They made an announcement via their X account that they  are panning to cease their operations on the 20th of October.
Not sure if the have announced it on other platforms or sent email notifcations to their customers, but they posted the tweet a month ago and they’ve pinned it. So, it’s not really a scam.
Here is the link to the pinned tweet:

It seems they don't have many customers that's why the exchange ended up closing the exchange.

@zazarb do you have some coins left from this exchange?
It is referred to as a scam exchange because most of the shitcoins there are not withdrawable, I have some shitcoins stuck there forever.

The exit announcement was issued one month prior to the closure date, which was 3 days ago. There were also repeated reminders as the final day approaches. You must have missed all of them.

If you have funds there, I hope it isn't much. You can still try to contact their support though and hope they will still cater you.

Although all exchanges have scam accusations, Graviex ran for 7 years. And they didn't just vanish into thin air without a word.

Yes, I have some coins(small amount), and I didn't get the message to email about closing  exchange.

Well, what I see is pretty obvious; they don't even bother to update or announce directly on their announcement thread that they are going to close their service. Gravio last active November 28, 2023, and no update about closing their service.

I am not sure if you can still request a withdrawal, but if you still want to take out these coins from the exchange, you can contact them.
They have a list of contact information in their announcement thread, which can be found at the link below.

Whois also provides this contact info: GUAUQ31R@whoisproxy.ru but I don't know if you can reach them by contacting this anonymous email.

I am quite surprised that they were functional until today. Another small altcoin exchange goes down in history.

Interestingly, the domain graviex.net will expire on October 31, 2024, which is less than a week from now. is it possible that they will not even renew the domain in order to avoid possible phishing scams?

That sounds very likely. I guess they don't think it's their responsibility anymore considering they already announced they will close their service many times, albeit not on this forum if I understand it correctly. Maybe their social media account will stay live with a pinned message about it.

It’s frustrating when exchanges go down without official notice via email, especially when funds get stuck. Sometimes these smaller exchanges struggle with volume and operations, and unfortunately, users end up dealing with the fallout. Did you try reaching out to their support? It might be worth seeing if there's any news about withdrawal option.

From reading the previous post about graviex.net, one of the things that people liked about the exchange was that it had trading pairs of coins that most other exchanges don't have.

For those of you who bought coins there that aren't available on other exchanges, please let me know and I'll add them to Firetrade.

Like graviex.net, Firetrade doesn't have a lot of volume yet (we're new), so I can't promise that every coin will immediately have great trading volume.

But I'll do whatever I can do to help.

Unknown exchanges like Graviex probably thrive on unknown coins. They've got cheaper, perhaps even free, listing fee, lenient admission process, and so on, the exact things unknown projects need. But being highly dependent on unknown coins means having less activities and low volume. People who sign up there are probably forced to do so precisely because of those unknown coins, OP included most likely.

Anyway, you might want to open a formal announcement thread for your platform. Having a copper membership might also help in the presentation.

I guess the problem here isn't about where to move to be able to trade certain coins; it's about stuck funds in a closed exchange.

Good suggestion, thank you. I'll get the copper membership.

Most small exchanges that were friendly to 'unknown' altcoins are slowly shutting down. One could conclude that the time of small altcoins has passed and it will be increasingly difficult for them to position themselves on large exchanges. The amount of trading is not enough for some services to live only from the trading fee, plus their value is constantly decreasing.
meme and other tokens that come through the big exchange token offering have taken over this part of the market. Unfortunately, I don't see how some smaller exchanges could take a serious place if they are based on other altcoins.
