Since the US regime's aggression towards Iran is increasing again, I thought it is a good time to start a topic about the history of US aggression. Here I try to only cover the major aggression cases and keep it as short as I can so that readers can get a better understanding of the history and why we are where we are today while Iran prepares to launch a massive retaliatory strike to redefine what a military superpower truly means.

◉ History
◉ The Cold War Begins
◉ The First Proxy War
◉ The Economic Terrorism
◉ The Invasion "Options On The Table" Are Gathering Dust
◉ Iranophobia and JCPOA
◉ Enter Dumb Dumb Trump
◉ It's Now Senile Joe's Turn To Be Dumb

History
US regime animosity towards Iran goes backs almost a century. The most significant ones were
  • Invasion and occupation of Iran (a neutral country) during WW2 back in the 1940's and murdering about half of Iran's population directly or indirectly (by creating famine). All because Iran has lots of resources including oil and food they needed for their war in Europe and elsewhere.
  • Installation and backing of another dictator in Iran after the WW2 and basically keeping Iran under indirect occupation
  • CIA and MI6 orchestrated coup in 1953 to overthrow the democratically elected Prime Minister of Iran
  • Slaughtering Iranians during the Islamic Revolution on January 1979 to try and suppress the uprising against the US-backed dictator (the 4-star US Airforce general Robert Ernest Huyser oversaw those acts of terrorism)
  • Orchestrating various coup attempts and terrorist attacks against civilians after revolution succeeded in 1979 trying to once again overthrow democracy in Iran and reinstall their own puppet. That forced Iranians to once and for all dismantle the "Den of Spies" aka the US embassy in Tehran on November 1979 (yesterday was the anniversary of it).
  • Large scale invasion of post revolution Iran from 1980-1988 (at least the last 2 years is direct armed conflict between US and Iran) where they armed Iraqi dictator Saddam with all kinds of weapons including chemical.
  • Carrying out economic terrorism against Iran through various sanctions and blockades for 46 years
  • Supporting, training and arming various terrorist organization over the past 46 years from small terrorist groups like MEK to bigger ones like Al-Qaida, Israel and ISIS to carry out attacks against Iran as a US proxy
  • Carrying out the first cyber attack in history against Iranian civilian nuclear facilities in Natanz using a cyberweapon called Stuxnet. A terrorist attack that started by George W. Bush in 2006 and carried out by Obama using the biggest US regime's regional proxy called Israel

The Cold War Begins
In early 1980's the US regime realized they can not reach their objectives with force in post revolution Iran, so they started planning the Cold War and Proxy Wars against Iran.
I'd say the biggest reason that helped the regime realize this sour fact very early on was Operation Eagle Claw on April of 1980 (during Jimmy Carter presidency) which if you read the declassified documents Pentagon released you'd realize that it was the dumbest military operation in human history. But the miserable failure of this military operation in Iranian soil led to change of US regime's strategy of aggression towards Iran, in my opinion because they realized how weak and vulnerable US military is. Remember that this is post Vietnam defeat, so the regime is already scared of entering such wars with its weak and super expensive military.

The First Proxy War
The first proxy war US regime started against Iran was through the American ally at the time in Iraq. The Ba'thi regime of Saddam Hussein. In sources this war is falsely named "Iran-Iraq war" but it wasn't quite like that. The dictator of Iraq was the invader but about 38 countries directly participated in that invasion by supplying troops, that is on top of the 80 countries that indirectly helped by supplied the invaders with arms, funds, intelligence, equipment, etc. Scale of this invasion was even bigger than WW2. This was the largest land battles and trench warfare and lasted 8 years.
What's interesting about this invasion is that two major power at the time that were enemies at the time (meaning US and USSR) created a coalition to help Saddam in his invasion both directly and indirectly. Directly in the sense that for example for at least the last 2 years of that war, Iran was fighting US in direct encounters.
What's even more interesting is that Iran was practically alone in the defense against invaders!!!

This invasion that lasted 8 years left Iran with a lot of destruction and dead but the US regime failed to reach any of its objectives (failed to: occupy any parts of Iran, overthrow the revolution, re-install a US backed dictator, etc.). In the end the US regime had another bitter pill to swallow, specially after the US Military was kicked in the teeth (ie. all the ships they lost, the US guided missile frigate USS Samuel B. Roberts that got sunk, etc.)!
They realized even the exhausted Iranian forces that had no anti-ship missiles, no defenses, a degraded air-force, a small degraded Navy, etc. can deal a lot of damage to the aggressors.

The Economic Terrorism
Shortly after the revolution in 1979, the US "maximum pressure" campaign began by heavily targeting Iran's economy so that the act of "economic terrorism" can degrade the country and help with the color revolutions the US regime has been trying to carry out in Iran (last one that failed miserably was in 2022) succeed.
All these attempts have damaged Iran's economy, as it is seen in Iran's fiat currency exchange rate and GDP, but they were also many more bitter pills for the US regime to swallow as each of their color revolutions failed, one after the other...

