I pointed this out in another thread and I will voice it again - Trump winning the elections from the support of bitcoin users does not necessarily mean that they will make everything better for bitcoin. Governments want taxation, money and Trump has his own casinos to run in the Vegas strip. Becomes the president means only relaxation for those casinos and more money for his family.

I agree, Trump supporting Bitcoin into legalization simply means what you stated.  Tax and other form of policies will be created so that Bitcoin won't interfere or contrast with the existing law of the country.  Bitcoin may have an advantage of being exposed to more people in a good way but obviously there is always a price to pay when politician made there support and move to adopt Bitcoin in legal ways.

Very little advantage for the bitcoin users, but yet it is better than nothing.
I dont mean to say that a opposing candidate would have been better, but whoever get elected, the bitcoin users must stick together instead of choosing sides, because nobody will actually help us.

True, Trump intention in supporting Bitcoin is for his own political career, whatever happens on the policies regarding Bitcoin after the election, it is the Bitcoin community who will shoulder them so better to not put our hopes too high because I believe, there is always this catch whenever the government move forward to accepting and legalizing Bitcoin.

Probably the legal exchanges will get some flexibilities and we may see DOJ and SEC to stop taking arbitrary actions against them.

But it is too early to say that. Believing a politician is the last thing you should do in your lifetime.

Mixers make it harder to track criminals or fight terrorism, we all know that. So it's not feasible to expect the Trump administration to have a policy that would allow them to operate again. Even if he has a soft spot for bitcoin and the crypto industry, as president he needs to prioritize the national interest above all else, so don't expect too much.

Honestly, I support him but I also don't expect much and believe that he will fulfill all his promises because politics doesn't work that way. But I believe we will be much better off under him than under Biden or Harris.

Yes, even before, Trump administration has been seen acting against mixers because they can be tools for money laundering, terrorist financing and illicit activities. This is what most people fails to understand about politicians, they are not the kind of people that can keep to what they say. I don't think Donald trump will be able to do anything for bitcoin,  the best he can do for bitcoin as US president is to accept Bitcoin as a legal tender,  I think this is what the bitcoin community would love to see, if nothing like this I don't know what more he can do for the lovers of bitcoin. If he can be able to establish good regulation of bitcoin that will be in favour of the people, these are the things that is is expected from him as the president but it won't make much sense to have high hope if these things can be done.

The ATH that we saw was because of the just concluded US presidential election that Donald Trump, emerged as the winner. I believe that it's the hype of his friendliness towards Bitcoin during his campaigns that caused the pump. I guess that in subsequent weeks we'll know whether the price increase will sustain and reach another ATH or we'll see a decline. Trump, has used Bitcoin as one of his election tools to win, now we'll wait and see if he becomes a pro Bitcoin president, or if he used the strategy to gather bitcoiners to vote for him. I very much doubt that the US government or any other governments will regulate mixers.

Haha, I'm not sure why people are exaggerating the hype of Bitcoin with this election. No doubt it played a vital role, but after eliminating this narrative from the election campaigns, it isn't the case that the entire election campaign from both parties can be multiplied by zero.

I thought the coming of Trump will brings back Mixers to the forum and I was advocating that for friends and relatives that are in cryptocurrency investment. If mixers are in the other forums then it can be here as well if things are alright.

As for the exchange, they are already existing so there is no additional benefits are needed but the government can create an enabling environment for the crypto community not operate without external interference. And the DEX and the CEX need such environment to operate.

And how do you know this? Expecting some favorable outcomes could be reasonable, as if Trump failed to keep his campaign promises, you can be sure people will remember and hold this against the republicans during the next election, but it is impossible to be completely sure this may happen, especially when it comes to mixers, which have been the target of security agencies for some time and I do not see how this could change.

With Trump's election victory, will Bitcoin ride the wave of success to reach $75,000? The current price is $73,300.

Just recently within today, we already hit $74, 300+ as much as I can recall and $75,000 can't be a fly to the moon for bitcoin price because by the bull, we're expecting about $100,000. And with or without Trumps victory, we shall reach a greater All Time High in the bitcoin market.

The good news is that we have already moved bitcoin from $68,000 up to $75k, breaking to a new ATH, and now we are currently on $76,500, which is not far away from $80,000, and if Bitcoin can touch $80,000 in the next few days, then it won't be hard for it to break up to the $100k level as it's most of the target for the end of the year.

One think I’ve learnt the hard way is not trusting the words of politicians because the moment they get into office, It seems they all forget their promises and manifestos but I pray Trump will be different because a lot of persons especially from the cryptocurrency industry hope to see him do better and from the look of things, it seems Trumps tenure might be a good one for cryptocurrency as we already have bitcoin at a new ATH price few hours after the declaration of Trump as the new president.

Institutional investors are already getting involved, which is a good sign for the future - unless they’re just here to manipulate the market, which hasn’t happened yet. Trump made a great advancement towards making bitcoin go higher because it's was part of his campaign strategy and with news like trump making his first bitcoin transaction affected the price and we know how bitcoin is very dependable on news the moment their is a kind of a positive news then the price bitcoin will go up and everyone already know that if the trump should win their will be a big increase in the price of bitcoin the price will definitely go up.

And during the election the price did not just go up their was a tramandious increase in the market and bitcoin was making a new ATH steadily, and people were more positive about trump and that is one of the best things that trump used in winning no one expected him, and I love the fact that trump did not make any in relevance statement and everything he said is in line.

We have 2 exchanges, one is centralized exchange and another one is No KYC P2P or DEX.

For centralized exchange, I'm not sure what they can get benefit, they just doing their business except the president want to lower the tax.

All of the promises are doable, they only take a leader willing to turn them into reality.  Bitcoin undoubtedly will survive, it would have survived no matter who the President was going to be.

More regulation might bring better security for investments, though it's not the decentralized vision we had for Bitcoin. But things change.

In terms of regulation, we may or may not see improvements as politicians cannot be trusted with their promises.
Mixers will definitely not receive any attention and will continue to stay prohibited.
If at all Trump do consider fulfilling his promises then we might see things that will pump bitcoin price.
It all depends on Trump if he truly considers supporting bitcoin and the community.
