While spot trading strategy can be simple and low-risk, but you should never rush into spot trading if you are not highly exposed and aware about the fast changing price volatility and counterparty risk, otherwise if you can't manage them wisely and effectively, you would end up trading for losses, and not making any instant profits. That's why a lot would still chose to buy and hold, and sell only when the perfect timing comes.

The spot trading technique is probably DCA (Dollar Cost Averaging). I am not sure if you know about it, but in case you don't, you can look it up. All you will need with technique is just consistency and patience.

Great tool, though some of the links are now outdate or not working, which could easily lead to misinformation. Guess I should think about creating a similar updated list.

My advise for you is to be very careful of trading. Most new traders are losing. Some old traders will lose until they leave trading. But few people are making money from it. The person that make money from it are highly experienced in trading and not just about knowledge.

Buy low and sell high has been what people are saying when it comes to trading, they say it like it is very simple, but when it comes to real trading, they will see how trading is very difficult when they will think they buy low but later sell low instead.

Spot trading is much easier and safe trading on crypto market. I think there is no particular strategy to get consistent profit on crypto platform. As we all know that crypto market high volatile we have more chance to get more profit. I think buying on downtrend and if you try to DCA it will help you to get profit. However you need to realize the trend first if it is completely downfall you never get any profit it could down further. Actually we need to learn each and everything to get more profit. So that you need to be patient when market on stable and fall down.If you choose the right coin, right time, right level you might get profit from this coin. I have given as much as i have still you need to learn more and gathered information from other hope you will get more confidence and start to earn from spot trading.

If you want to have a simple strategy to apply in the spot market then I think so far one of the best you can choose is the DCA strategy, most investors now use this method in accumulating assets they believe in especially Bitcoin, it is very simple to learn and the practice is not too draining, you only need to plan a time to deposit money in the same amount periodically such as once a week or once a month without looking at the purchase price rate, this is a very useful strategy to minimize the impact of market volatility, but this is a strategy that is recommended to be applied in the long term such as the next few years to get the maximum amount of profit, meaning what is needed is consistency and patience.

There's not so much you can do with spot, maybe just DCA when price about to hit support level, as long as we don't try to catch falling knives in bearish where market could just go through few support level, we're gonna be fine.
moreover in bullish like this, catching dip almost guaranteed profit if you can have the mental fortitude to see your portfolio tanking in value a little bit.

just see from this 1 day chart, even in time of bullish like this there's still occasional small dip, catching it can give you profits. same thing happened to alts too, so it work with lesser capital.

Yes, this do pertains about forex trading but actually this is the basics among the basics or simply that ground zero when it comes on learning trading. You would eventually find out on what are the things that you should gonna learn but of course the other learnings could really be acquired through real experience and this is something that you should do later on. Consider yourself that dealing up with the basics then you would eventually be able to find out on what are the things that you should really be able to do. In regarding about spot trading then it something which is recommended and never ever touch up futures if you dont consider
yourself being profitable with spot trading.

One of the most common mistakes of newbies is that they do become that too rushed when dealing up with futures trading despite on having that lacking skills about spot trading.

Also don’t forget, TA is another tool in the toolbox. If the fundamentals are crap, your luck won’t last forever. Don’t trade an asset that has bad fundamentals. This rule is more important than picking TA indicators.

Having multiple indicator is the fasted way to lose in trading, focusing on single or at most 2 indicators will help a trader to build that knowledge and have less congestion of interest, I use to dive into new coins before and trading them was a big difficult for me since forecasting multiple market could be a hard job one tend to easily make mistakes in the analysis of those market, so for that I have made up my mind that the only trading pier I concentrate on will be assets like bitcoin, and this make it easy for me to make profits more than I record loses along the line.

Those indicators that you mentioned could helps alot, but still requires some level of expertise to dictate a d identify the right indicator to use at any particular time that remain in better positions.

You have actually done the right thing buying and hold and I will advise you to keep buying and holding, it would benefit you the more than spot trading because if you aren't careful on the kind of coin and tokens you trade they might likely dump on you.
There are people who succeeded with investment but doesn't succeed in trading because they easily lose their funds for just some common errors and mistakes, and if you must trade then your chances of losing your holdings are extremely risky.

I won't consider myself as an expert but the simple spot strategy I suggest you is to buy the dip, hold, dca, and sell with profit, keep doing that and overtime you'll be used to it and then you'll surely make some profit in the end. But, also keep in mind, that only trade good altcoins and Bitcoin.

If you want to do both, hodling for investment, and trading with Spot market, you need to manage your capital in two different parts: one for investment with buying and hodling; and one for trading in Spot market with buying and selling.

You never should mix your capital for investment and trading together, because in the end, you will no longer be able to hodl and turn to be 100% trading.

In trading, use weapons to defend your capital like Stop loss order or Stop limit order.

Stop limit order.

There is nothing to master in spot trading, as far as the process is involved, you buy-hold-sell-buy and the cycle continues and each cycle you increase your total capital by fractions.

The thing that would need to learn is to keep your emotions under control and learn when you buy and when you sell. That timing is the key in spot trading. Also you have to have a good amount of patience to hold through years and years before a price to sell arrives. This type of stagnancy in price is not uncommon.

Additional method of trading other than spot are all gambling, so be cautious before treading on them.

Hodling over the years have proven to be one of the best and yet reliable means and way of investing in Bitcoin but just to properly take advantage of the Bitcoin market, you can decide to do spot trading which is a safe and also almost risk free because volatility doesn't affect it so badly as it does with derivatives but some how if you are hodling you could be seen as a partial spot trader because you basically do all the swaps and trading in the spot aspect of the exchanges you use or even on your wallet, all that been done are spot activities but actively trading spot sometimes could require constant monitoring at intervals though but you can later on set alerts and leave the market my best bet for you will be to study more and understand market dynamics, that way you will do well spot trading.

This source comprises almost each and everything that a newbie can start with in trading. I mean from the tutorial of what crypto and blockchain are to the trackers and bot trading platform (along with TA). The schools and sites this repository has listed to learn TA is really free and paid but TBH I don't think it's really helping (Not from your side) but from the owner of that Repository side.

They should have mentioned some of the courses, and the link must be given to them directly, not just the site link. But still, it has a lot of sources, and its more than enough, a newbie won't need any other source now.

You wont really be needing any experts advise. There's google, youtube or simply search up on the web on which you could be able to find out on the answers that you are looking for.

Technical analysis and Fundamentals will really be the key but of course you would really be needing to consider on learning on how to read up charts as this would really be the very basic.
There's no such technique because no matter how experienced you are or really that wary on how this market works but still it wont really be giving out that assurance that you could
really be able to make yourself that profitable in the end of the day.

We are all that thriving to become that sustainable and acquiring such skills would really be taking up some time and effort for you to be able to achieve such condition.
There would really be those moments or times that you will really be able to make profits but of course it cant be something that will really be sustainable.
You are the ones who would be dictating on how you will really be handling yourself into this volatile field.
