I'm looking for unique, lesser known TV shows (40+ minutes)

I recently enjoyed Orphan Black, Utopia, Les Revenants, Peaky Blinders and probably a few I don't recall just now.

The narrative should be ongoing, not episodic. Other than that I don't care, genre doesn't matter (thriller, drama, horror, scifi, whatever), as long as it's interesting and not something I've seen in a dozend other TV shows.

This latest season of House of Cards is good, although it starts off really slow.   It seems like that's how most of the seasons are...as soon as it gets really good, the season is over.

Bosch Season 2 is pretty good so far too.
