learn it the other way around, because that will build up your skills and strategies, your positive attitudes and your positive mentality about trading. In the long run, believe me, you'll be grateful to yourself because you have come to experienced such hardships in trading before you achieve your goal and success.

Afrer everything that a trader needs to know or learn about trading, and when you must have tackled risk management, emotion, Psychology and greed are the invisible key thing that all traders face and battle , whereas after you have tackled all this major things, Now discipline will be the catalyst to your profitability in trading,  the level at which you control yourself when trading determines how profit you would come.

Simple Psychological rules

Don't always wait until your trades hits tp, when you have realized a sudden market shift in the original trend ,you don't control the market, taking small profit is better than hitting a lose, the more profitable you become, the more confidence and relaxed you will become while taking the next trade.
Secure profit, or set break-even, so you don't turn a winning day into a losing day.

Did you undergo some courses before starting your trading journey?
Like do you have a mentor who brought to trading world or something, or how did you get to know about trading only this will help you because most times you need someone who already in the system to mentor you i mean, someone physically close to you there to mentor you to become successful while trading.
People can learn not only from paid courses but also from free courses and not all paid trading courses are good in quality.

From learning, newbies can continue with their practice in demo trading accounts, but there is big difference between demo trading and actual trading. When they use real money for trading, they will have more pressure, more emotion, more bad decisions by emotional and psychological effects.

Thanks for quoting my topic One of best weapons in trading.
I agree with you that everything can be free now, everything is already available online, there are a lot of free resources that you can use, videos, e-books, articles, podcasts,e tc.

The only challenging part is how you will apply it and how you master it. Trading is extremely difficult especially there is already emotion involve and your hard earned money already.
Emotion is a serious limiter in trading and because they have their money involved the fear to further do more learning would be very difficult for them and with that succeeding could be very hard as well, anyone who can deal away emotions can definitely succeed while trading, but what more? It's very painful trading and losing money or having to watch while their balance decreases so severely most people don't watching happened to them.
