I have actually spoken to the people involved in this and I can confirm this is the real thing.  If you are genuinely interested  I strongly advise you to register for the event.

Satoshi believes the HBO thing was deliberately setup to draw attention away from what he is going to do.  I am about 65% in agreement with him on that point.

In any event, the above press release is absolutely genuine.  The Press Conference WILL happen.  Whether it will be successful is another issue but think about it.  So far you have heard from dozens of people saying they are NOT Satoshi.  This one is not saying that at all - quite the contrary.

If enough bitcoin and blockchain experts register, it will soon be obvious it it is not the real thing.

Everyone who is aware of how bitcoin works knows it is easy to prove if you are Satoshi.  Why would an interview be needed?  Unless it is preceded by moving coins from an early block or signing a message with those keys, it is not worth much.

Really Legendary?

Is that the only thing you would want to know about the man who has changed the world of finance forever?  Simply to see him move coins?

I find that a bit of a strange reaction to such an amazing event.

Each to their own I guess.  So you have absolutely no interest in knowing who he is and what made him do it?  Why he chose the SN handle?  Why he disappeared?  Where he has been?

Was you even aware that the general public (and I suspect 99.9% of people on here) dont have the foggiest idea how bitcoin works and what it is actually capable of (thus far completely untapped)

None of this interests you at all?  You just want to see coins moved?

Whether he will move coins or not I cannot say but I do know one thing.  There is only one man in the world who knows what is inside the Genesis block and how it was formed.  He is giving an interview on 31st October at a journalists club in London.