The Invasion "Options On The Table" Are Gathering Dust
Feeling high after winning World War 3 (commonly known as The Cold War with USSR) in early 90's and entering a new and unprecedented phase of Unipolar world, the US regime felt powerful like no other time. Not surprisingly the regime started getting delusional again.

In only a couple of years the US regime had installed a war criminal into the Oval Office named George W. Bush knowing he will fulfill various demands and objectives they have been trying to achieve for the past 21 years. By 2001 he is planning to "destroy 7 Countries in 5 Years: Iraq, Syria, Iran, Libya, Lebanon, Somalia, Sudan." as general Wesley Kanne Clark said many years later.

By mid 2002 The US regime has to bite down on yet another bitter pill by the name of "The Millennium Challenge".
It was the largest and most expensive (costs about half a billion in today's dollar) war game exercise that was conducted by United States Armed Forces under United States Joint Forces Command.
The purpose was to simulate invasion of Iran and train for it (remember, the invasion orders were already issued by the POTUS)!

According to the information USJFCOM declassified and published years later, we know the bitter fact the US regime learned from that exercise was that US Military is going to be crushed if it faced Iran!
What's important to note is that according to declassified documents, what Marine Corps Lieutenant General Paul K. Van Riper was facing in those simulations was not even close to Iran's true defensive and offensive capabilities. They were a much weaker version based on very little and false intelligence US Military had gathered.
What's interesting in this simulation was that they also kept weakening Iran by taking away capabilities, making targets easier to hit (eg. the air-defenses didn't move after launch) and yet the result did not change at all! US was still defeated miserably!

That high didn't last that long either. More than 20 years later and $12 trillion wasted, the regime has nothing to show for as the result. The oil they are stealing from Iraq and Syria is not even covering a tiny portion of the cost of their war crimes.

And of course the invasion plans (invasion of Iran) keep gathering dust...

Iranophobia and JCPOA
To understand Iranophobia project's objectives it is best to replace "n" with "q" and look at what the US regime did to Iran's neighbor Iraq since it is pretty much the same strategy.
(1) Portray the target of invasion as the biggest evil on earth (ie. Iraq has weapons of mass destruction, something everyone now knows was a lie!)
(2) Sanction the target (ie. economic terrorism) and create a global coalition against that target for "maximum pressure"
(3) Force the target into negotiation table to stop "economic terrorism" (Iraq's OIP versus Iran's JCPOA)
(4) Take away the target's defensive capabilities (the long process of slowly disarming Iraq)
(5) Series of military strikes on target's defensive capabilities (the series of attacks on Iraq from 1990 to 2003)
(6) Forming a global coalition to decrease costs and invade (invasion of Iraq in 2003)

They carried out pretty much the same 1, 2 and 3 steps against Iran as well. The difference is that for (1) they accuse Iran of building nukes, accuse Iran of human rights violation (Germany just raised an accusation against Iran because Iran hanged a well known terrorist who had murdered dozens of civilians by calling that terrorist "an innocent software developer"!!!) and a lot more. For (2) the sanctions only worked partially since Iran is not as dependent as Iraq and has more allies at this point. And for (3) they could never force Iran to accept anything that would jeopardize Iran's defensive capabilities. Iran only allowed monitoring of its peaceful and civilian nuclear program to defeat the whole Iranophobia project. That is exactly what JCPOA was and that is why US regime pulled out of it in 2018 (their concern was never Iran's possible nukes, it was Iran's defensive capabilities that prevented the invasion).
That is also why steps 4, 5 and 6 never happened and can never happen for Iran.

Enter Dumb Dumb Trump
Donald Trump was probably the easiest puppet to have ever been installed into the Oval Office, possibly only matched by Reagan. The people who he surrounded himself with, specifically the Zionists, gave him a lot of false information for their own agenda. This is why he had the most friction with his military generals and kept firing people everywhere!
For example on one hand people like Pompeo (StateSec) pulled his leash in the direction of war while on the other hand when he brought it to his military generals they had to give him the same bitter pill all his predecessors had swallowed: the pathetic defeat of US military.

