The effect is definitely positive because it means the US has a lot of trust in Bitcoin. There is no doubt that the Bitcoin market has had a positive impact since Trump's promise and the price of Bitcoin will move in a positive direction after the promise is kept. Also with the increasing economic problems US is facing and will face if Trump goes ahead with half of his plans (like his version of the decade old Tariff War) and also the ever increasing government expenses and increasing deficit, he may start looking into increasing taxation to increase the government income.
Part of that could mean more draconian tax laws. That would be a new age for Americans indeed...

More sanctions against Mixers, Centralized Exchanges, and censorship attempts on Bitcoin mining pools. These changes are increasing and we are coming into a new era which has less space for privacy, decentralization, but more regulations, sanctions, and censorship.

Well, once he has been elected, and there is nothing we can do about it, it is best to wait for him to carry out those pro-bitcoin policies he announced. I think this guys are over expecting from Trump and this could lead to a very disappointing situation. I definitely notice that a lot of bitcoin users are only interested in bitcoin for its price which is fine but on the long term we would want bitcoin to not only reach high value but be recognized as a decentralized currency. While I like the impact Trump is having on bitcoin right now, I wouldn't say it's a new era because overall for long-term purposes it seems like it's more about bitcoin trying to be manipulated to give them less control and I don't really like that.
