Sure, it's inspiring but how rare it is for something to happen one more time? Too rare to imagine. Which is the reason why I won't expect anything to happen to me too.
Big wins like this whether true or not are events where unexpected things do happen and I think most gamblers who have experience in both casino games and sports gambling have an easy way to understand that reality.
Big multipliers mean higher risk or higher amount of money that should be spent before it gives back the same amount. I'd rather put my risk on single bets and accumulate the profits long term than going for one time bet with a low chance to win.

Inspiring? Oh no, I don't consider that as an inspiration, as the end result might also turn out to be the same. It's good to outline that one time his passion for gambling and his overconfidence made him take a loan of $10,000, which luckily he turned into $20,000; what if luck was not on his side? What could have been the outcome between him and the friend who borrowed him that money?

It needs to be underlined about having skills, it is not entirely due to his skill in gambling, but this is because of his luck alone to hit a big jackpot.

Completely agreed with your both sentences it's all about luck because I know many peoples with good skills but luck never allow them to have good results.

He literally lost it all eventually which just shows that there’s definitely chance for you to lose it all of you are not careful and you have too much confidence in yourself. Plus what skills? He was banned from Nevada because he was cheating by marking cards. That’s definitely a skill but not something that should be copied.

I feel like this title and post is very misleading. He first learned how to gamble and ended up with $50 but what he used to gamble is the amount of money he loaned from his friend. He used $10,000 as his initial capital not really $50. That’s a very pretty big difference.

It is very bad that he took a loan. But what people like me will say is very cheap to what happened to him, but it is true because those that gamble to look for huge amount of money will most likely lose all the time. He is just one of the luckiest person. Most people will gamble, take loan and the end result will very bad. I prefer not to be like this guy although he is lucky.

The only purpose people should have to gamble should be fun, to lose and win just little amount of money.

There are different stories of people who have made a fortune from gambling. Skills may be important in some games but I don't think such a win is entirely a product of experience or proficiency. Luck played an important role in this kind of win. Such stories are inspiring because they give me hope that one day with a little amount I can also win big. I heard so many stories and most of them are having the same sad ending where that gambler continues to gamble after a huge win, that’s why we say in long run most people fall into the trap of not knowing when stop gambling.
Moreover, I believe that saying gambling is a reliable way to gain money or a fortune, based on less than 1% of gamblers who succeed in making a fortune, we find out that this person has lost more than what he made over time. Personally, I don’t believe in the idea of gambling as a method to make money, but I consider it as an activity to have.
