Just another two altcoins at the end of the day. Giving it a specific name isn't going to ensure it is used for whatever it's named after. If dispensaries are going to accept cryptocurrency then I'm sure they'll just stick with Bitcoin.

Agreed. Adopting new altcoins is just too complicated. No services for it, no exchanges, no demand etc.

The concept is so good, that I don't think about this coin as I usually think about altcoins. I'm not sceptical at all, I hope this one will do good.

I know that it's a little bit naive to believe in such charity, but I really want this one to do well. I feel that I love the idea.

I'll post it again, just for you http://cointelegraph.com/post/clean_water_coin_rethinking_charity, hope this time godamned link will work It's an article with the interview. I just want to believe in people, want to think that they are good and that they try to make something, which will help other people to survieve in this cruel world. So if some kind of altcoin will help-why not. And I need to mention one more time, usually I'm very sceptical about alt.coins, but not this time.

Yeah, that works, though I'm not sure if they're the first 'non-profit coin'.

Maybe they are the first who catched the attention to 'non-profit coin'? Anyway, I'm coming to the conclusition, that alt.coins is not the best topic to talk about. I meanthat there are many reasons why this theme will never become as serious as bitcoin is.

The Clean Water Coin Initiative is the first ever coin designed and developed to be a nonprofit organization. What does that mean? We are a registered Nonprofit Organization and we’ve created a Crypto Charity and coin that lets a community actively participate in helping provide clean water. To do that we've teamed up with CharityWater.org so that we can create campaigns and raise funds for clean water projects. Also, the community can easily track exactly how we are doing by visiting our campaign page. Sounds like a great cause.
