Limiting our reach to money is a better strategy for gambling and that is what I used when gambling. From my understanding on what the OP said is that he mistakenly deposited $1000 on his betting account and he wanted to make a withdrawal of $900 but unfortunately for him, the casino asked him to make a one time wager. I always say that some gamblers can't be smarter than gambling itself, so long as they are infested with the wrong psychology, then it's finished for them. At least we know our limits as you said so we don't gambling excessively without using too much money. Limitations really helps us to control our funds to gambling because we will prepare for some money to gamble and will stop when it is almost run out.
