At least when it comes to this market I doubt there is a single coin out there that was at any point more successful than bitcoin, since bitcoin went from being worth zero to its current market cap, and even if it is true that number is exaggerated, as exchanges are just multiplying the current price and the number of coins ever mined, the same is true for the rest of the coins on the market, and since there is no coin that has surpassed the market cap of bitcoin, then it is relatively safe to say that there has never been any altcoin that did better than bitcoin.

Well, I wouldn't be so sure about Bitcoin becoming the only coin with the largest capitalization. It's not time yet. Years will pass and then we can say this with confidence, if it remains so. After all, technologies do not stand still and they are constantly evolving. Why am I saying this? It is possible that in the near future a project will appear that will surpass the "first" coin in parameters and functionality.

Only if the big fellas up above will have more skin into another coin aside of BTC that event can happen.
And for now, there are no candidates for such a case, because nobody made a breakthrough of such kind.

I am totally agree with you that there are no option that give us a healthy return except bitcoin yet. We have run many days with btc from where btc was nothing now it is the wealth and asset for the crypto community. Not only this community bit also its getting more popular to the world. This is literally Bitcoins year! It’s such an exciting time to have been on this forum for quite a while now and following since 2017 for me pretty much. Although I did have initial introductions to Bitcoin very early on but largely it went over my head several times before I finally started paying attention. I wish I had seen it sooner of course! If it's on the angle of ROI, where are SOL, PEPE, FLOKI and many of them? And if it's an impressive rise on milestone remarks, where do they put Gold that has continued to record new ATH monthly for many months now?

The growth in the value of bitcoin in a one year time frame is impressive - the percentage is almost 100%. If in the last year someone had 1 bitcoin - then by now they would have collected more than 97% returns, not to mention if they entered at a lower price. But whatever it is - they don't need to regret their past perhaps not realizing about the potential of bitcoin - I mean, they can still buy bitcoin today and make it a long-term investment.

Bitcoin will continue to gain support and its popularity will spread further. A good future can be expected although there is a possibility that the annual percentage return will decrease over time. I admit bitcoin is still the best investment asset in the industry - there's no denying that.

I am pro-Bitcoin not cryptocurrency but Bitcoin and even then, I don’t think it’s the most profitable there is.
Don’t forget, Elon bought tweeter and had his asset depreciated greatly and in just a month, he was heavily in profit. I wouldn’t want to go into facts or details but, you could research on that and find out just how much profit he got in a month. It didn’t end there but, he’s sure to make profits over a couple of months with no significant fluctuation as we have in Bitcoin.

Investment is more than 1 year and I would like to look further than in 2024, that is a bullish year for Bitcoin market.

Focusing on one year will be very headache because we will limit our time line with only 1 year that will be mix of ups and downs and our decision will affected by ups and downs of market within 1 year.

I don't blame him, he is probably a maximalist and they don't see anything good aside from Bitcoin but I can tell there are many other coins that has had an impressive growth so far since January 2024 but been that Bitcoin has been here for long and it's a reference for f investment of crypto to outside investments is why they always says Bitcoin is the biggest in their opinion but when you look deeper than the surface, there are plenty of projects that has done 5 times what Bitcoin has done in term of ROI

This is a unique fact that bitcoin is indeed the best investment slowly showing a very positive value and bitcoin is also a smart move if people can use the investment to generate financial freedom. Historically bitcoin describes the appropriate data that occurs without manipulating so that smart people can see the history as a guideline in reviewing the journey of bitcoin. But not everyone sees the potential because they are too worried about the site or the journey of bitcoin which is very speculative.

There is no need to convince anyone to get involved in bitcoin because smart people will find out the right source as a basic reference for them to get involved in investment. Bitcoin hit $75k4 as news of Trump's victory spread and then peaked at $76k4 after Harris spoke and conceded defeat to Trump. But right now bitcoin is trading at around $75k and I think the hype around the election is over. The next catalyst or impact on the market will be the Fed interest rate announcement today, if they continue to lower interest rates we can see expectations for bitcoin price to continue to rise and break ATH. But if they suddenly stop cutting rates because of inflation concerns, I don't think Trump's hype will save us from dumping.

The economic situation is still a more important factor in determining the trend of bitcoin than Trump or any current president. I believe whether we reach the $80k target will depend on what the Fed decides.

Not a surprise, we went out of a bear market, into a halving market, so of course we would go up, in addition we had ETF approved for the first time, and tens of billions of dollars going into bitcoin as well, so when you combine all of these together, it's a fine increase that we would get.

I believe the better we do the higher we will go and 2025 should be the peak, we should be getting the bull run and the all time high should be set to a new level as well. Only an overly enthusiastic bitcoiner can sound like this, not a mature investor. Your words are very loud, but often, there is little common sense in loud words. It is impossible to say for sure which investment will be profitable, and even more so, the most profitable. And I will not even mention statements about the "safest investment". For bitcoin, even $100K is already a good price, $1,000K is "sky-high" at the moment. But I can agree that even this level can be reached one day. But not as soon as enthusiastic BTC-investors like you expect. There is just one nuance. By the time 1 BTC costs $1,000K, the significance (value) of such millionaires will be much less than now. Even now, being a millionaire is not nearly as prestigious as it was in the 90s (thanks to inflation). The only thing I agree with you 100% on is that no investment type is like bitcoin.
