Such stories are exploited by scammers to force you to promote their projects or continue playing, I am sure that your friend did not plan or expect to make such a profit and when he was playing those games no one was talking about it. Yes, I can understand where you are coming from. At the end of it, it really is the value you put into your time. For some, working for a wind turbine feels rewarding. while for others like yourself, it is more attractive to settle down with little effort. I also like staking to get passive rewards. But as you pointed out, sometimes the power of whaling can make it seem like small bettors are piling up the right stuff.

I see it, especially on Telegram with airdrops. It's kind of the same thing with the ad flow going down. Something's changed in the market, and seemingly most of that attention has moved elsewhere. Exactly, that's why dogs is being loved by the community. There are no trivial stuffs and delays just for those few bucks that the participants will get from the dogs. And there are still undergoing projects that are copying the style of dogs but I am no longer interested with them because it's for sure going to be not that hype at all. The sentiment of many have lost a lot already on this tapping trend that we're having. While I am not discouraging everybody, that's just me that have stopped for a while and will have to wait for some opportunities that will favor the likes of me.

True, we were all optimistic with the great start from NOT and Dogs. They did a very generous airdrop and all participants were well rewarded and satisfied. However, things quickly changed when many of these mini app projects or games started requiring transactions from participants, leading to more manipulation than their real value. Hamster was the first major failure, and many others followed.
What began as a fun meme tokens on Telegram with projects like NOT, Catizen, DOGS, Major, X empire soon turned into something quite different. Only projects like NOT and DOGS true that added real value, and boosted engagement with the growing trend of projects allowing investment to get more rewards has switched things.

It feels like ICO before them, I believe this hyped trending projects will disappear and fade away after having failures or scamming many players either for money or time spent. There’s only so much the market can take when participants see more manipulation than genuine opportunities. X Empire may still offer some of their promises to the community, but unless there’s a strong focus on real value which is the community priorities, it’s hard to see how these types of projects will last for lomg term.

Yeah, T2E, in general, isn't - that - profitable without proxies and a farm of accounts going beside you yourself doing the activities. However, it may be profitable - it's just that the nature of the projects in the sector may end up just like HK, which isn't good for people investing their funds and efforts.

I have no idea about many of the Mini Apps that you mentioned, which is why this is helpful for me although I am not really serious about playing the Mini Apps, I just want to test them out and see if they are different from the Defi games that entered the crypto industry years ago.
The only problem with them is that they eat a lot of time for low rewards. Worst, it might ruin your career if you have one. I think those who are trying to make this their source of income might fail. This is only good for trying to play some games sometimes while they are idle. This is true. I've seen those that are involved with this that have been doing farms with it are the ones that gets the most reward. But then, with the measure and way of dealing with cheaters of most of these successful projects, many of them are turned down but still there are a lot of them that are able to bypass.

However, it may be profitable - it's just that the nature of the projects in the sector may end up just like HK, which isn't good for people investing their funds and efforts.

For airdrops, it is profitable because the participants are still getting some rewards. The only capital that they have is their efforts and energy not unless they also have done a lot of transactions that gives them higher points than the normal free airdropper. But I agree about investing into those coins or tokens like HK, I would avoid that for sure except dogs which is my bias.

NOT is really a good start for begginers and DOGS are fast project which give a good amount. while hamster is  a lesson to learned from some airdrop players.

It seems you've been experiencing some good vibes with telegram mini apps..so far only dogs, nots has done well. I'm also closely monitoring X. Like I started earlier. The volumes for it on bitget pre market barely 72hrs is over a quarter million $. Might be good sign
