If Dogecoin DOGE gets another pump it can 36X and hit $5

Check out this historical log chart for the Dogecoin DOGE price. It has gotten steep pumps on several occasions. In 2021, it 123Xed in 5 months.

Then again, the stock market looks like we're might heading for a recession, putting this trade on pause for a while everyone dumps anything of value.

IMO, I don't think it will pump as hard as it did in the previous bull run. If you recall well, the pump wasn't natural, it was with the help of Elon Musk shilling and right now even when the likes of BTC smashed past the last Bull run's all-time highs, Doge did not even get any close.
Doge will remind me of coins that previously pumped but never made any serious moves in the bull run that followed… The likes of OMG, XVG, etc

No way it stays on the same trajectory as 2021.  It was a perfect storm of covid money, covid happening where people were online.  Amd meemcoins getting a surge.  Si.ce doge was pretty much the only one, everyone was buying doge.  Now there are millions of memecoins and the money is spread way too thin for it to pump like that.  I do expect it to hit like a dollar but $5 might be pushing it, unless bitcoin goes bananas

can't imagine that scenario plays out without market cap of cryptocurrency having dramatic increase. remember that as much as anyone favour doge as an investment it's still meme coin, and meme coin money right now spread thin between various blockchain. truth is, meme coin is market is getting too diluted. speculative market is big, but it also has limits.

I think it can definitely do more than 2x - 3x but it is unlikely to do 36x. Doge has a very established community & it does well in every bull run. I think we could easily see 5x & maybe more. I’m excited to see what it will do in 2025.

Well, it's all thanks to Elon Musk which is why it pumped so hard like that.

But, right now the trend about Dogecoin is silent and they need Elon again if they want to boost its value. Considering how much the new Dogecoin investors lost, it will be a difficult task since after that pump, it was dumped easily and who knows made the sale because it took out the trust of those new investors that may not be waiting for a chance to sell their bought Doge.
I would not expect a heavy pump, there's so much happening in the crypto space and there are games that seem to be where the focused is. You might want to just relax and let all those new projects go down first before anything good happens to Doge again.

Shitcoins like Doge are being pumped by the pumping teams because of the recent bitcoin price rise that helped artificially increase their price against the dollar which always creates a small hype which then helps the pumping teams pump these shitcoins.

This is the second pump attempt of Doge this month and because it coincided with the bitcoin rise, it could go slightly higher than previous pump tip (ie. 212 satoshi) but it is in nowhere near the previous pump attempt this year that took Doge to 311 satoshi earlier this year.

I don't think Doge has the potential to get pumped that high. But if bitcoin breaks $70k and the massive bull market begins, the sheer volume of the money that enters the market  could help pump shitcoins like Doge, ETH, LTC, and others to higher prices.

We can't compare the past and present, do you remember that memecoins weren't as numerous as they are now? I know there are only a few coins that have a high supply and low price, one of which is Dogecoin. So expecting a Dogecoin revival is impossible in my opinion, because of the many tokens or meme coins, maybe the price will increase, but it can't be like the massive increase before.

I doubt if dogecoin can get to $5 anytime soon, it has to cross $2 - $3 first before it can and that's not happening in this current bull season. It might be possible in the next bull season. We can speculate about price but we can not accurately be certain about the price of crypto, so reverse could also be the case.

Yeah me too. It looks so weird for a mere meme coin to be like that. Don't get me wrong, they can pump big but I think there are none yet that crosses the 1 dollar mark. Dogecoin is already released as a meme coin, so I don't think it is still possible for them to add something that is useful on top of it.

On the past, I heard some meme coins who did it later on but I think it is possible for them because they have a smart contract capability.

A prediction is only just a prediction no matter what category was that, so they won't always be 100% guaranteed. This is why that in crypto, a lot of people have failed.

Predicting meme coins are even harder because many of them are only plain. From what we said earlier, you are right that Dogecoin is definitely done on its peak and it was now on its normal form. So, we better not expect more from their team for the coin to have a possible pump and if they can do it, then they already do that a long time ago because who wouldn't like their project to be on top right?

