When thinking about businesses that can flourish during holidays what I can think about is what do the people that are enjoying their holidays will need after the holiday season is over. Presently school children are on long vacations in my country and after the holiday most of them will need back to school items like shoes and school bags including stationaries. I know that people who deals on these school children's goods makes a lot of sales during the long holidays. A person with income can find a space in a strategic locations to sell the goods and also market them online during the holidays season and they will make a lot of sells. I see it happen every year and more sellers are joining them in the seasons every year..

If it is not a business that you already do, you should do a needs assessment before venturing into a new one.  Secondly, understanding the business that you're about to start because. Do not jump the needs assessment phase because the business that you think is profitable may not be profitable without understanding it.

Hmmm that's quite petty effective until it becomes everyone's idea for a profitable business during that season, and then the market will get too saturated with too many businesses, and in no time, there will be fewer customers and more businesses selling the same kind of goods. Your approach is correct, that we should brainstorm about businesses that can be profitable in certain seasons or times of the year, and then execute those ideas if we have the resources, but the execution has to be done soon, before others think of doing the same.

Apart from this people who are often successful with businesses do the same thing. I actually have a foodstuffs business and it is going so well and I'm never out of business because foodstuffs business is never out of season.

I would say people should look into digital income a lot more. Like for example start a website, no idea what it is, just a website and make income from that, subscription if possible, that's just on example of course. You can even sell e-books, who cares.

Basically you should be able to just do something that is purely online without needing any shop, that should be a business that can grow a lot. Then use social media as good as you can, and you will get a lot of people who will be interested in this. So you need to be careful with what you are dealing with, if you are doing a physical shop and selling a physical product, then you are going to end up with results that will not be as good as you want it to be, it's very tough and very expensive.

The rental business is a good one if you can get decent tenants and then have them for quite a bit of time like 3-5 years. Usually students would be willing to give outside from home town when needed.

You have to be a good landlord as well. Then you can build your rapport and get good turnover.

Honestly, depends on the land they are selling. Not many people sell their city centre lands for cheap, they sell it for a good amount. Still not as much as a building that is done, because how can you compare land price with ready building price, but at least they try to make it as much as they can. But if we are talking about rural areas, like just farming land, then yeah it would make sense to sell for cheap because in most cases it doesn't really cost anything.

So you should be considering how to get a lot better return for this. I personally believe the return we can get on lands that are valuable are good business as a whole concept itself, instead of building, you just collect as much land as you can, in different parts of the nation, because it's cheaper, and you can take out a loan and pay back in 2-3 years, and keep doing that for a long time, until you have enough to sell for more later on.

When you visit some places and you are informed of how the place was before it was developed you will be very surprised because not even all the rural areas there lands needs to be sold cheap because in the years to come growth can change everything about the place to become one of the most expensive area for land acquisition, I could relate this to my state city before a lot of places there on the edge of the city was typical a rural areas that lands was highly cheap but with the development that came there you can hardly no the difference between there and the main city and lands are now too expensive there.

I totally agree with you when you mentioned food business, is an important thing in life, one thing I want you to understand again is that for every business you started there are a lot of people doing it and that is why you need to study a lot from those people and try to correct some of their mistakes so that you will generate traffic, know what they are lacking and make profession for that, I noticed one thing the challenges we face due to my environment when it comes to food business since we are having shortage of electricity we all find it difficult to get in contact with even cold water or soft drink, and if eventually someone cited this problem and try to solve it, this alone will generate more traffic when it comes to customer because this items alone will convince someone to patronize you.

I think considering that this time everything requires technology, of course, can be fast to produce a good economy, of course, for me it depends on the area where we live, of course different places are different businesses that we can do.

For example: my area because since we talk about holidays, an online motorcycle taxi business is very popular, a day can make a turnover with an economy of $ 500/day, imagine if we have 20 active online motorcycle taxis for 2 is not a lucrative business, 20x $ 250 = $ 5000/day.
