I pointed this out in another thread and I will voice it again - Trump winning the elections from the support of bitcoin users does not necessarily mean that they will make everything better for bitcoin. Governments want taxation, money and Trump has his own casinos to run in the Vegas strip. Becomes the president means only relaxation for those casinos and more money for his family.

Very little advantage for the bitcoin users, but yet it is better than nothing.

I dont mean to say that a opposing candidate would have been better, but whoever get elected, the bitcoin users must stick together instead of choosing sides, because nobody will actually help us.

Cryptocurrency investor support was not the main factor in deciding Trump's victory. To be more precise, crypto investors contributed to Trump's victory and expect to receive some benefits from him as promised.

What we need is for him to be less hard on us and to enact policies that are friendlier to us. We can't ask for too much and expect him not to tax us or that we can do whatever we want without being controlled. No government or administration will compromise with us if we make those demands, it is beyond their capacity.

Our main goal in this election was to support a pro-bitcoin presidential candidate for the future of bitcoin, and we achieved our goal. So we should put aside the previous arguments and unite to promote the development of bitcoin because that is our main goal, not to worship a certain president.

Historically, Trump's administration that ended in 2021, was seriously scrutinised mixers and also the cryptocurrency business environment was not favoured as many regulations to limits the growth of bitcoin in usa was put in places!  Fortunately, for bitcoin we can predict a favourable environment now as so many things has changed and the same Trump is now pro bitcoin.  I expect three things to happen:
1. Bitcoin is going to experience favourable environment through deregulation.
2. It is going to experience positive market sentiment as he is not going to make negatives Comments against it the way he was doing during his past administration.
3. Services like mixers is going to be seriously facing challenges of scrutiny and many centralised exchanges are going to spring up.

Bitcoin ETF has opened bitcoin to larger funded organisations that now determine survival of btc outside cryptocurrency enthusiasts. Many factors now affect its survival and we now needs a government's favourable cryptocurrency environment for it to achieve the purpose it was created.

I’m not sure about mixers - unless they fully comply with KYC, maybe they’ll get some kind of green light from the Trump administration. It’s really about regulation, and that’s why the community is so happy; just look at Bitcoin hitting its ATH today.

That said, we still need to see if those promises actually come true. Politicians are known for saying anything to win support, but not all of it gets delivered. Still, as a Bitcoin enthusiast, I won’t doubt Trump on this one, I’ll stay optimistic that his policy on Bitcoin will be positive.

It's obvious as predicted ever since Trump got announced as the winner, no high expectations tho let's just keep our thoughts positive but I strongly believe it's time not just Trump victory leading to the current price because we've been discussing about the bull run ever since before Trump and Kamala election. I know some will fail to accept the fact about Trump being a part of crypto enthusiast, personally I'm starting to see how far Bitcoin will go with or without Trump. Definitely, if he'll act as promised towards crypto nothing will be exempted rather there'll be a free will to practice and hold including exchange etc.

As of recent, Trump's win actually affected the crypto market massively. In just a couple of hours, literally less than 12 hours from yesterday night till early this morning. Well to be sincere I really didn't think that trump winning would give the crypto market such boost in just a couple of hours not only in the case of bitcoin but literally almost every coin and token in the crypto space.

Before now I actually believed that the idea that trump's win would cause a bull in the crypto space was just a mere speculation however I am still not fully convinced actually. Donald Trump came to power and had a huge impact on Bitcoin, as the price of Bitcoin was below 70k before Donald Trump won the election. But after the victory was confirmed, the price of Bitcoin increased to touch 75.4k dollars which is the most positive side and in time if one can be patient. Then 2024 Bitcoin price will be very likely to be close to 100k.

But I think it's more likely that mixers won't be supported, because it's banned. Donald Trump won't be able to control everything once he comes to power. But Bitcoin investors will benefit the most from the future, which will have more impact on the price of Bitcoin.

Mixer and KYC cannot be integrated. They are two parallel lines that cannot meet. If you have to register with KYC in a mixing service, your coins can easily be traced to you. He would definitely sack Gary Gensler and appoint maybe someone that can be flexible.

I think every adults here knew that the price pump is just temporary since some traders just want to capitalize the hype for Trump win to incorporate with Bitcoin. There’s still no guarantee that Trump will grant all his promises during his campaign.