And yet they yanked on his leash enough to convince him to carry out an Act of Terror against international laws and kill an Iranian official in Iraqi soil who was there on official business to coordinate the war against the US backed terrorists known as ISIS. All killing the beloved general Soleimani achieved for the US regime was giving Iran the legitimacy to bomb the hell out of 2 US bases in Iraq, dealing a lot of damage to US military and to eliminate over 140 US military servicemembers in one night. An operation named Operation Martyr Soleimani that shocked the US regime due to its precision and devastation so much so that they didn't even dare show any kind of response despite the fact that Trump was doing a lot chest pounding saying he will "target 52 significant Iranian sites" if Iran carried out that operation Smiley

It's Now Senile Joe's Turn To Be Dumb
After the 1-term president Trump, the subsequent 1-term president Biden is making the same dumb mistakes and US military has been getting its metaphorical ass handed to it lately. From the miserable defeat of US Navy in the Red Sea as part of the Coalition of Terror all the way to the defeat in Gaza where US military is the main part of at this point.

Now the Zionist infested US regime has made the biggest mistake. They ordered the US military to participate and carry out the largest SEAD operation in history against Iran. A massive 3 phase operation that failed so miserably that they could only half-assed the first phase and cancel the next two!

Now Iran is preparing to launch a massive retaliatory strike against Israeli targets and possibly everyone who participated in that act of aggression to teach them a lesson.
Will that change the trend of US aggressions towards Iran? We have to wait and see. But it is important to know where it all began...

P.S. I am currently gathering more information about the SEAD operation and I will soon write a detailed article about it named "How the largest US led SEAD operation in history failed miserably". Hint: it is about "easily detectable" F-35 jets and being locked on to be shot down at 100+ km away Wink

I wonder how long it will take us to realize that we citizens pay the taxes that fund these wars and profit the 1% wealthy elite -->while they want to tell us they can't even regulate the health care industry enough so that we could pay for our own basic healthcare (never mind universal healthcare).

We just bombed Iran again months ago.
We just bombed Venezuela yesterday, bringing Maduro and his wife to the states.

There was a brief time in recent history where the major powers of the world were agreeing to stop invading other countries.
The United Nations needs to grow a pair.

but this time USA is grabbing oil tankers to pay for the attack.

Six tankers so far over 7 million barrels of oil maybe 8 million

at 63 a barrel which is about 500,000,000 so far.

So if trump is going to lift the oil from both Iran and Venezuela  a lot of people are cool with it.
The op is anti USA but he is not facing a USA that says fuck you we will pillage you. I wonder how this will play out for Iran and USA and all of us in the world.

as the USA now shows us the real player behind the mask of Mr good guy.

God help us all.

The cost is a lot higher than that though. These increasing escalation is going to eventually lead to an all out war that would bring the bombs to the US soil. For example in June 2025, Iran showed a lot of control and did not expand the war horizontally. And for example if Trump's illegal attack on Iran's civilian nuclear facilities using Tomahawk missiles hadn't failed miserably, it would have created a Chernobyl-style catastrophe in Iran. Which means Iran would have had no choice but to retaliate and we know Iran's retaliation is harsh and in kind. Meaning instead of what they did (bombing US Central Command) they would have started targeting nuclear facilities inside US soil and it could have meant that the entire East Coast would have turned into Chernobyls.

but this time USA is grabbing oil tankers to pay for the attack.
Last time US pirates stole an Iranian tanker was years ago during Trump's first term IIRC and Iran immediately retaliated by seizing 2 super tankers carrying US oil. Something that actually gave Iran a massive net profit because it first forced US to release the stolen Iranian tanker and its cargo, then the Iranian court ordered US to pay the fine for the act of piracy, then Iran fined the tanker company for breaking the law (sea pollution or something like that!) and took a fine there as well, then seized the oil of those tankers as punishment (which was more than twice the oil that the Iranian tanker was carrying).

Pirates of US regime has not dared to touch a single Iranian cargo ship ever since then. However, in the media they always keep talking about seizing Iranian oil but whenever you investigate the source, either no such tanker existed or it didn't even belong to Iran and their propaganda outlets were just selling it that way. Smiley

at 63 a barrel which is about 500,000,000 so far.
$500 mil is nothing considering how extremely expensive US military and its operations are though. For example during Operation True Promise 2 Iran bombed Israel for 4 hours (1 wave) using ballistic missiles. According to US sources it cost Department of War and Bloodshed $4 billion dollars to try and fail to intercept those missiles. That is $1 billion per hour not counting the damage cost.

During Operation True Promise 3, Iran bombed the NATO-Zionist Axis (not Israel alone) for 13 days in 22 phases. Try to compute how much it cost them considering roughly 50% of entire US intercept missiles were either used or got destroyed in Iran's retaliatory strikes (eg. the top secret US/Zionist intercept missile storage that the Zionist regime's commander of air defense leaked to Iran and got arrested for it).
Then add to that the devastating damage US military sustained in those attacks (98 aircrafts lost including drones, F32, F15, F16 and possibly F18 but not sure about the last one, 1 out of 6 US THAAD battalions got completely wiped, over a dozen US military bases in the region mainly in East Euphrates were completely destroyed (some were just basically relay towers though), the CENTCOM base was hit hard with 6 Qadr ballistic missiles with 2000 pound warheads each, so on.

