After much work, I am proud to finally present the product that has been in the works for over a year—from inception to design and finding the right partner to manufacture it.
15 years ago, on January 3rd, 2009, the Bitcoin blockchain was launched, with the Genesis Block minted, starting an unstoppable movement. On June 18th, 2014, Crypto Imperator released its first coin, the 10,000 Doge coin. (As a curiosity, at an average funding cost of $2.40, this coin now holds nearly $3,500 in value.) Over the last 10 years, Crypto Imperator has produced dozens of designs across various metals, all made possible by the fantastic Bitcoin collectibles community.
It’s been many years now, and Bitcoin is closer to $100,000 than $0, despite having been declared dead over 477 times. It remains an unstoppable force. No matter the price, the Bitcoin network works seamlessly in the background, with miners solving complex math calculations like a well-oiled clock. Every part, every little gear has its purpose.
A watch is what we feel best represents this, like Bitcoin, is designed to keep going, powered by the motion of the wearer’s wrist, quietly ticking along without notice, just like the blockchain operates in the background.
The goal was to create something unique and discreet. In today’s world, with the increasing price of Bitcoin, it’s wise not to prominently display Bitcoin logos but rather to represent it in a subtle way. A rugged, heavy-duty dive watch embodies the concepts of resilience, censorship resistance, and immutability of the blockchain. It’s designed to withstand extreme pressures, with a robust automatic movement that allows it to operate autonomously, just like Bitcoin.
Time is immutable, as is the blockchain.
This watch has been crafted in Italy by Unimatic, a very respected brand. Every detail of the watch has been customized—custom dial, bezel, caseback, etc.—for a limited run of just 21 pieces (one of the smallest limited editions ever produced by them).

Features- Case: 40mm (41.5 with bezel) and 11.6 mm thickness made in 316L Stainless Steel with a brushed finish and a crystal made of sapphire, extremely scratch resistant. The watch can withstands water depths of 300m / 30bar / 1000ft without problem thanks to the screw down crown, each watch has been individually tested for such depths
- Bezel: Custom 0-21 acid engraving in aluminium, symbolizing the 21 million maximum Bitcoin supply, with a glowing in the dark orange pip. Rotating, so you can time everything from diving to block times.
- Seconds hand: Finished in Bitcoin orange and glowing in the dark
- Dial: Completely custom dial, in matte black featuring "Bitcoin, Superlative Currency, Blockchain Certified" as a playful homage to the famous Rolex “Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified” designation. A powerful luminous compound has been applied to both hands and hour markers to allow for the time to be read in the dark
- Caseback: Completely customized to commemorate both 10 and 15 years anniversaries, serialized XX/21.
- Straps: Included come three straps, one TPU in Bitcoin Orange, a Suede leather (Made in Italy) brown strap and a black nylon military strap, so you can chose your style when wearing the watch. Additionally a tool for changing straps and extra springbars are included with the watch.
- Movement: The heart of the watch, a Swiss Made Sellita movement with 26 jewels, self winding and 41 hours power reserve at 4Hz beating (28,800vph - meaning the seconds hand moves 8 times per second, with a smooth sweep around the dial-
- Box: A tough water resistant case that can hold up to two watches and their straps, for easy and safe carry during travels. Made out of Polypropylene (PP) and fiber glass to enhance resistance it’s tested to be waterproof (IP67), shockproof and dustproof.

FAQ- Does the watch need batteries?: No, it has an automatic mechanical movement, powered by a spring that recharges with arm movements. You can also wind it manually. When you are not wearing it, it will stop after about 41 hours
- What if the watch stops working after the warranty period?: The Sellita movement is reliable and widely used. Any experienced watchmaker should be able to service it for a reasonable cost.
- Does the watch need regular manteinance?: It’s recommended to check water resistance yearly and service the movement every four years, but as long as it functions well, this isn’t strictly necessary.
- How do I restart the watch if it stops?: Gently swing it or manually wind it to start.
- Can I shower, swim, snorkel, or scuba dive with the watch?: Yes, it's rated for 300m depth, much deeper than typical recreational limits.
- Can I get my own straps?: Yes, it has a 22mm lug-to-lug fit, so you can use other compatible straps.