Also there’s a lot of government officials that needs to be convinced in able for Bitcoin to become less strict when it comes to regulations.

But Trump win is a good start but the riding the hype now will be dangerous since this price fluctuation is just temporary.

BTC would have gone up after their election just like after their past 2 elections. Also saying that trump is responsible for the bullrun makes bitcoin look weak and centralized around one leader.

Donald Trump presidency has been linked to surge in Bitcoin price but it is good to consider various factors that influence market. Donald Trump is almost elected president, now it will be understood after the election whether the promises he made with Bitcoin will be implemented. However, Donald Trump must have a friendly and courteous attitude towards Bitcoin, because if the president of a country like America that invests in Bitcoin is positive about Bitcoin, then it goes without saying that Bitcoin will move forward positively.

I will say the hype will definitely cause a few pumps in the market due to FOMO we had the same hype thing in period of ETF approval where the approval was meet with so much hype that even made us had a new all time high before the halving which is unusual, but just like every hype it died down and immediately the Market started its correction once again. This Trump triumph isn’t going to be a lot different from that because people most especially the naive ones will seriously FOMO at this period and that’s what will increase the demand for bitcoin.

But as usual it will die down because his win isn’t solving the world economy problem instant which is my number one factor for bitcoin a real pump. Other than Trump win this month was actually expected to be bullish and it would have done that just that this will be a catalyst for the run

For the Americans, perhaps yes. Given that Biden aimed to squeeze the crypto industry as much as possible, and that his goal was to make it impractical to own bitcoin without having a third party keeping them for you, then I think Trump will do better. People don't need regulated exchanges, and the government must stay away from people's access to bitcoin as much as possible.

Mixers or privacy coins are obviously treated equally bad, despite the government.

Trump won this election with massive support from many communities in the USA, from diversifying demography, and not only from Bitcoin and cryptocurrency communities.

I believe that he saw bright future with blockchain, Bitcoin and cryptocurrency industry and market, so he will do his best to nurture this industry and market more. He as a President will depend on the Senate and The House for policies, and won't be able to do everything he wants. But if he has a good will, he will dom something for Bitcoin and cryptocurrency communities.

It's one of contributors for Trump's win and it's really hard to judge it's decisive contributor or not. It's no longer important now, Trump already won and he is counting down time to return to the White House as a President. He has many ideas, some are good, some are bad, but Bitcoin community have reasons to feel positively with the ending of 2024 Election.

A pro Bitcoin government (like what we saw in El Salvador) and everything else under that category will definitely help but it is not necessary for "survival". It is not even necessary for growth. They just contribute to the growth and help the adoption while Bitcoin can continue well without them.

I would say otherwise. Investors' expectations that Donald Trump, having become president, "will realy make good impact to the bitcoin market", have this very good influence on the BTC-market. Because of these expectations of a "better future", investors have driven the BTC-price up to $74.163. And isn't this a new historical maximum?

I am not at all sure that Trum's actions in relation to the cryptocurrency industry will be favorable for BTC-investors and users. Trump, like any politician, will act in his own interests and "give" the BTC-community only what he will not mind sacrificing (new laws and relaxations in terms of legalization). It is naive to trust officials and expect "permissiveness" with cryptocurrencies.

Mixers as a "tool" to stay under the "government radar" will always be banned by them. Regulations towards them will always be strict.

Exchanges will undoubtedly benefit, because with some government relaxations in terms of regulation of cryptocurrencies, this will attract more new users, and therefore more profits.

That's absolutely a YES, and it will be MORE than $75,000. I read some posts in X that said BlackRock's spot ETF had more than $1,000,000,000 in daily volume? I haven't verified the information yet, BUT if that's actually true, then it's probably because the institutions know that the United States with the new president will be more "friendly" towards crypto in general, WHICH definitely means more price surges and more profit.

The people that sold their Bitcoins during March to October - "to buy lower", will FOMO with lesser units of Bitcoin.

Hold on and stop speculation!

Donald Trump winning the US presidential election does not guarantee that cryptocurrency will be in a better position in US.  Especially I do not see any hope for the mixers. Probably the legal exchanges will get some flexibilities and we may see DOJ and SEC to stop taking arbitrary actions against them.

But it is too early to say that. Believing a politician is the last thing you should do in your lifetime.
