You missed out at the time you created this thread bitcoin already broken 92k + price so saying that bitcoin attained an $87k all time high may be a misquotes in this whole thing, and the impact of bitcoin on other coins is as a result of chain connections, that is to say that cryptocurrency market is a chain and bitcoin is the altimate driver of the market and once bitcoin market pick, the rest of the other coin will follow.

Unless for coin that have very bad market approach, such as shitcoins that have been dumped already that will not pick along with bitcoin market, if not, all other coins that have good market potential will always pick along with the bitcoin market.

Surprised to see Bitcoin (BTC) almost touching $94K today, Bitcoin (BTC) dominance may be even bigger in the near future, so I thought it would be better to move my portfolio to Bitcoin (BTC).

The only tokens that have been doing well on this entire move grind up by BTC has been memecoin. Regular VCs alts except a select few have resumed down ONLY between yesterday and today. Now, it feels like aside BTC, one needs to think and behave like a retard in order to win in today's crypto market.

I don't anymore. I didn't bought it when it was $0.06 last year. It was a great opportunity but then, moments like that happens when we don't see the pump yet. Everyone who are watching on it will be feeling bad and regret that we didn't bought it when it was on the dip. That's okay on my side, I've got my BTC going up and this is why it's fine for me even if I've missed that opportunity. But those that have been holding for so long and missed the ATH that it has got, maybe this is the time that you'll see that the ATH will be managed to surpassed. It's half way there.

Doge has been very disappointing in this spike in bitcoin price where every other altcoins within the class of doge is boosting up  in response to bitcoin price whereas Doge price movement isn't reciprocating it as those other coins are. For people who are holding coins like pepe or WIF they would be making some huge profit than those with Doge which has been around long time before even WIF and a host of other altcoins that are doing great this period.

Doge is blowing up cuz of the news that Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy are going to lead the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) thing now that Trump announced.  Having those big name guys heading up some government department has made people think this could mean huge things for Dogecoins reputation and momentum.  Its already got some hype as like a meme cryptocurrency thats starting to actually have some useful purposes too and  so the speculating is that with Elon and Vivek pushing DOGE along with their star power, it will make Dogecoin seem more legitimate.

meme coin is having it good, meanwhile other alts just straight up dumping 

good thing i diversified to some memes as well, especially the new ones but can't lie that I expect more from alt growth, coin like celestia and so on, just doesn't grow at all.
but maybe we will need to wait for the real alt season to arrive first but so far, meme coin just triumph over any other altcoin asset.

though I also understand that in every bitcoin rally, meme coin will always be the one to carry the hype first.

Certainly what it is, trends pump the price, and this time the wave is large. Traders are looking at the huge possiblity of Doge hitting the $1 mark, but what then happens when the news on the Department is no longer hot? Doge has few traders who would hold for an extended period, which is one of the reason I wouldn't want to hold the coin. Though it always go along with Bitcoin's price increase, the holders of the memecoin rush to take profits, then dump the price again.

Dogecoin is a long term project and has been on space for couples of years now, this coin is mostly being promoted and hyped by Elon musk. You during that last bull when it pumped to around .9$ about hit $1 and lot of people ventured into it with the mindset that it will break out that amount that leads to the serious dump on the market. Since from then those who invested then was so much afraid to lose more due to the decline in price and they tried to secure profits after they think that is the final price level of it and to see that it went even more lower from .9$ to .2$ before making this increase again.

Holding not a large sum to realize a good profit but I did trade the coin last week on the futures market and I made some from as price moved from $0.199 to $0.3. BTC usually have a price impact on other altcoin that's why they move in respect to BTC price surge and it also happens during bear market.

I still hold some Dogecoin, it is not unusual for Altcoins to follow the trend of Bitcoin though. Let’s be honest, without Bitcoin there would be no Altcoins, it’s the Godfather. But the opposite is true also, when Bitcoin goes into a bear market Alts follow. You won’t be far wrong if you base your crypto investments around the four year halving cycles of Bitcoin.

Still HODL doge when buying at low prices and currently still not selling it because it thinks the meme hype will continue as long as bitcoin goes up, then at least the target to the price of $0.7 will only sell doge.

In addition, Elon Musk continues to support Doge, making him think that this king of memes will continue to rise, maybe it can return to ATH, which is expected by many holders.

Doge is still quite strong with several increases and even surpassed ETH.

Bitcoin price movement will always have a positive impact on altcoins because they are all built because of Bitcoin, and they will never surpass Bitcoin in any way, once Bitcoin price starts going down, altcoins will follow suit that is why the Bitcoin price pump is always referred to the crypto bull run, and altcoins do also pump at that period.

$DOGE holders are very lucky because I see that the price went above 100% in the last seven days.

Elon's influence has once again effected a positive and massive pump on the $doge coin, and many people have started investing in the coin prior to the altcoin bull run that might happen soon.
