Just some piece of advice;
There have been cases of hackers/scammers logging into unsuspecting user accounts and then coming around to request for a loan. Given that you haven't been so active lately, you might want to sign a message from your old staked Bitcoin address and include it in the loan request. This can help assure the lender that indeed it's you who is requesting for a loan and not someone malicious who just logged into your account.

Just out of curiosity, if I lend you 0.001881BTC are you going to pay back 0.001881BTC +12%, meaning 0.00211BTC?

Or are you trying to use semantics to pull a fast one?  Is this like the last time you applied for a loan, where you intend to pay back in USD value after bitcoin pumps?

I think if someone malicious logged into my account, I think my password will have been changed by now. Either way I will report back with a signed message soon (I am fine with no one lending until I do as I have genuinely been struggling to find the wallet for the past 1.5 hours).

I wasn't using semantics or pulling a fast one. Funnily enough, only now am I actually realizing that what you were saying was that I was going to wait until the market was favorable to me at any point during that 8 weeks, while I was coming from the view point of what the rate would be after 8 weeks. Looking back, it was a mistake to do things different to the norm as it obviously caused unintended confusion and debate, but I assure you that I did not have bad intentions then, I don't now, and I won't ever. I think we can all agree that karma is a very real thing and I don't want the bad kind just to profit a few dollars on the back of someone else, trust me. I also value my bitcointalk account as a piece of memorabilia, it's close to invaluable to me, and I don't want to lose it, let alone use it to harm someone else.

To address your curiosity about this loan, I do apologize if putting the conversion in brackets made it a bit unclear. After looking at the OP again, I do see how it might have. To be completely clear: I'm asking for 125 USD. 140 USD will be repaid ($125 +12%). The option to use BTC or USDT for this transaction is completely up to the lender's preference.

If you or anyone else is genuinely curious about lending a fixed amount of BTC with BTC to be repaid, I am fine with 0.0015 BTC @ 12% (0.00168 BTC). It's a little lower in USD value, just in case it pumps.

The reason I am saying this is that it has happened to more than two members before. The hacker/scammer does not change the password to avoid raising suspicion. They just log in and post a loan request to their Bitcoin address without your knowledge.

Let me look up one of the threads.

It's okay I understand what you are saying and not saying that it's invalid, it just sounds like an odd approach to me.

Anyway, like I said, I am happy to not be lent until I find this dang key. I have signed a message after my most recent password change so there is already proof that I am I, but I will post another updated one as soon as I can to prove that I have not been hacked and trying to get a loan.

Are you still looking?

Happy to go ahead with you after I post the signed message. If we go ahead prior, it's more than likely that my virtual head will be cut off for not providing it and taking the loan.

You used this one less than one year ago...

And have been using it for well over a year, before your posting habits slowed down:

Are you saying you lost the private key to this one?

That, I can do:
Code:
Message: BenCodie - Signed message on October 31, 8:06:00 AM GMT
Address: bc1qtfj35a3xqtq78aye9jnxrrqjhx5ah046zg0hzs
Signature: H3HElwbjejze4s11zgRKGcIqW125XI3hxDHOC2s5xGz0LbrUIusfbkSbWY2rY4ib8w08TiKYOZ8NV86WsGJv2Ag=

I'm having issues with blockchain.com for my other address. Apparently I added an email authentication to my account (99% sure not the case) and I've been going back and forth with them since JeromeTash's request. I'll still report back on this, though worth mentioning that I haven't changed my password since my last signed message from that address.

The signature is valid.

Everyone should verify for themselves but it shows valid for me.

The USDT TRX address you posted has no TRX or any other TX, is correct? Was going to send there but every other person I have loaned to has had SOME activity on their posted USDT address.

Thanks for validating the message. I just sent you an address with activity from past loans with shasan if you are considering funding and wanted an alternative address.

Was just more of an 'are you sure about that address thing' as recently as a week ago someone pasted the wrong address:

...

USDT TRC-addy: TR7NHqjeKQxGTCi8q8ZY4pL8otSzgjLj6t
...

Check the USDT address you posted I don't think it's correct that's the contract address for USDT on TRX.

https://www.oklink.com/trx/address/TR7NHqjeKQxGTCi8q8ZY4pL8otSzgjLj6t

Before someone goes to fill it and sends funds to nowhere.

-Dave

Either way sent $125 to TDi816uyKDLqcSXcqeoqkxkwWton56KqPt TXID 92b874d8f6273bdba65fb113c2253d6a306a3fc93195541a5e66307ae9deb4a4
Repay to $140 to TH6XmkB7HrQm4yRpBt9GYYPdRycGT9THPZ by Nov 21st.

And wow fees TX fees are really up there. 130000 energy to send.

Thanks,
Dave
