When I started that thread Bitcoin was priced at $42,571.91.  It was most certainly speculation at the time that we would ever hit $100,000 and...

To that end you created a thread in which people report doing push ups when you don't have to be very smart to see that few do them, not even you, and that if it had been opened by someone else it wouldn't have taken long to be trashed as befits the shitty thread it is.

I said this thing earlier in this thread, but differently because if you don't have proof that they aren't doing the pushups, you don't have the right to say that they are lying. I know it applies on both sides, but I can't entirely agree with the point that people on that thread are doing this to earn money from their signature campaigns or to complete their post quota because I don't think any sensible campaign manager would count posts where you are making a report in a challenge you are participating in where your post doesn't have any semantic load or quality. And, if a poster is writing a long enough post with some analysis and stuff and the post has some quality, I don't see anything wrong in it if such posts are counted towards their post quotas.

Also, some members such as OgNasty, JayJuanGee, Igebotz, and philipma1957, among others, don't need a specific thread to complete their weekly posts because they efficiently do it outside of that thread. It sounds illogical to say that they are fighting to keep the thread in the Speculation section so that their posts are counted for their signature campaigns. I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't make it any difficult for the participants of that challenge to complete their weekly posts even if the thread is moved to Off-topic, but I don't think the thread belongs to Off-topic because even if there is a challenge involved, the thread is still about speculating about Bitcoin's price.

Thinking that people aren’t doing 100 push-ups per day says a lot about you… I think people are doing them because it isn’t incredibly hard. I can do 80 push-ups in a set now but usually only do 60 in the morning. It barely takes a minute of my time before brushing my teeth. Why fake that instead of just spending a minute or two a day to look and feel like a Greek God? Pretty sure I tore a muscle in my side yesterday moving my foosball table and new living room set and I’m still doing my push-ups. There are levels to this…

Thank you.  Also as an asthmatic with diabetes that is 67 years old daily exercise is of great importance to me.

In spite of your expressed concerns, I have no reason to not stand by the statements that I already made.

It seems to be up to any campaign manager if they want to pay for posts in that thread or not.  Many of them might not be very worked up about paying for posts in that particular thread.

So on the contrary, are you by anyway means insinuating that you are 100% sure OgNasty's thread about 100 Push Ups will be someday locked due to the consistency of this thread? Because inasmuch that thread is alleged to fall under Off-topic category of post on this forum, for me, I could say that that's one thread that deserves continuity on the speculation board for every Bitcoin enthusiast who intend to hold his Bitcoin investment for long term due to the health benefits that Push-Ups does to the human body.

I'd never ask for the locking of even Og's thread. He of course has the freedom here to create his gimmick flexing thread under false pretenses, in the wrong board, and Don of course has the right to call it stupid and misplaced.

It appears the overall goal in the OP was to have it moved and for Og to stop misrepresenting satoshi, both of which still allow whoever else to continue using the push-up thread for whatever encouragement and health goals they apparently get out of it, and they could continue doing them, that's pretty clear to see.

When and in which of my responses in this thread did I seem annoyed? All my posts either demonstrated disagreement or suggestions. Regarding replies, I have not made a single post in this thread when the thread was inactive; I only post when I see you and others posting, and then I share my opinion. I never said that the other thread should never get locked, especially now that the challenge has been completed. This thread was never about the thread getting locked by the creator but about it being moved by a moderator.
The current thread should get locked, and another thread with a new challenge can be created. And since it seems that the title of the thread is one of the biggest reasons why it's being called out, maybe the title should be tweaked a little and be like, "Bitcoin Price Speculation & 150 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin is $150k Challenge". Then, the thread will not be off-board since it will have both speculative discussions and a challenge. 

So you're very upset that this is an endless discussion but you don't mind the endless discussion of the other. That's a textbook double standard.
