Well I had a topic that was about copying other people bets but it is old enough and locked from an administrator so I could not unlock it, it is the time that a copied bet landed. However when I shared it in the Stake sports chat and asked them what is the real odd they said it is down dramatically from over x1900 because I have 4 half loss and one voided bet. Isn't it funny that even when someone after trying for so long to hit such a big odd especially in sports it turns down that the odd is only maximum they said 20, yet I am leaving here the bet so you can give me some feedback, what a joke the over 2.25 type of bet is, never bet on them guys.

Yes, it must be hard to bear that, after correctly guessing so many variables, the prize went down so much for such an insignificance. But I guess that this is how it works. Compare it with what happened to Kent Brockman in one of the new episodes of The Simpsons: unlike in one of the old ones, he misses the last number of the lottery, so even though he got the first five numbers right, he didn't win anything.

Let's see what other members with more experience playing in that sports book have to say, but I think that it is normal to get a dramatic decrease in the odds even if it is only by failing in a few details like these.

This is better than losing everything because if it wasn't Asian total rather it was the direct over 2.5 odds then you have instantly lost the bet. When you bet on over 2.5 goals the teams are expected to score a minimum of 3 goals in the match for you to win your bet. But when it comes to the Asian total odds (some betting sites just call it over 2 instead of over 2.5) it means you can be paid half of your wins if the goal is up to 2 when it's not up to 3 goals.

I think this is one of the best odds to bet on these days. Yesterday I won my bet with a similar situation here. Perhaps this is the first time OP is betting on this odd.

I should get between an odd of 16-20 based on my calculation and so I would get back my initial stake plus the amount won, in my life never again going for over 2.25, max I will do over 1.75 which if hit is half win and never playing those half lost bets anymore, this was not very hard to bear because my initial stake is ridiculous and I was just experimenting with such bets. Now though I have fallen in love by making big odds with lots of games that are over goals, I never have fun winning with under so I always play over goals and let's see how it goes. For the moment the bet is not settled yet and I don't know what Stake is waiting for, as the bet is already finished with all the games yesterday in 3 Am in the morning.

Sometimes while betting on spots I like to make bets and reach these funny multipliers knowing perfectly well that it's very unlikely for me to hit anything. Realistically speaking, it's not really worth it because the edge on sports is higher than most gambling games that have only 1% whereas sports have at least 5% oftentimes nearing 10% or more for advanced bets. This isn't she to look over.

But if you play very small amounts for your wallet and treat it like a lottery ticket, it's no bother. I mostly play these bets with very small stakes from the rakeback I have received. So there's nothing to lose for me aside of that money I don't count on anyway.

Well to be fair, you didn't exactly hit 1900. Sure the half loss thing is annoying but the 2 voids ( one normal void and the other one because the game/play was abandoned ). The abandoned game could also be a loss in the end since it was 0:0 at halftime.

Anyway, still a good return for a 2 cent bet, I never win those, ever.

Only won 1 big parley ever, around 15 years ago I had like 5$ left on bet365 and I straight up bet all the MLB games ( 12 or 13 games, don't remember ) that were on that night. I rarely take those two for one asian totals or handicaps because they mostly end with a half push, win, or loss. If I placed the same bet, i'd just be happy that it survived in the end since you're not always lucky and get to walk away with these long-shot parlays.

On the positive side, the over 2.25 stopped you from getting greedy. It might've been bittersweet, but you still cashed the parlay with 8.72 odds. It still gave you more chances to create several parlays and it could've been worse if it wasn't an option.

Some of these options are some how complicated and betting companies do have it in mind to always bring new and attractive options and the more options to select from the higher the chance to lose a bet, is best to stick to one or two types of selections to avoid such a situation you're facing. These guys they can read our mind indirectly but we try to outsmart them in their own field which is not possible, odds and different options can spoil a bet that's suppose to bring something big but when we get something like void on your ticket the payment is being share and you have to take something you least expected.
