If Bitcoin finally reaches 100k will you sell?

Bitcoin don even pass $100k, but i never sell, i know say some people go don sell some of their coins as bitcoin reach $100k, it depends on the target wey person set. We all dey different, so we no go get similar targets, my advice be say even if you wan sell, make you no sell all the coins wey you don accumulate, you fit sell a certain percent, but make you still hodl some bitcoin, because the future dey very good for bitcoin.

Of course anyone who knows the importance of Bitcoin would never sell in a rush for quick profit knowing too well Bitcoin is a long term project which require us to hold for long term to enjoy the benefit, sometime with how impatient we might be we could be pushed to easily sell of our holdings without us at least experiencing the difference in price actions and reactions.

Totally agree! Because as long as Bitcoin investment is concerned everybody have their own target...

I still think that even after the target that some investors have set for their investment has been reached they would still not be in a hurry to want to sell because that is normal human nature, after one target has been met another new target is automatically set. It will not be wise to have patiently waited all these years to finally see Bitcoin bullish and just as quickly as bitcoin gets to your targets you sell off forgetting that the bullish trend of Bitcoin still continues.

Yeah, the reason why an investor who have reached their target before they sell will consider waiting further is simple. Maybe they could have seen a probable sign that if they hold longer that they will make a lot of profits and since they are not in any pressure to sell and attend to an urgent need, they can comfortably wait even if there will be market volatility that will cause the price to fluctuate but they won't be moved again to sell too quickly as they will always want to see how high the price can be able to reach.

Everyone has target and plan so if your plan is to hold for a short while then you can sell whenever Bitcoin hit $100k but already Bitcoin has surpassed $100k some weeks or months ago and if someone bought a good fraction of Bitcoin very early lets say around 2014-2016 selling when Bitcoin will hit $100k won't be a bad Idea because it is more than 4 years so it is a long term investment but someone who bought 2021 or 2022 selling your Bitcoin won't be advisable because is not up 4 years. It always advise to invest regular using the most convenient and reliable method ( DCA) and hold for at least 4 years.

Those who have been investing in Bitcoin since 2014-2016 are still very profitable, but they should not sell now, and hold on for a more cycle period. Personally, I think that those who have been holding since 2014-2016 have already understood Bitcoin well, and they will also understand the future possibilities well, so if they take advantage of the opportunities of 2014-2016 and still hold on, then if they can hold on for some more time or one more cycle, they can be more profitable than they are now. Because Bitcoin has many more great opportunities in the future, so they should definitely hold on for one more cycle instead of selling at this time and should continue to buy regularly, then their success will be 2X or 3X more than this.

Telling the Op that Bitcoin don pass the price that was mentioned before experiencing a dumb simply means that you didn't understand that this topic was created in October 19 2024 and as at then, the price of Bitcoin closed at less than $69k on that particular date so the Op was actually asking if it finally gets to 100k, if Bitcoiners will sell their coins.

It's your choice if you are not going to sell until you see Bitcoin move up to a significant level one thing that we need to know when it comes to Bitcoin investment is that different persons have different plans and reason for investment so there are people who have a long term view concerning their investments while others wants a quick return on their investments.

Time takes a very big space in the body of investment. bitcoin has been a very productive asset it is reliable in terms of investment and its passed result has shown how aggressive it is in its bullishness. There is even quite a chance that in the next 10 years bitcoin might surprisingly reach $1 million.
Imagine in you having something worth $800k to $1m in your name in the next 10 years how great will you feel? ten years no really far ooh.
So me personally i see no use selling it once it reaches 100k, its an investment, investment is all about time and patience.
in a time of emergency also you will have it as back up

I agree with you. If you want to be successful or profit by investing in Bitcoin, of course, if the price of Bitcoin falls, it is not the right step to be unstable and sell it quickly. However, I am not thinking of selling Bitcoin yet because I can solve my financial problems with additional funds, so I invest when the price falls in the market and am being patient. Reducing investment risk through the DCA method and investing regularly and holding for at least 5 years.
