What if I were one of those people who always send merits with decimal form? Now I will have to write ZERO every time? Do you know how annoying is this?
They should have kept it as it is and added a confirmation: "Are you sure you want to send 10 merits?" And then a confirmation of the confirmation: "Attention, you have confirmed that you are sending 10 merits to Member ABC", that would be much more useful!
AFAIK, I don’t think we have merit sources that frequently use multiples of 10, except those who help members close to their next rank, like igebotz,The Cryptovator.. which still depends on the number of merit a user needs to achieve their next rank.
Confirmation is a lot for merit sources, and it would be quite annoying if I were a merit source and had to go through a confirmation check every time I tried to spend.
The best option is leaving it blank .
i do. try sending 1 merit 20 times in a row
myself, i would prefer a "1" prepopulated in that field so i could just send a merit with 2/3 clicks
A perfect fit for that is still extra buttons.. Any number from 1 to 9 is still the same as having zero but adds extra -extra merit to every mistake compared to having 0