Adding all this you'd reach a multi trillion dollars expense... and that was just a very small and very controlled fire exchange between Iran and the entire NATO not an all out war where Iran for example sinks aircraft carriers ($40-$50 billion each) or retaliates against US infrastructure in the US soil.

My response will be pedestrian because I'm not highly educated but it is fair for me as someone who is older to make an observation regarding how United States citizens have been "sold" on wars historically.
But also, most of our governments are making choices that consider damage to some humans as an acceptable cost of progress mostly in service to profit a very few elite.
They achieve this by selling us (the 99%) convenience, security, myths about our "goodlyness" or 'others' "godlessness" with a promise of potentially becoming the 1%.
Historically United States foreign policy has been problematic but this until recently has been shielded from its citizens.

The 60's in the US began to bring about a sense of consciousness regarding systems of oppression and a growing mistrust in our government.
Wars were typically made out to be fights for freedom, maybe even to some of the politicians but absolutely to citizens who shed their blood and lives in service to them.

If you look back at Bush #1's stance in 80's as he enters into a race for a 2nd term. It is an evolving realization of our responsibility to the rest of the world as a super-power. Also he seems to want leaders to cede power to the global commissions that had been being built. <--this BTW is a threat to the long established global elite (the 1% or .01%)

Our current administration under Trump is the 1st to say the plans out loud.
His aggressive posture is new to the American people and his ability to tap into grievance
An example is Palestine:
"Gaza should be thought of as beautiful piece of real estate" - "It will be the next  Riviera"
The veils are being lifted but not in our media.
AIPAC  (American Israel Public Affairs Commission) donates to both parties. It spends 100 million and our government sends billions + weapons to Israel.
If you are pro-Palestine then they'll try to paint you as an antisemite --> radical
Our politicians are fully bought out by industry right now.
When Steven Miller talks about "might makes right" in regard to foreign affairs on FOX news ---> normal everyday people don't see that and their base is excited by it.
The Trump administration will go to war before they face the consequences of their actions regarding the Epstein files.

AIPAC  (American Israel Public Affairs Commission) donates to both parties. It spends 100 million and our government sends billions + weapons to Israel.
Speaking of AIPAC, it is worth knowing that for thousands of years this is what Zionists have done to all empires. They have always been like parasites, they stick to a healthy and strong host and suck the life out of it and bring about its downfall.

For example every year in Israel they celebrate one of the greatest genocides they've committed in human history when they celebrate "Purim" from 2300+ years ago. Back then the "super power" of the time was Achaemenid Empire that is still the largest empire that went from Eastern Europe (basically Balkans) and North Africa all the way to India.
Like a parasite, they attached themselves to this Persian empire and crawled all the way to the top to the point where they send basically a prostitute named Esther to wed the king and whisper in his ears to slaughter tens of thousands of people.
The Achaemenid Empire crumbled in 330 BCE.

Fast forward to modern times. You got the parasitic AIPAC (which was once correctly called American Zionist Committee for Public Affairs) in the USA that is not registered as a foreign agent under Foreign Agents Registration Act despite being a foreign agent and this parasitic entity has almost everyone in US political scene on Zionists' payroll. And if any of them refuse to be part of it, AIPAC will fund their competitor and end their political carrier!
This is why all the wars the US has started in West Asia (where Israel is located) has been at the order of Zionists; like the war criminal George W. Bush's War of Terror where he orders destruction of 7 countries in 5 years after he took office.
Even the current US navy and air-force deployment in West Asia is at the order of Israel where they have threatened POTUS with the incriminating evidence they have on his involvement with the sex criminal Epstein.

Today they still have and use "Esther"s too. Epstein was one of them. Another one which is a better example is Israel's "sex diplomat", Tziporah Malka aka "Tzipi Livni" who is a Mossad prostitute who was sent to have sexual relations with various politicians and gather incriminating evidence that could be used against them.
Her list is very long as well, it goes from United States Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice all the way to Arab dictators like the Emir of Qatar. Her list even contains corrupt Palestinians like members of Palestine Liberation Organization (the currently most hated group in Palestine that is on Israel's payroll helping the occupation grow). Funny thing about her is that the Zionist Rabbis justify all of her actions which are against Jewish beliefs!

A big chunk of United State's $38.7 trillion national debt is the result of the wars Israel ordered them to start over the past 20+ years. It is worth knowing that before Bush started his War of Terror, US had a much smaller national debt and a budget surplus (something like $250 billion surplus)! Today they run $38+ trillion debt and almost $2 trillion budget deficit.
... the "empire" is crumbling and the parasites have already begun their migration to the next host: China.
