Scroll TGE announced. Could this signal bullish ETH Run?

After Starknet did its users dirty, Scroll promised that they would uphold their community values and put their users interests first but then turned back to give Binance 5% tokens then try to justify it by saying the project needs binance to succeed — forgetting that even if they have the best integratuons, as long as there are no users left to use it after all is said and done, it'd be just another worthless L2.

I see people complaining about too many L2s — Layer-2s would've worked but some teams got very greedy. Blast for example, the founder created blast because he apparently didn't cashout enough from a prior project : Blur NFT marketplace.

I'm guessing the displeasure from the community is robbing of SCR price trend. Which has been consistently bearish since tge

That's one way to do it but it has to be community centric because a lot of users have lost faith in layer2s so Scroll has to use their ecosystem fund very well. Scroll rinsed at over $1.5B FDV and now trading below $1B FDV. They need to launch community focused programs ASAP because right now, there are no reasons for users to keep using the Scroll network. The oversaturation of layer2s makes this hard too.

there will be no amount of effort can get users on their side at this point, they can make season 2 airdrop, but then if they milk even a little bit people would put them at scrutinize, it's zksync all over again.
people are still mad at the allocation that they are willing to keep themselves from interacting in zksync blockchain at all  , this puts into perspective that the devs' attempt of milking the community will crash down back at them.
same thing with scroll, probably just gonna be empty chain with low tvl in a year or two.

the optimistic rollups L2 like optimism will always be the leading blockchain, their reward are so good that people are still feeling grateful to this day.

Tho Layer 2 is on the rise right know but if you take a deep into layer 2 world there is bunch of it including the upcoming airdrop of the Linea another layer 2 that hugely invested by Consensys that have funding round of 700Million the company behind Metamask

I wish eth hits bull run because when ETH is bull means that other altcoin also pump

Scroll wasn't good as well as I saw it, maybe Linea will be better, but as seeing the trend myself, the drops are now not in a great spot as an activity to do in the space, currently

it was a flop as expected, the L2 trend faded, the L2 devs are as usual, milking their community until the last drop. it's no wonder that so many people get disappointed .
I personally think thats it with staking meta. the reward never lives up to the expectation and finally we're coming to the final phase of staking meta where eventually everything become diluted and nobody getting interested anymore.

and i'm expecting this coin to go down further in price.

makes me wonder why the ZK based L2s in general are just massive shitfest .

While airdrop itself was a fiasco, this is not about scamming/milkng community or about a trend. Markets might think that L2:s are about a trend, i see this as being about development, and every contribution of eth or eth layer 2 development counts. Especially when team is full of geniuses like with Scroll.

And what's the alternative here? If they would have build new L1 for some reason, would people said that there's so many L1:s that no one has any reason to build new experimental and unsafe L1, because their solution could be implemented on existing L1? Because it's contribution for the same boat everyone is on already, towards the greater good.

Yeah, at least the project is there, it's not like Scroll was a meme that did it only for the hype or something, however, the allocation, as far as I heard from people, wasn't that good.

If you are not new in here and have an experience about these crypto projects or airdrops, then you could have known if what will be their faith but others who are not like that can still expect something positive. That is only the thing that they got for them to keep on going, since they already started it. Each trend has an end and so as this layer two projects.

I think that is also because there are lots of them now, so newer ones are not relevant anymore and like you said, are only created to milk the community. In fact even older projects do also has an intention to earn but it's okay since they still have a great contribution to the community.

You mentioned something that is not really relevant. Scroll TGE cannot be an Ethereum bullish signal.
If it was, there would have been bull signals on Starknet or other L2s.
Scroll airdrop was already pretty bad, the community doesn't give good comments about Scroll, so there was an excessive money outflow afterwards. I even heard that a platform did rugpull.