As that gives them more recognition and most importantly is they can now earn a good amount of money by dumping their bags or their share of supply. This is why it is bad to invest on a project which teams has more control of the supply.

$1 was close but $5 was harder to be reached for dogecoin. Even if we test for more bull runs, there could be a harder time for it to get into those numbers starting from a dollar into getting to 5 bucks. And most of the alts that have already multiplied a lot in the past, it's harder for them to reach another highs. Many of us missed the chance with Dogecoin and that's why I think that there are still some of those that would like to try their luck.

While the others have given up and are looking for better opportunities elsewhere by investing into another memecoins. But that strategy is a hit or miss and they're more prone to risk but if they earn a lot, that's good for him. It is entirely different for Dogecoin but thinking that it will hit $5 someday, maybe but most likely it will not.

It is too much if it is pumped up to 36x in the current bullrun, how much do Doge capitalists have at that time? Doge has something quite strong in its name, which has the figure of Elon Musk behind it, if in the end the rumors are true about Doge will be made a payment currency at X then the price increase I think is very possible, but it is still a question mark and we will not know what the future will be like.

Other coins have a relatively small capitalization so it is easy to have a price increase, while Doge has a large market capitalization so it is quite difficult to resemble Pepe, Bonk, WIF, Neiro which have experienced a very high price increase this year.

This is exactly how people lose money. Past price doesn't determine future price. That aside if you want to make analysis like this stick, you'd want to back it up with credible data. For context : dogecoin price is at a high price and it was only able to do those multiple x in value. It can't do so now because it would need a liquidity bigger than the one Solana currently has otherwise, it won't forget. Degens also have noticed that there is more room for growth with newer memecoins than OG coins that have high marketcap that significantly reduces the room for growth.

$5/Doge, this sounds too high and unrealistic but it is entirely possible that it could go up to $1. I agree with you that the meme market has become much more diluted than in 2021 and Doge's cap is also very high but don't forget that Doge is the only memecoin Elon has supported, so far.
We don't know what he will do with it in the future, but if he accepts it as a payment method for his companies it will create significant hype for Doge. It's been 4 years since the 2021 bull run and Elon continues to show support for Doge, so I wouldn't be surprised that when the bull run starts he'll look to hype Doge up again and take it to the next level.

Doge is still the most unique memecoin in the crypto market so it is worth looking forward to, even betting on it is safer than investing in altcoins.

The pump era for Dogecoin to me is long gone this time around. A tweet from Elon Musk about Dogecoin doesn't usually have a positive reaction on it as it used to.
 
If there is ever going to be some pump on it, I don't think Dogecoin can surpass the $1 level, as it has already paved the way for other shitcoins for which many are given a chance, unless there is a drastic growth in its demand that can push it to that $1 level.

Only a few? What are you talking about? Every single meme coin has a high supply and a low price, that is the norm for them because they start with trillions of tokens and then some burn some of their supply and some don't. Maybe you said that wrong and you meant low supply and high price because DOGE, compared to other meme coins, has a low supply because its total supply is 150B and most meme coins have their total supply set at trillions. Look at SHIB, it has a circulating supply of 589T which is huge.

I think expecting old meme coins to have extreme pumps is unreasonable. People aren't interested in old meme coins anymore, there are new projects, people would rather invest in them than invest in an old one because most investors believe that newly launched meme coins tend to have the potential to make one a millionaire.

And later we did found out that he really profited a lot of money by shilling on Doge and somewhat put aside Bitcoin. So that alone really affected Elon Musk influence in the market as it was obvious afterwards.

With that, I do not think that a influential person such as big as Elon Musk can come along and then push Doge to what the OP is looking. So it could be a different cycle for Doge. Although investors can still profited, but I do not see it pumping huge and hitting $5.00. There could be some other coins though that investors are going to choose and to put a huge pump and dump later, but it might no longer be the meme coins in Doge.
